Abstract

The problem in this research is how ‘Ashabiyah Ibn Khaldun and how’ ashabiyah Ibn Khaldun and its relevance to nationalism in Indonesia.The purpose of this research is to describe the concept of ‘Ashabiyah Ibn Khaldun  and  describes how  its relevance to Indonesian nationalism. The type of this research is library research and  the  method used  in this research is descriptive qualitative.  The  results  of this research are, first; ‘Ashabiyah is defined  by Ibn Khaldun  as social  solidarity. According to Ibn Khaldun  social  solidarity or a sense of class connected by blood  relation  or other  linkage  that has the same meaning and  purpose. This is because blood  ties have  a binding  force  in most  humans, which  makes them  feel the  pain  that  affects them.  Ashabiyya is a feeling of one  group  or social  solidarity, which  arises  naturally  in human life due  to a blood  relation  or revelation affinity. Such  feelings  of love give rise to a sense of destiny,  mutuality,  mutual loyalty, mutual  need, especially  when faced  with calamities or threats  of the  enemy, or to achieve certain goals. Then Ibn Khaldun argues  that it is impossible to create a state  without  the support  of a strong sense of unity and  solidarity. The process of its founding  requires a real struggle, a battle  of life and  death. Solidarity (‘asabiya)  is principally  co-operation and  please help  the  group  closely in such  a way that the  members  of each  group are not only assisting but willing to sacrifice  life for the common good. And this according to him is a natural  phenomenon for humans in the process of the establishment of the state. Second; The relevance or relationship between ‘Ashabiyah Ibn Khaldun/  social  solidarity  with  Indonesian nationalism in modern times  is, lies in its components. Which  in the ‘Ashabiyah, Ibn Khaldun  positioned the society  or nation  as a starting point to build a state, which  then in truth the community both have a high spirit to fight for the ideals of the nation and state. Because the goal of Indonesian nationalism itself is nothing but to arouse the sense of brotherhood / kinship in the Indonesian nation,  and always keep  the national  identity as a form of the love of the nation and the country.

Abstract

Coastal Society. In this paper, the author invites the reader to find out how the philosophy of bere secupak, fish sejerek, madar applies to the coastal communities of Bengkulu city. The problem in this research is what is the philosophical meaning of the expression bere secupak, fish sejerek madar? This research is included in the type of field research (field research) based on the data that appears in the form of words and not a series of numbers. The method used is descriptive qualitative method and the approach used in this research is the phenomenological approach. The application of this research method began with the preparation of research, the implementation of data collection and data analysis. Data collection was carried out by observative participatory, interview, and documentation. Data analysis in qualitative research generally starts from data collection, data reduction, concentration, abstracting and transformation of rough data that emerge from records in the field. Data display was performed using narrative text form, drawing conclusions, and verification. The results showed the essence of the philosophical meaning of the expression bere secupak, fish sejerek, madar symbolizing the character of Bengkulu people who have a high work ethic, are not lazy, have principles and are responsible. This philosophy also contains the meaning of simplicity, symbolizing the concept of gratitude, the concept of tawakal, and the concept of balance in order to reach the life of the world and the hereafter. As for the application of this philosophy there is still a dualism of meaning that develops in the community, people who think positively about this meaning, see more of the context implied in the philosophy. While those who think negatively about the philosophy tend to interpret the philosophy textually, so that people are fooled to the text of the expression rather than the meaning implied in the expression.

