Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh dari pembelajaran e-learning edmodo dengan model blended learning terhadap minat belajar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan quasy-experimental design with pretest-posttest and control group. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan intax group comparison. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 60 siswa yang terdiri dari 2 kelas pada Program Keahlian Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan di salah satu SMK Negeri yang ada di Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan metode kuisioner dan observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengunakan uji-t sedangkan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran e-learning edmodo dengan model blended learning menggunakan rumus standart gain dari Ricard R. H. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan e-learning edmodo model blended learning dengan siswa yang belajar dengan bantuan slide presentasi. Selain itu, ditinjau dari nilai gain pada pembelajaran e-learning edmodo dengan model blended learning memiliki kriteria sedang dan pada kelas yang dibelajarkan dengan bantuan slide presentasi memiliki kategori rendah. THE EFFECT OF EDMODO E-LEARNING USING BLENDED LEARNING MODEL ON LEARNING INTERESTThis study was aimed at investigating the effect of edmodo e-learning using blended learning model on learning interest. This study used quantitative research combined with quasy-experimental design and pretest-posttest and control group. The sample was chosen using intax group comparison. Sixty students were chosen as the sample of this study consisting of 2 classes of Computer and Network Engineering Expertise Program at one of the State Vocational Schools in Yogyakarta. The data were collected using questionnaire and observation methods. The data then analyzed using t-test. To determine the effectiveness of edmodo e-learning using blended learning model, the standard gain formula proposed by Ricard R.H. was used. The results of this study show that there is a significant effect between the students learning using edmodo e-learning with blended learning model compares to the students learning using presentation slides only. Viewed from the gain value, edmodo e-learning with blended learning model has medium criteria, while the class taught with the aided of presentation slides has a low category.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi hambatan dan kebutuhan dalam proses pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial (IPS) di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi proses pembelajaran IPS, analisis bahan ajar, dan mencermati rata-rata nilai tes peserta didik. Penelitian dilakukan selama lima bulan mulai dari April 2017 sampai dengan Agustus 2017. Data yang terkumpul di lakukan trianggulasi teknik untuk mengetahui keterkaitan dan kesepadanan data. Setelah itu data dianalisis menggunakan analisis miles interaktif menurut Miles Huberman. Hasil penelitiannya yaitu buku pelajaran yang digunakan kurang menarik karena banyak tulisan dan sedikit gambar yang memacu peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis; guru cenderung ceramah dan tanya jawab dalam proses pembelajaran; peserta didik dalam belajar cenderung menghafalkan daripada menguasai materi pelajaran; keterbatasan penggunaan media pembelajaran oleh guru materi pembelajaran menjadi abstrak bagi peserta didik padahal pembelajaran peserta didik sekolah dasar harus memperhatikan perkembangan cara berpikir peserta didik dari konkret ke abstrak. Inovasi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik sekolah dasar akan mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna. NEEDS ANALYSIS IN SOCIAL SCIENCE LEARNING AT PRIMARY SCHOOLThis study was aimed at exploring the obstacles and the needs in teaching social science at the primary school level. A descriptive approach method was used in this study. The data was obtained by observing the learning process, analyzing the teaching materials and media in learning, and analyzing the students’ test scores. The study was conducted for 5 months starting from April 2017 to August 2017. The collected data were examined by triangulation techniques to determine the relationship and comparability of the data. Data were then analyzed using the interactive-miles analysis according to Miles Huberman. The results show that the hand books were not interesting enough as there were too many theories but few pictures which would not encourage students to think critically; teachers tended to adopt a teacher-centered approach of teaching in which they dominated the class with their explanation and there were limited interactive sessions; the students tended to memorize more than master the theories; having limited teaching medias, the teachers made the learning process become abstract, while primary-school students needed to have activities which encouraged their way of thinking from concrete into abstract. An innovation which suits primary school students’ character is needed to create a meaningful learning process.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar, keterampilan, dan hasil belajar Mata Diklat Gambar Sketsa siswa kelas X Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Semen Padang dengan menerapkan model Project-based learning (PjBL). Penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Ada dua siklus yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan sehingga ada empat pertemuan untuk dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Teknik Mesin 1 di SMK Semen Padang dengan jumlah 20 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, tes objektif, dan rubrik. Lembar observasi digunakan untuk mengamati motivasi belajar, rubrik digunakan untuk menilai keterampilan, dan tes obyektif digunakan untuk menilai hasil belajar siswa. