Abstract

This study examines the influence of group guidance on reducing aggressive behavior among adolescent students, a psychosocial issue that frequently arises in school settings and adversely affects emotional stability, social adjustment, and academic performance. Using a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest design, the study involved 12 students identified as having high levels of aggression through purposive sampling. The aggression scale used consisted of 50 items, with 49 validated and a reliability coefficient of α = 0.975. The group guidance intervention was conducted in four structured sessions that focused on recognizing aggressive behavior, improving emotional regulation, developing empathy, and strengthening conflict-resolution skills. Results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test indicated a significant decline in aggressive behavior, with the mean score decreasing from 106.83 in the pretest to 84 in the posttest (p = 0.003 < 0.05). These findings demonstrate that group guidance is effective in reducing aggressive tendencies by enhancing students’ emotional awareness and their ability to respond positively in social interactions. The study concludes that group guidance can serve as a practical preventive intervention in schools to promote students' social competence and minimize aggressive behavior. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve numeracy skills through the use of number sticks in group B of the Baiturrahman Tanjung Islamic Kindergarten in the 2023/204 academic year for 15 children aged 5-6 years, consisting of 5 boys and 10 girls. The research method used was classroom action research (CAR), which was carried out and completed in two learning cycles. The data collection instruments used in this study were teacher activity observation sheets, child arithmetic activity observation sheets with 7 indicators, and child arithmetic skill development assessment sheets. The results of this study indicate that the arithmetic skills of children in Group B at Baiturrahman Tanjung Islamic Kindergarten improved with the use of number sticks. This was evident in the children's classical mastery scores in the pre-cycle, which were only 20%. After cycle I, the scores reached 46.6%, with 1 child achieving the BSB criterion, 6 children achieving the BSH criterion, and 8 other children not yet mastering the BB and MB criteria. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the children's classical mastery increased to 86.6%, with 7 children achieving the BSB criterion, 6 children achieving the BSH criterion, and the remaining 13.3% or 2 children achieving the MB criterion. Thus, of the 15 children in group B, 86.6% had achieved the Maximum Completion Criteria (KKM) set. In this study, it can be said that 80% of the predetermined success rate had been achieved. Abstract

Bullying is a form of violence that often occurs in schools and has a significant impact on the psychological condition of adolescents. This study aims to analyze the stress coping strategies used by adolescent victims of bullying and the role of social support in helping them overcome emotional pressure. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach involving two respondents who experienced verbal and physical bullying at SMK Negeri 1 Kotanopan, North Sumatra. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using Braun & Clarke's thematic analysis technique. The results showed that respondents used different coping strategies based on their subjective assessment of the situation. The first respondent used emotion-focused coping more because they felt unable to change the situation, while the second respondent tended to apply problem-focused coping by confronting the perpetrators and seeking help. Social support from guidance counselors, homeroom teachers, and peers proved to be a protective factor that strengthened the psychological resilience of victims. This study emphasizes the importance of whole-school approach-based school interventions to create a safe environment that supports the psychosocial recovery of students who are victims of bullying. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between online game use and aggressive behavior among 11th grade students at SMA Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan in the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used was quantitative correlational with purposive sampling techniques and involved 27 students who met the criteria for intensive online game use. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability, with Cronbach's Alpha values for each variable showing reliable categories. Analysis using Pearson's correlation yielded a value of r = –0.030 with a significance of 0.881, indicating that there was no significant relationship between online game use and aggressive behavior. These findings are not in line with a number of previous studies that show a significant influence of violent video games on adolescent aggression, suggesting that contextual factors such as school, type of game, and self-control may moderate this relationship. The implications of this study emphasize the need for schools to develop digital literacy programs, strengthen self-control, and provide psychological counseling to minimize the risk of aggressive behavior. Abstract

Early marriage remains a significant social phenomenon in Indonesia and has a significant impact on family dynamics. This study aims to analyze in depth the impact of early marriage on family harmony among young couples in Ranto Panjang Village, Muara Batang Gadis District. A qualitative approach using case study methods was used to understand the subjective experiences of couples who married early. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, naturalistic observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The results showed that early marriage was influenced by cultural factors, social pressure, and family economic conditions. The impact of early marriage is seen in emotional, psychological, social, and economic aspects, including stress, income instability, domestic conflict, and limitations in parenting and decision-making. However, family harmony can still be achieved through effective communication, extended family support, religious values, and role adaptation in the household. These findings confirm that family harmony in young couples is greatly influenced by the interaction between individual, social, and structural factors. This study makes an important contribution to efforts to prevent early marriage and strengthen families through educational interventions, counseling, and economic empowerment. Abstract

Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam praktik pembelajaran digital, khususnya dalam cara komunikasi pendidikan berlangsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran AI sebagai mediator komunikasi dalam proses pembelajaran melalui sintesis literatur ilmiah terindeks Scopus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan literature review dengan menganalisis 40 artikel ilmiah yang membahas pemanfaatan AI dalam pendidikan, termasuk AI generatif, educational chatbots, intelligent tutoring systems, pedagogical agents, dan social robots. Analisis dilakukan secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola peran AI dalam memediasi komunikasi pembelajaran.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI berperan sebagai mediator komunikasi melalui empat fungsi utama: (1) mediator dialog instruksional yang memfasilitasi interaksi dua arah dan scaffolding kognitif; (2) mediator umpan balik dan regulasi belajar yang menyediakan respons instan dan dialogis; (3) mediator komunikasi sosial dan kolaboratif yang mendukung interaksi kelompok serta pembelajaran inklusif; dan (4) mediator personalisasi komunikasi pembelajaran yang menyesuaikan gaya dan konten interaksi berdasarkan kebutuhan peserta didik. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa AI tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat bantu teknologi, tetapi sebagai aktor komunikatif non-manusia yang membentuk struktur, makna, dan dinamika komunikasi pedagogis. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan kajian komunikasi pendidikan dengan menawarkan perspektif konseptual tentang AI sebagai mediator komunikasi dalam pembelajaran. Implikasi praktisnya mencakup pentingnya desain pedagogis dan etis dalam integrasi AI agar peran mediasi komunikasi yang dijalankan AI selaras dengan tujuan dan nilai pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the influence of digital literacy and learning styles on the academic achievement of Gen Z students in Asahan Regency. Rapid developments in digital technology require students to have good digital literacy skills and appropriate learning styles in order to achieve optimal academic performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research population consisted of all Gen Z students in Asahan Regency, with a simple random sampling technique used. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of statistical programs. The results showed that digital literacy had a positive but insignificant effect on student academic achievement. In addition, learning style also has a positive and significant effect on student academic achievement. Simultaneously, digital literacy and learning style have a significant effect on the academic achievement of Gen Z students in Asahan Regency. This study is expected to be taken into consideration by educational institutions in improving student academic achievement through strengthening digital literacy and developing effective learning styles.   Keywords: Digital Literacy, Learning Style, Academic Achievement, Gen Z Students

Abstract

Abstract                            The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of AI Application Utilization and Learning Innovation on Student Academic Achievement in the Society 5.0 Era. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a population of students currently studying in Asahan Regency. The classical assumption tests used in this study were normality, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity tests. The regression test used in this study was multiple linear regression. The hypothesis tests used in this study were the F test, t test, and R2test. The results of this study show that simultaneously, the independent variables consisting of AI Application Utilization (X1), Learning Innovation (X2), have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable, namely Academic Achievement (Y).   Keywords: Academic Achievement; AI Application Utilization; Learning Innovation

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the implementation of experimental learning strategies in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning at UPTD SDN 267 Pincengpute. Experimental learning strategies are learning methods that emphasize students' direct experiences through experiments and observation activities to build in-depth understanding of concepts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method of analysis with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were teachers and students of grade V at UPTD SDN 267 Pincengpute. The results of the study show that the implementation of experimental learning strategies in PAI learning can increase students' activities, motivation, and understanding of learning materials. The stages of implementing experimental learning include planning, experiment implementation, observation, data analysis, and conclusion. The advantages of this strategy include improving students' critical thinking skills, creativity, and scientific skills. However, there are several limitations such as requiring longer time, adequate laboratory facilities, and teachers' readiness to design experiments that are in accordance with PAI materials. This study recommends the importance of improving teachers' competence in designing contextual experimental learning and improving learning support infrastructure. Abstract

ABSTRACT The effectiveness of teacher professional practice is highly dependent on the competence of the principal in carrying out managerial and instructional tasks, especially in implementing academic supervision programs. Teacher professionalism is essential to achieve educational goals and improve the quality of education. This study aims to examine the level of effectiveness of the implementation of collaborative-based academic supervision. This study uses a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study include school principals, teachers, and students. The validity of the data is ensured through triangulation techniques and in-depth observation. The findings show that collaborative academic supervision programs are very effective in improving teachers' professionalism in the teaching and learning process. Principals provide opportunities for teachers to develop a variety of instructional innovations, as teachers are one of the key determinants of the success of learning implementation. Academic supervision has proven to be very effective in improving teacher professionalism.
