Abstract

Students' awareness of disposing of waste in designated bins remains a challenge in creating a clean and healthy school environment. This study aims to design and develop an Arduino-based automatic smart trash bin equipped with a water dispenser reward system to encourage students to dispose of waste properly. The system uses a sensor to detect waste deposited into the bin, while the Arduino processes the input signal and activates a water pump to dispense drinking water automatically for a predetermined duration. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method, including needs analysis, hardware and software design, implementation, testing, and system evaluation. Testing was conducted at SMP Andalusia Kebasen by evaluating the accuracy of waste detection, dispenser response, and user feedback. The results showed that the proposed system operated according to the design with a high success rate in waste detection and dispenser activation. In addition to improving waste disposal practices, the system provided an interactive learning experience that encouraged students to develop greater discipline in maintaining environmental cleanliness. Therefore, the Arduino-based automatic smart trash bin integrated with a reward system has the potential to serve as an effective educational medium for fostering environmental awareness and responsible waste disposal behavior among junior high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to implement a Data Warehouse architecture and a Business Intelligence dashboard to analyze the electronic retail sales performance in Myanmar. Raw data sourced from the Electronic Retail Dataset (2020–2023) has high complexity and poor quality (dirty data). The methods used include building a data pipeline with PostgreSQL as a staging area, the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process using Pentaho Data Integration, Star Schema modeling, and interactive visualization using Tableau via a Virtual Datamart. The results show that the ETL process successfully cleaned data anomalies and produced an integrated schema. The resulting dashboard reveals strategic insights, such as the revenue dominance of "Laptop" products versus the high sales volume of "Desks", and the market's reliance on physical B2B channels. Furthermore, spatial disparities were identified, with Yangon and Bago serving as revenue centers, while other regions require strategic intervention. This implementation proves that the integration of Pentaho and Tableau can transform complex transactional data into visual information that effectively supports data-driven business decision-making.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital banking services in Indonesia has led to an increased adoption of mobile banking applications as the primary medium for financial transactions. Neobank, as one of the mobile banking applications with a high number of downloads, exhibits a discrepancy between usage intensity and user satisfaction, as reflected in its ratings and user reviews. Various user reviews indicate issues related to technical constraints, system accuracy, ease of use, and service timeliness. This condition highlights the importance of conducting a comprehensive evaluation of user satisfaction. This study aims to analyze user satisfaction with the Neobank application through the integration of sentiment analysis and multilabel classification based on the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) framework. The dataset consists of 10,392 user reviews collected from the Google Play Store and App Store. The research stages include text preprocessing, sentiment labeling using a pre-trained Indonesian RoBERTa Base Sentiment Classifier, and EUCS dimension labeling using a fuzzy string matching approach based on keywords. Subsequently, a multilabel classification model was developed using Logistic Regression with a One-vs-Rest (OVR) approach and TF-IDF features.The evaluation results on the test data demonstrate a precision of 0.940, a recall of 0.809, and an F1-score of 0.869 (macro average). The k-fold cross-validation results (k=5) indicate stable model performance, with the highest average F1-score achieved in the Ease of Use dimension (0.927). The model was then implemented into a web-based system to perform sentiment prediction, EUCS multilabel classification, and generate improvement recommendations using a Large Language Model (LLM).

Abstract

Manual booking and scheduling processes at the Arton Futsal court frequently result in double-booking issues, inaccurate schedules, and inefficiencies for customers who must check availability directly on-site. This study aims to design and implement a web-based reservation and scheduling information system for Arton Futsal to streamline business operations and improve customer convenience. The research utilizes a Project-Based Research (PBR) approach with mixed methods, applying the Waterfall development model using PHP and MySQL. The authentication and authorization flow of the system defines two distinct user levels with specific login access: Admin (manager) and Member (customer). System evaluation was conducted through Black Box Testing, and user friendliness was measured using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The results indicate that the developed system successfully automates court scheduling, minimizes data duplication or overlaps, and provides real-time information on field availability, thereby enhancing administrative efficiency and user satisfaction.