Abstract

Abstract: The philosophical meaning of “Madu Kulau” in the procession of Ceremonial Ceremony of Adat Serawai  in South  Bengkulu  Regency  can  be  concluded by the  Chairman of the  committee (tuau  kerjau) facing  the  adat  leader by bringing  forth  while  applying  for permission to  the  adat  chief.  After applying for permission to the  village head,  the  committee chairman (tuau  kerjau) faces  the  head of the  group from the  men  (tuau  mendah) by unifying the  two livers. Then convey  the  intent  and  purpose that will be deliberate to determine where the residence and place  of business for the bride after the marriage contract is implemented. Immediately mentions selected and  pre-determined gifts in honey  rasan  (musyawarah)10 days  before  the  wedding procession is held.  Chairman of the  entourage (old  mendah) responded to the  rasan  called  by the  chairman of the  committee by agreeing to the  selected rasan.  After determining the features selected by the women’s family. The chairman of the committee (seniu  kerjau) returns  to the village head to present his langguwai  again while giving the envelope containing the money  requirement for the traditional  chairman inaugurated the selected rasan  in honey  kulau.  The adat  chairman announces in front of the people present about  the agreement agreed upon  by both parties  and inaugurated it. Then the procession of honey I closed with prayer of salvation for the groom, family and audience to get the salvation from God’s grace.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out the food that is good to be consumed by every knowledge seeker / santri / student in studying. So that they can achieve success, usefulness and blessings from the knowledge they get. This research uses qualitative methods with library research techniques, the book Ta'limul Muta'alim by Imam Az-Zarnuji as the main source used by researchers. The results of this study, there are several foods that can strengthen and weaken the memorisation of knowledge claimants / students / students. Eating kundar (frankincense) mixed with honey, and eating 21 Red Grapes every morning before eating anything, drinking honey, milk and eating dates and often shaving the toothbrush are foods and behaviours that can strengthen the memory of knowledge claimants. Whereas eating wet coriander, eating sour apples, seeing people being beaten, reading writings in graves, passing through rows of camels, throwing live dandruff on the ground and cantuk (wounding on the head to relieve dizziness) in the nape of the neck. sour food, fatty food, and haram or syubhat food are foods that can weaken memorisation. The knowledge claimants/students/students are expected to avoid market food because market food is easily exposed to unclean and dirty, and far from remembering Allah, S.wt. and closer to neglecting Allah, Swt.Keywords: Food, Students, Islam and health, Ta'limul Muta'allim.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makanan yang baik dikonsumsi oleh setiap penuntut ilmu/ santri/ siswa dalam menuntut ilmu. Agar mereka dapat meraih kesuksesan, kemanfaatan dan keberkahan dari ilmu yang didapatnya. Penlitian ini menggunakan metode metode kualitatif dengan teknik library research, Kitab ta’limul muta’alim karangan Imam Az-Zarnuji sebagai sumber utama yang di gunakan oleh peneliti. Hasil penelitian ini, terdapat beberapa makanan yang dapat menguatkan dan melemahkan hafalan para penuntut ilmu/ santri/ siswa. Makan kundar (kemenyan) dicampur madu, dan makan 21 Anggur Merah setiap pagi sebelum makan apa-apa, minum madu, susu dan makan kurma dan sering bersiwak merupakan makan dan prilaku yag dapat menguatkan hafalan para penuntut ilmu. Sedangkan makan ketumbar basah, makan apel yang kecut, melihat orang yang dipacung, membaca tulisan di kuburan, melewati barisan unta, membuang ketombe hidup di tanah dan cantuk (melukai di bagian kepala untuk menghilangkan pusing) di bagian liang tengkuk. makanan asam, makanan berlemak, dan makanan haram atau syubhat merupakan makan yang dapat melemahkan hafalan. Para penuntut ilmu/ santri/ siswa diharapkan dapat menghidari maknan pasar hal itu dikarenakan makanan pasar mudah terkena najis dan kotor, dan jauh dari mengingat Allah, S.wt. dan lebih dekat melalaikan Allah, Swt Kata kunci: Makanan, Pelajar, Islam dan kesehatan,  Ta’limul Muta’allim.

Abstract

Abstract: Comparative Study of the Meaning of the Concept of the Earth, World, and Universe. Metaphysical problems in the field of philosophy are not only limited to general things such as existence, reality, or space-time alone, but there are other problems related to the conception of what humans say as reality that is in front of their eyes. The concepts of the earth, the world, and the universe are three popular concepts that refer to the set of everything that can be achieved by human knowledge. This research is a comparative study that tries to compare the three concepts and can try to analyze the relationship between the three from a philosophical point of view. The results show that the concept of the world is a concept that can refer to the other two concepts and has implications for each meaning. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with the method of collecting data through library research. The main sources used in this research come from various books and scientific articles that discuss the development of the meaning of each concept that will be studied in this research, namely the earth, the world, and the universe. To strengthen the philosophical analysis of these three concepts, various writings related to the latest philosophical thoughts that have to do with these three concepts will also be used. Permasalahan metafisik pada bidang filsafat tidak hanya dibatasi pada hal-hal general seperti keberadaan, realitas, atau ruang-waktu semata, melainkan terdapat permasalahan lain berkaitan dengan konsepsi pada apa yang manusia katakana sebagai realitas yang ada di depan mata. Konsep bumi, dunia, dan alam semesta merupakan tiga konsep popular yang merujuk pada himpunan segala sesuatu yang dapat dicapai oleh pengetahuan manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan studi komparatif yang berusaha membandingkan tiga konsep tersebut dapat mencoba menganalisis hubungan ketiganya melalui sudut pandang kefilsafatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep dunia merupakan konsep yang dapat merujuk kepada kedua konsep lainnya dan memiliki implikasi dari masing-masing pemaknaan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka. Sumber utama yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berasal dari berbagai buku dan artikel ilmiah yang membahas mengenai perkembangan makna dari masing-masing konsep yang akan dikaji pada penelitian ini, yakni bumi, dunia, dan alam semesta. Untuk memperkuat analisis filosofis dari ketigas konsep ini akan digunakan pula berbagai tulisan yang berkaitan dengan pemikiran filosofis terbaru yang memiliki sangkut paut dengan ketiga konsep tersebut. Abstract