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar dan keterampilan siswa dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2 dalam Mata Diklat Gambar Sketsa dengan menerapkan model PjBL. Hasil belajar siswa juga sudah mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM).APPLICATION OF PROJECT-BASED LEARNING MODEL IN SKETCH DRAWING SUBJECTThis study was aimed at improving learning motivation, skills, and learning outcomes in the Sketch Drawing training course for students of tenth grade, Semen Padang Vocational High School by applying Project-based learning (PjBL) model. The study used Classroom Action Research (CAR). There were two cycles carried out in this study. Each cycle consists of two meetings, so there are four meetings for two cycles. The research subjects were 20 students of Class X Mechanical Engineering 1 at Semen Padang Vocational School. The research instruments used were observation sheets, objective tests, and rubrics. The observation sheets were used to observe motivation to learn, rubrics were used to assess skills, and objective tests were used to assess student learning outcomes. The data obtained then were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that there is an improvement in learning motivation and student skills from cycle 1 to cycle 2 in the Sketch Drawings by appying PBL model. Student learning outcomes have also reached the Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning (MCML).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar IPA berbasis Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Prosedur pengembangan meliputi dua tahap, yakni studi pendahuluan dan pengembangan prototipe. Subjek penelitian adalah lima orang guru dan 27 peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar untuk tahap ujicoba terbatas. Sampel untuk uji coba luas sebanyak 49 peserta didik dengan desain praeksperimental dan untuk uji efektivitas dengan desain quasi eksperimen sebanyak 43 peserta didik. Data kualitatif yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan kajian pustaka dianalisis dengan teknik interaktif model Miles dan Huberman untuk memperoleh deskripsi naratif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari tes belajar kognitif yang telah memenuhi kriteria validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data kuantitatif dilakukan dengan teknik paired dan independent t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa prototipe buku ajar IPA berbasis STM untuk tema sumber daya alam yang dikembangkan sudah layak menurut tinjauan ahli dan direspons baik oleh guru dan peserta didik. Penggunaan bahan ajar IPA berbasis STM secara signifikan mempengaruhi prestasi belajar peserta didik. DEVELOPING SCIENCE TEXTBOOK BASED ON SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY SOCIETYThis study was aimed at developing a science textbook based on Science Technology Society (STM) for primary school. The method used was research and development (RD). The development procedure included two stages, namely a preliminary study and prototype development. The research subjects were 5 teachers and 27 students in grade IV elementary school for the limited trial phase. The samples for the broad trial were 49 students with a pre-experimental design and for effectiveness tests with a quasi-experimental design were 43 students. Qualitative data obtained from interviews, observations and literature reviews were analyzed using the interactive techniques proposed in the Miles Huberman model to obtain narrative descriptions. The quantitative data obtained from cognitive learning tests have met the criteria of validity and reliability. The quantitative data analysis was performed using paired techniques and independent t-tests. The results show that the developed prototype of the STM-based science textbook for the theme of natural resources is appropriate according to expert reviews and responded to both by teachers and students. The use of STM-based science teaching materials significantly influences students' learning achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara individual dan simultan prestasi belajar akuntansi komputer, kompetensi pedagogik guru, lingkungan sekolah, dan praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa Program Keahlian Akuntansi SMK di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif kausal dengan sasaran siswa kelas XII Program Keahlian Akuntansi SMK Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Sampel sebanyak 207 siswa dipilih dari lima sekolah mewakili lima wilayah di Yogyakarta dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan metode analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar akuntansi komputer, kompetensi pedagogik guru, lingkungan sekolah, dan praktik kerja industri berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 47,9%. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja seorang siswa. Kesiapan kerja dapat dipengaruhi dan dibentuk oleh pengalaman. Faktor lingkungan yang dapat mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja yaitu lingkungan sekolah, kompetensi pedagogik guru yang mengajar dan keberhasilan mereka dalam praktik kerja industri.WORK READINESS OF ACCOUNTING PROGRAM STUDENTS AT VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLThis study was aimed at determining the influence of individual and simultaneous computer accounting learning achievement, teacher pedagogical competence, school environment and industrial work practices on work readiness of the students of vocational accounting expertise program in Yogyakarta. This study was a causal associative research, with the students of class XII in the Accounting Skills Program of Vocational School in Special Region of Yogyakarta in the academic year 2018/2019 as the research subject. The sample of 207 students were selected from five schools representing five regions in Yogyakarta using purposive sampling technique. Questionnaires and documentation were used as the data collection techniques. The data were then analyzed using the multiple regression analysis method. The results show that computer accounting learning achievement, teacher pedagogical competence, school environment and industrial work practices had a positive and significant effect on student work readiness with an effective contribution of 47.9%. Many factors affect a person’s work readiness. Work readiness can be influenced and shaped by the experience. Whereas environmental factors that can affect work readiness are the school environment, the pedagogical competence of the teachers and their success in industrial work practices.