Abstract

The village government of Nazolu Alo'oa currently faces challenges in distributing public information and providing administrative services effectively due to the lack of an integrated digital platform. This study aims to design an enterprise architecture for a village website that serves as a public information media and an independent administrative service platform using the TOGAF ADM (Architecture Development Method) framework. This study applies a qualitative-descriptive approach with the scope of the design limited to the Preliminary Phase, Phase A (Architecture Vision), Phase B (Business Architecture), Phase C (Information Systems Architecture), and Phase D (Technology Architecture). The result of this research is a comprehensive blueprint for the village website design that aligns village administrative governance processes with information technology. The design includes modeling target business processes (to-be), relational data architecture (tables for residents, letters, and news), functional application components with multi-level access (Admin and Residents), and supporting technology infrastructure specifications. The blueprint generated in this study is ready to be used as a structured foundational guide in the development, implementation, and digitalization phase of public services in Nazolu Alo'oa Village.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the digital entertainment industry has increased user demand for content recommendation platforms that are more personal and relevant. However, most existing streaming platforms rely on watch history and ratings as recommendation parameters, without considering users' current emotional conditions. This research develops FLIX, a mood-based film and TV series recommendation web platform built using React 19, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Express.js, and PostgreSQL via Supabase, integrating TMDB API, GIPHY API, and Gemini AI API. The development process adopts the Scrum framework, carried out through three Sprints covering eleven product backlog items prioritized using the MoSCoW method. Data collection was conducted through literature study and interviews with five respondents. System design includes Use Case Diagram, navigation structure, and Entity Relationship Diagram. System testing was performed using the Black Box Testing method with Postman assistance, and the results show that all developed features function well in accordance with user needs. This research proves that the Scrum method is effective in developing the FLIX platform as a functional mood-based film and TV series recommendation system accessible via the web.

Abstract

Document management plays a key part in how government institutions run their administrative processes and information services, yet at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of East Java Province it was still handled through physical archives and digital files scattered across different locations, making retrieval slow and inconsistent. This study designs and develops a web-based document management information system using the Waterfall method, built with the Laravel framework and MySQL as the database. Development covered requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and Black Box Testing, resulting in a system that provides document management, category and document type management, document relationship management, publication, search, and usage statistics. Testing results showed that all functions worked according to the specified requirements, resolving the fragmentation that had previously slowed down the institution's document-handling process.

Abstract

Administrative services in Hiliserangkai Village are still managed manually, resulting in inefficient data processing and document administration. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Village Administrative Service Information System to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of public services. This research applied the Participatory Based Research (PBR) aproach by involving village officials and community representatives in identifying requirements, designing, implementing, and evaluating the system. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL, while functional testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method. The results indicate that the system successfully supports digital citizen data management, online certificate applications, application status tracking, and document approval and printing by village officials. Functional testing confirmed that all major features operated properly according to user requirements. The developed system is expected to improve administrative efficiency, accelerate document processing, and support more effective and transparent public services.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology encourages Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to utilize digital media as an effective platform for information dissemination and business promotion. Umbu Water Kasih Drinking Water Depot still relies on conventional promotional methods, limiting public access to information regarding its business profile, services, pricing, location, and contact details. This study aims to design and develop a web-based business profile website as a digital information and promotional medium to improve business visibility and facilitate customer access to business information. The research employed the Project-Based Research (PBR) approach with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The website was developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL and provides business profile information, service details, price lists, galleries, Google Maps integration, WhatsApp communication, and an administrator management page. System quality was evaluated using Black Box Testing to verify functional requirements and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to assess usability. The results indicate that the developed website successfully performs all intended functions and provides a more effective information and promotion medium than conventional methods. Furthermore, the website improves digital visibility, facilitates customer interaction, and supports the digital transformation of the business. Therefore, the developed website is feasible to be implemented as an information and digital promotion platform for Umbu Water Kasih Drinking Water Depot.

Abstract

Learning in the digital era requires students to have competencies relevant to the needs of the workplace. Observations at SMKN Jatirogo show that Object-Oriented Programming (Java) learning for class XI RPL is still dominated by independent practice without project-based learning, with an average daily test of only 42, far below the KKM of 80, so that students' computational thinking skills and programmer competencies have not developed optimally. This study aims to describe the steps for developing a Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS) using Project Based Learning (PjBL) that implements Computational Thinking, and to analyze the differences in programmer competency improvement between classes using LMS and conventional classes. The research method uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model and a quasi-experimental design, with class XI RPL 2 as the experimental class and XI RPL 3 as the control class. Data were analyzed using percentages for product feasibility, ANCOVA for cognitive learning outcomes, and Mann-Whitney U Test for psychomotor learning outcomes. The results showed that the LMS PEVA obtained 88% validity (very valid) with all system functions running well. ANCOVA test showed a significant cognitive difference (Sig. 0.020 < 0.05; F = 5.680), while the average posttest psychomotor of the experimental class (76.71) was higher than the control class (57.25) (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). These findings indicate that the Moodle-based LMS that integrates PjBL and Computational Thinking is feasible to use and effective in strengthening students' programmer competencies, especially in Java programming practice skills.