Abstract: Violence in the name of religion over the past decades continues to rise. Not only conflict involving inter-religious,  but also occurs in internal  religious  communities that  exist in Indonesia. The recognition  of absolute truth (truth claims)  in the propagation of religion, or a unilateral claim to the most  correct opinion, assuming the other is wrong, in interpreting the sacred text of a religion is the seeds that at any moment can trigger the outbreak of the conflict. Awareness of nationality,  including  the reality of plurality, which  framed the  Unitary Republic  of Indonesia based on Pancasila continue to be  degraded in the  midst  of society  that can  no longer  be  a unifying pillar. The conditions there  should  be  a serious  concern by all parties  in order to reduce collisions  that occur  in the community because of their difference in value or the existing norms. Few people pay attention to this issue  is one  of them,  Abdurrahman Wahid.  As a former  NU chairman and former president, Abdurrahman Wahid, known  as the protector of minorities, as part of its implementation in maintaining freedom. It is interesting to know  what  you think Abdurrahman Wahid  on religious freedom. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach. The method in analyzing the data with descriptive analysis, a method that addresses the issue  by presenting findings from the research subjects to get a conclusion on the basis of theoretical studies that have been done  before.  Techniques of collecting  data is with the research literature, namely  the search for materials in the form of books, articles freelance or search the data by using the internet.  The results of this study show religious freedom offered Abdurrahman Wahid is a consciousness that  recognizes the  diversity of Muslims and  human diversity. Where  each  religion run sound  belief.  Islam as a religion of grace  lil Alamin applied  in real life, in which  every citizen has the right to show  their identity without  any discrimination of any party. Understanding the implications of Religious Freedom was  initiated by Abdurrahman Wahid  Dapa felt by religious communities in Indonesia today. When  religious people can coexist  harmoniously and peacefully. Even against marginalized religious groups  such  as Shiite, Ahamadiyah and Confucian.  Even Confucian  become a religion of its own in the era of its leadership and make the Lunar day as a national  holiday, as the implications of religious freedom that he woke  up.

Abstract

If the nature of the horizon above is observed, which also shows the sun, moon, stars and so on, so does the earth with all its contents in the form of humans, animals, plants and solid objects, a close relationship with the complicated balance that smoothes the arrangement between the various colors of nature and that strengthen each other’s circumstances. Everything is a sign and proof of the form of God Almighty. In addition to showing the existence of the Substance of Allah SWT also proves the oneness and to His Almighty created it. It seems not to be imagined at all in anyone’s mind that these objects occur without anyone creating as well as it is impossible to imagine that something created no one made it.

Abstract

Abstract: Epistemology of Fazlur Rahman in Understanding the Qur’an and Hadith. This article  examines the epistemology of Fazlur Rahman in understanding the Qur’an and  the hadith,  and  was  his thought  of the qur’an  and  hadith  relevance to the  modern era.  This research is a library research, using  a hermeneutic approach or historical-critical approach. The collected datas  are analyzed  in descriptive-analytic. The results showed; Firstly, epistemology of Fazlur Rahman in understanding the Qur’an and the hadith  is epistemology of Burhani,  this epistemology is based on observation and  experimentation which  is systematized with the operationalization of the methods of historical  criticism,  sistematic interpretation and refined  by the method of double movement. While the arguments reasoning used  in understanding the Qur’an and  the hadith  is a demonstrative argument, verification and exploratory with a historical approach, normative and philosophical. Secondly, epistemology of Fazlur Rahman has significant relevance to the development of qur’anic and hadith thought  in the  modern era,  mainly in the  aspect of development and  methodology system.  However,  with regard  to the evolution  of the sunna and  the hadith,  although it has defended his entity from the orientalist, Fazlur Rahman has  a conception of liberal and  dangerous, because he  doubted the  validity of most  of the traditions  of the  technical contained in the  books  of hadith,  he thought  that the  itsnad  does  not ensure the validity of the hadith, because itsnads  itself is emerging at the end of the first century  AH.

