Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between access to electricity and renewable energy on economic growth in Indonesia, using a quantitative descriptive approach. Time series data from 1985 to 2022 was sourced from World Development Indicators and Our World in Data. The Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) was used in this study after the existence of cointegration between variables was proven. The estimation results found that all independent variables have a positive and statistically significant relationship with economic growth, with the surprising finding that, in the long term, the impact of renewable energy (1.14%) is relatively greater than the impact of electricity access (0.29%) on economic growth. Going forward, the contribution of renewable energy to economic growth is predicted to increase in line with the SDG targets. Indonesia's energy sector reforms have had a significant impact in reducing the effects of climate change and freeing the country from fossil fuels.

Abstract

Nuggets are one of the protein ready-to-eat food products that are now trending and can be accepted by the public because they are more practical, economical, and easy to consume. One form of food processing that can increase the nutritional value of processed products is vegetable nuggets. Vegetable nuggets are healthy, high in fiber, and come from nature. Vegetables can be processed goods that not only increase their selling value but also fall into the category of ASUH products (safe, healthy, intact, and hygienic). This research analyze consumer preferences in purchasing decisions for Seoca Nugget products, an alternative to vegetable protein nuggets that utilize cassava, soybeans, and mushrooms as meat substitutes. The main focus of the study is to understand how product attributes such as packaging, price, size, nutritional information, brand, and ease of obtaining influence consumer decisions in purchasing Seoca Nugget. In addition, this study also identifies the priority order of attributes that are the basis for purchasing, the most dominant attributes in consumer preferences, and the main reasons consumers choose this product. The method used was qualitative descriptive through in-depth interviews with 4 informants. The results of the study show that the attributes of packaging, size, nutritional information and ease of obtaining are very important preferences for consumers to decide to buy Seoca. While price, and brand are not so important preferences in buying Seoca. Consumers' preference to buy Seoca as a protein alternative is getting stronger because the nutritional information obtained shows that the vegetable protein content in this product is almost equivalent to the protein content in chicken nuggets.

Abstract

Economic growth has long been a key indicator in measuring a country's progress. However, an excessive focus on gross domestic product (GDP) growth without considering aspects of equity and social welfare often results in social inequality and marginalization of vulnerable groups. Therefore, an inclusive economic approach is a strategic solution to balance economic growth and the improvement of social welfare in a sustainable manner. This research aims to examine how an inclusive economic approach can be applied as a comprehensive and equitable development strategy. Through literature studies and analysis of development policies in various countries, this study highlights the importance of integration between macroeconomic policies and social programs, such as strengthening the social security system, improving access to education and health, and creating equitable employment. The results show that countries that adopt an inclusive development approach tend to have stronger social resilience, sustained economic stability and higher levels of public satisfaction. Thus, a balance between growth and welfare is not only possible, but a prerequisite for achieving sustainable development. The study recommends the need for economic policy transformation that places people at the center of development and ensures the active participation of all groups in the economic process

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of digital payment system adoption on transaction efficiency among urban consumers in Indonesia. As digital technology increasingly penetrates the financial sector, particularly through e-wallets, QR code systems, and mobile banking, there is a growing need to assess how such tools enhance the effectiveness and convenience of daily consumer transactions. The research employed a quantitative approach using a structured questionnaire distributed to 120 respondents residing in urban areas. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS, including validity and reliability tests, normality testing, and simple linear regression. The results reveal a strong and statistically significant positive relationship between digital payment adoption and transaction efficiency. Respondents reported that digital payment systems improved transaction speed, reduced the need for physical cash, and offered better tracking of financial activities. The study confirms the relevance of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and provides insights for policymakers and fintech developers in promoting efficient, secure, and inclusive digital financial services.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of regional financial accounting systems in assessing and supporting the economic health of local governments. Using a quantitative approach with survey data collected from selected regional finance departments, the research investigates the relationship between accounting system effectiveness and key fiscal indicators, including local revenue performance, expenditure efficiency, and fiscal dependency. The findings reveal that regions with well-functioning, integrated accounting systems tend to demonstrate stronger fiscal performance and better financial planning. Additionally, the study highlights the strategic role of accounting information in supporting evidence-based policymaking and improving transparency and accountability. However, disparities in implementation, especially between urban and rural regions, remain a significant challenge due to gaps in technology infrastructure and human resources. The study concludes by emphasizing the need for institutional reform, leadership engagement, and capacity building to enhance the overall utility of financial accounting systems as a tool for sustainable regional development.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of digital marketing on the economic growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. With the increasing prevalence of digital platforms, MSMEs have begun to utilize social media, e-commerce, and online advertising to reach wider audiences, enhance brand visibility, and boost revenue. The research employs a quantitative approach using surveys distributed to MSME owners across various sectors, analyzing the relationship between digital marketing practices and business performance. The findings indicate a strong positive correlation between digital marketing intensity and business growth, particularly in terms of customer acquisition, revenue generation, and market expansion. However, the study also reveals challenges such as limited digital skills, infrastructure disparities, and algorithm changes that hinder optimal results. The research suggests that for MSMEs to fully capitalize on digital marketing, consistent effort, strategic planning, and digital literacy enhancement are essential. This study contributes to the understanding of digital marketing’s role in MSME development and offers recommendations for policy interventions and business strategies.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of international trade wars on the economic stability of developing countries, with a particular focus on the indirect consequences of the U.S.–China trade conflict between 2015 and 2023. Utilizing a quantitative-explanatory research design and panel data analysis covering selected developing countries, the research explores how trade tensions between global powers trigger macroeconomic instability in non-combatant nations. The results demonstrate that trade wars significantly influence key indicators such as GDP growth, inflation, exchange rate volatility, current account balances, and foreign direct investment inflows. The study finds that countries with a high dependency on exports to China or the U.S. are more exposed to economic disruptions, particularly if they lack strong institutional frameworks or macroeconomic buffers. Regional differences and economic structure also shaped the severity of the impacts. The findings highlight the importance of export diversification, institutional strengthening, and regional trade cooperation as strategies to mitigate external shocks. This research contributes to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence on third-party vulnerabilities in an increasingly fragmented global trade system.

Abstract

The digital content sector has emerged as one of the most dynamic components of Indonesia's creative economy, reflecting both economic potential and cultural innovation. Despite its rapid expansion, few studies have examined its quantitative impact on national economic indicators. This study aims to analyze the contribution of the digital content sector to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), while also identifying its development dynamics in terms of opportunities, challenges, and strategic policy directions. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining secondary quantitative data from 2019 to 2023 with qualitative insights gathered through interviews with stakeholders in government, industry, and academia. The findings show that the sector's contribution to the creative economy grew from 15.2% to 20.3%, with substantial increases in export value and employment. The results highlight the sector's growing importance in national economic development, driven by youth creativity and digital penetration. However, structural barriers such as limited access to funding, weak intellectual property enforcement, and digital infrastructure inequality persist. This study concludes that unlocking the sector's full potential requires coordinated policy efforts, including digital investment, local content promotion, and inclusive ecosystem support. The digital content industry thus stands as a strategic pillar for Indonesia's innovation-driven and culturally grounded economic future.