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengevaluasi implementasi kebijakan sistem zonasi dalam Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru di SMA Negeri di Kota Bima, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi, menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan model goal oriented yang dikembangkan oleh Tyler. Penelitian ini melibatkan semua sekolah yang ada di SMA Negeri Kota Bima. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama, respons semua kepala sekolah terhadap implementasi kebijakan sistem zonasi sangat positif dan implementasi kebijakan sistem zonasi melalui responden siswa, orang tua, dan guru tingkat keterlaksanaannya dalam kategori tinggi/baik. Kedua, beberapa faktor yang menghambat implementasi kebijakan sistem zonasi yaitu: minimnya sosialisasi, regulasi penetapan zona yang belum jelas, tidak sejalannya pembukaan pendaftaran siswa baru antara sekolah yang berada dalam naungan Disdikbud dengan sekolah yang berada dalam naungan Depag, penyebaran guru yang belum merata, dan kurangnya episentrum hukum yang tegas. Ketiga, tujuan yang dicapai dalam Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru yang ditinjau dari prestasi akademik siswa telah merata. POLICY EVALUATION OF THE ZONING SYSTEM IN NEW STUDENT ADMISSION AT HIGH SCHOOL LEVELThis study was aimed at evaluating the implementation of the zoning system policy in the new student admission procedure in State High Schools, Bima, West Nusa Tenggara. This study was an evaluation research, using a quantitative descriptive approach with a goal-oriented model developed by Tyler. This study involved all state high schools in Bima. The data were gathered using interviews and questionnaires. The results show that: first, the responses of all school principals to the implementation of the zoning system policies are positive and the implementation of the zoning system policies through student respondents, parents and teachers is in the high/good category. Second, several factors that hinder the implementation of the zoning system policies are lack of socialization, unclear zoning regulations, incompatible opening of new student registration between the schools within the Ministry of Education and Culture and Ministry of Religious Affairs auspices, uneven distribution of teachers, and lack of strict legal epicenters. Third, the goals of students’ academic achievement obtained in new student admissions have been evenly distributed.

Abstract

This study was aimed at determining and comparing the effectiveness of project-based learning and 5E learning cycle instructional models in improving the acquisition of new biological knowledge related to the human immune system. This quasi experiment study with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design was conducted in SMAN 1 and SMAN 8 Yogyakarta, Indonesia during the academic year 2018/2019. A cluster sampling technique was used to select 3 eleventh grade classes of natural science from each school. The criterion referenced essay test was used to measure the students’ learning achievements and the data collected were analyzed using SPSS version 23. The results show that both PjBL and 5E learning instructional models were effective to improve the students’ ability to acquire new biological knowledge related to the human immune system. PjBL model was more effective than 5E learning cycle model in improving the students’ ability to acquire new biological knowledge related to the human immune system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku ajar keterampilan menyimak berbasis pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning(CTL) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif pada Mata Kuliah Pengajaran Keterampilan Menyimak. Prosedur pengembangan produk penelitian ini berdasarkan model ADDIE (Analiyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation) dan dibatasi sampai pada tahap ketiga. Kegiatan analisis melalui dua tahap yaitu analisis masalah dan analisis kebutuhan. Validasi buku ajar dilakukan oleh ahli mata kuliah menyimak, ahli bahasa, dan ahli kegrafikaan. Kepraktisan buku ajar dilihat melalui pengisian angket kepada pengguna buku ajar yaitu dosen dan mahasiswa. Kefektifan buku ajar dilihat dari hasil aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Produk diujicobakan kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia di STKIP PGRI Sumbar dan Universitas Negeri Padang.Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa dinyatakan bahwa mahasiswa memerlukan sumber belajar yang dapat menunjang keterampilan menyimak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar keterampilan menyimak berbasis pendekatan CTL sudah memenuhi kriteria valid baik dari segi isi maupun konstruk, praktis dari segi kemudahan dan kesesuaian waktu serta efektif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHING SKILLS BASED ON CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNINGThis study was aimed at producing a valid, practical, and effective Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based Listening Skills textbook for the Listening Skills Teaching course. The procedure of developing this research product is based on the ADDIE model (Analiyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation) and limited to the third stage. Analysis activities through two stages, namely problem analysis and needs analysis. Validation of textbooks is conducted by listening subject experts, linguists