Abstract

Abstract: Ibn Rushd is one of the leading philosophers who sought to harmonize religion, philosophy, and science within the framework of Islamic teachings. He developed a synthesis between theology and science, based on philosophical and theological principles that emphasize reason as the primary means of interpreting revelation and the natural world. This study explores Ibn Rushd's contributions in integrating these three domains and examines the contemporary relevance of his ideas in uniting religion, philosophy, and science. Utilizing library research methods, data were collected from various sources including academic journals, scholarly articles, and books relevant to the theme. This study yielded several key findings. Among these is Ibn Rushd's assertion that reason is not only valid but also a necessary tool for understanding divine revelation and the workings of nature. This perspective offers a valuable paradigm for revitalizing scientific inquiry in Islamic educational settings. Furthermore, Ibn Rushd interprets Qur'anic verses to indicate that the universe was not created from absolute nothingness but from pre-existing matter. He believes that the Qur'an explicitly underscores the purposeful creation of nature for humanity, positioning humans as servants (khalifah) tasked with acquiring knowledge of the Creator's existence and oneness.Keywords: Ibn Rushd, Qur'an, Philosophy and Science.Abstrak : Ibnu Rusyd adalah salah satu filsuf terkemuka yang berusaha menyelaraskan agama, filsafat, dan sains dalam kerangka ajaran Islam. Dia mengembangkan sintesis antara teologi dan sains, didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip filosofis dan teologis yang menekankan akal sebagai sarana utama untuk menafsirkan wahyu dan dunia alami. Studi ini mengeksplorasi kontribusi Ibnu Rusyd dalam mengintegrasikan ketiga domain ini dan meneliti relevansi kontemporer dari ide-idenya dalam menyatukan agama, filsafat, dan sains. Dengan memanfaatkan metode penelitian perpustakaan, data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber termasuk jurnal akademik, artikel ilmiah, dan buku yang relevan dengan tema. Studi ini menghasilkan beberapa temuan utama. Di antaranya adalah pernyataan Ibnu Rusyd bahwa akal tidak hanya valid tetapi juga alat yang diperlukan untuk memahami wahyu ilahi dan cara kerja alam. Sudut pandang ini menawarkan paradigma yang berharga untuk merevitalisasi penyelidikan ilmiah dalam pengaturan pendidikan Islam. Selain itu, Ibnu Rusyd menafsirkan ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an menunjukkan bahwa alam semesta tidak diciptakan dari ketiadaan mutlak melainkan dari materi yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Dia percaya bahwa Al-Qur'an secara eksplisit menggarisbawahi penciptaan alam yang bertujuan bagi umat manusia, memposisikan manusia sebagai pelayan (khalifah) yang ditugaskan untuk memperoleh pengetahuan tentang keberadaan dan keesaan Sang Pencipta.Kata kunci : Ibnu Rusyd, Al Qur’an, Filsafat dan sains

Abstract

Abstract: The formulation of the problem of this research is how the role of religion in the country according to Ibn Khaldun. This type of research is library research and the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This study shows that Ibn Khaldun divided the role of religion into three types, namely: 1. Religion as a unifier, religion became an important role in social and political life, namely the unifying factor and community solider. If religion coexists with solidarity then it will contribute in realizing the integrity of political power.2. Religion as a driver of success, the state and power can stand without religion, but it is religion that brings the state and power towards a better direction. 3. Religion as the legitimacy of the political system, religion is used as a legal basis that must be obeyed in carrying out politics or government. According to Ibn Khaldun, a government based on religion is more important because he thinks that this kind of government is the best. Without religion group unity is only based on a sense of natural unity (Ashabiyah) that is formed due to the similarity of tribes or family relations. The nature of this natural unity is relatively fragile and a religious foundation is needed as a basis for the group's sense. This is mainly because religion is able to guarantee group morality, virtue, distance individual malignancies and be able to become an adhesive tool for identity that keeps them away from social conflict.
