Abstract

One of the challenges for workers or employees is balancing time for work with their personal life, which is commonly called work life balance. The aim of providing work life balance psychoeducation in this social service is to provide an understanding of the importance of work life balance to PT. Sinar Sosro Kantor Penjualan Wilayah Kalimantan Sulawesi employees. The method uses intervention in the form of psychoeducation including psychoeducational preparation (conducting FGDs and surveys), implementing psychoeducation, administering pre-tests and post-tests. The implementation of work life balance psychoeducation was attended by 32 participants from PT. Sinar Sosro Kantor Penjualan Wilayah Kalimantan Sulawesi employees whose work placement is at the Kantor Penjualan Wilayah office. The results of this service show that the work life balance psychoeducation activities carried out can provide employees with an understanding of the importance of work life balance itself. This understanding includes what work life balance is, the concept of work life balance, factors that influence work life balance, signs of poor work life balance, and ideal work life balance.

Abstract

The development of children's cognition, especially at the early school age, is one of the keys to success in human growth and development. However, parents and teachers may experience limited understanding and skills in identifying, stimulating and evaluating children's cognitive development according to their developmental stage. To overcome partner problems, the PKM implementation team proposed training activities with the ultimate goal of helping parents and teachers at Pertiwi Kindergarten, South Sulawesi, in developing understanding and skills to support the cognitive development of kindergarten-aged children. PKM activities are carried out in the form of parenting seminars, with participants from parents and teachers at Pertiwi Kindergarten, South Sulawesi. Overall, the parenting seminar activity on optimizing the cognitive development of kindergarten age children at Pertiwi Kindergarten, South Sulawesi has been carried out very well and achieved the expected goals. The high level of participation and enthusiasm of participants, reflected in the presence of participants and their active involvement in discussions, shows the success of this program in meeting partners' needs.

Abstract

Waste has always been a problem that until now has not yet found the best solution. Until now, the behavior of public concern for waste is still very low. Based on these problems, it is important to carry out psychoeducation from an early age about waste sorting and how to save waste so that knowledge about waste processing increases. The method for analyzing the results of this psychoeducation is to use a quantitative method. Before and after the psychoeducation was carried out, participants were given a pre-test and post-test using a scale that aims to measure the extent to which participants understand the material presented by the researcher. Based on the results of the data analysis carried out, it was found that the psychoeducation carried out was able to increase understanding of the definition of waste, the impact of unprocessed waste, sorting waste based on the type of waste, and how to save at a waste bank.

Abstract

Pengenalan wirausaha sejak dini merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengubah mindset terkait wirausaha dan pengembangan karakter wirausaha pada remaja. Sementara berdasarkan hasil awal analisa kebutuhan diketahui masih kurangnya pemahaman wirausaha yang memadai pada remaja di tingkat sekolah menengah atas. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini difokuskan pada pemahaman mindset dan karakter wirausaha pada siswa SMKN 5 Makassar. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah interaktif. Peserta adalah siswa kelas XI di SMKN 5 Makassar dari tiga jurusan yang berbeda. Jumlah peserta adalah sebanyak 28 orang terdiri dari siswa laki-laki dan Perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan, diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman terkait wirausaha, perubahan pola pikir terutama motivas menjadi wirausaha serta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman terutama terkait kreativitas dalam ide bisnis. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini adalah pemahaman mindset wirausaha pada tingkat remaja dapat menjadi langkah awal yang penting dalam membentuk generasi muda yang berdaya saing. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini membuktikan bahwa melalui berbagai metode interaktif dan pendekatan kreatif, dapat memberikan dampak positif pada remaja dan membantu remaja dalam hal ini siswa SMKN 5 Makassar mengembangkan karakter wirausaha.

Abstract

Stressors for students at school can arise from situations that cause feelings of frustration, conflict, pressure, change, or self-imposed demands. Data obtained shows symptoms of stress in students, such as anxiety during exams, difficulty understanding material, and short deadlines for assignments. These stressful conditions trigger physical and emotional reactions that interfere with students' performance at school. The inability to implement effective coping strategies is one of the main causes of academic stress. Therefore, it is expected that the training provided can help reduce perceived academic stress. The problem-solving approach is carried out through training activities consisting of five stages: training needs analysis (TNA), material planning and module preparation, implementation, result measurement, and training evaluation. The implementation of these activities showed a decrease in the academic stress scores of students with moderate to high stress levels, both immediately after the training and 12 weeks later. However, this decrease was not statistically significant.