and graphic experts. Practicality of textbooks is seen through filling out questionnaires to textbook users, namely lecturers and students. The effectiveness of textbooks is seen from the results of student activities and learning outcomes. The product was tested on students of the Indonesian Language Study Program at STKIP PGRI West Sumatra and Padang State University. Based on the analysis of student needs it is stated that students need learning resources that can support listening skills. The results showed that the listening skill textbook based on the CTL approach had fulfilled valid criteria both in terms of content and construct, practically in terms of ease and suitability of time and was effective in increasing student activity and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif fisika siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran problem-based learning dengan flipped classroom (PBLFC), model pembelajaran tradisonal dengan flipped classroom (PTFC), dan model pembelajaran tradisional dengan direct instruction (DI). Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi-experiment) dengan desain one way pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Sampel terdiri 86 siswa SMA yang terbagi dalam 3 kelas. Kelas eksperimen 1 menerapkan PBLFC, kelas eksperimen 2 dengan PTFC dan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran DI. Data kemampuan berpikir kreatif dikumpulkan dengan 15 butir soal esai dengan materi usaha dan energi, serta momentum dan impuls. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan ANAKOVA. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif fisika antara siswa yang belajar dengan PBLFC, PTFC, dan DI. Hasil Uji BNt (Beda Nyata terkecil) menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif fisika siswa yang belajar dengan PBLFC lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan PTFC dan DI. Pembelajaran aktif dengan flipped classroom perlu dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk mendorong kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. THE EFFECT OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING FLIPPED CLASSROOM TOWARDS PHYSICS CREATIVE-THINKING ABILITYThis study was aimed at describing the differences in the creative-thinking abilities of the students who learn physics using the problem-based learning model with flipped classroom (PBLFC), traditional learning model with flipped classroom (TLFC), and traditional learning models with direct instruction (TLDI). A quasi-experimental with a one-way pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design was used in this study. The sample consisted of 86 high school students divided into 3 classes. The experimental class 1 implemented PBLFC, experimental class 2 implemented TLFC, and the control class implemented TLDI learning. The data on the ability to think creatively were collected using 15 essay item tests with material on effort and energy, and momentum and impulses. The data then were analyzed by descriptive analysis and ANACOVA. The results of this study show that there are significant differences in the ability to think creatively between physics students who study with PBLFC, TLFC, and TLDI. Least Significant Difference (LSD) test results show that the creative thinking abilities of students who learn physics with PBLFC are higher than those with TLFC and TLDI. Active learning with flipped classroom needs to be developed in physics learning to encourage students' creative-thinking abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji perbedaan pengaruh Sport Education Model (SEM) atau model pendidikan olah raga menggunakan racquet sports antara siswa yang memiliki Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) tinggi dan siswa yang memiliki FMS rendah terhadap orientasi olahraga siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian eksperimen murni dengan posttest-only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa SMP sebanyak 174 orang dengan sampel sebanyak 40 orang menggunakan simple random sampling. Program ini meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu skill/tactical development, inter/intra team games with practices, dan postseason dengan menggunakan gabungan dari berbagai model pembelajaran, seperti direct instruction, cooperative, dan peer. Instrumen penelitian untuk FMS menggunakan tes FMS dan untuk orientasi olah raga menggunakan Sport Orientation Questionnaire (SOQ). Uji signifikansi dengan independent samples t-test. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh SEM pada siswa dengan FMS tinggi dan FMS rendah terhadap orientasi olah raga siswa SMP sehingga penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa SEM memberikan pengaruh terhadap orientasi olah raga siswa. Daya saing merupakan subskala yang paling berperan dalam orientasi olah raga siswa.SPORT EDUCATION MODEL WITH FUNDAMENTAL MOVEMENT SKILLSThis study was aimed at examining the differences in the effect of SEM using racquet sports between the students who have high FMS and students who have low FMS towards the sports orientation of junior high school. The method used in this study was the true experimental research method with posttest-only control group design. The population in this study consisted of 174 junior high school students with a sample of 40 people taken using the simple random sampling method. This program included three stages, namely skill/tactical development, inter/intra-team games with practices, and postseason by using a combination of various learning models, such as direct instruction, cooperative learning, and peer learning. The instruments for examining the FMS was an FMS test while for examining sports orientation was the Sport Orientation Questionnaire (SOQ). Independent samples t-test was used to test the significance. The results show that SEM had an influence on students' sports orientation. Competitiveness is the subscale that plays the most role in student sports orientation.
