KOMUNIKASI: Jurnal Komunikasi (E-ISSN: 2579-3292) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang memfasilitasi publikasi hasil penelitian, kajian konseptual, dan pengembangan keilmuan di bidang Ilmu Komunikasi. Jurnal ini berfungsi sebagai wahana akademik untuk mendokumentasikan serta menyebarluaskan gagasan, temuan riset, dan praktik komunikasi yang relevan dengan dinamika masyarakat lokal, nasional, maupun global. KOMUNIKASI: Jurnal Komunikasi diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika, dan terbit secara berkala dua kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Maret dan September. Jurnal ini menerapkan sistem akses terbuka (open access) sehingga seluruh artikel dapat diakses secara bebas oleh masyarakat luas. Jurnal ini telah terindeks di beberapa basis data ilmiah nasional dan internasional, antara lain SINTA, Google Scholar dan GARUDA. The 9/11 terrorism attack has become one of the issues covered specifically by the media. Terrorism stereotypes are closely related to Islam due to the prominence of news broadcast by the media. The media have a role in influencing public perceptions. Agenda setting and framing theory can explain that mass media has the ability to transfer two elements, namely awareness and information to the public agenda and its attention to issues that are only considered important by the mass media. The intensity of news about terrorism is broadcast more than in other spheres and the framing of terrorism is related to Islamic groups, thus affecting people's perceptions of labeling acts of terrorism that are identical to Islam. As well as using the functions of the media agenda, public agenda and policy agenda to analyze the role of the media in reviewing terrorism

Sebatik Island is located in the District of Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan, whose territory is divided into two parts. Part of the territory is the territory of Malaysia and part of it belongs to the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. In border areas, people who have dual citizenship can affect the character and lifestyle of the local community and have a negative impact on border area security and a sense of nationalism. Regional border education is a very important thing to pay attention to. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia implemented a strategy in overcoming these problems through the BRI Peduli CSR program, the CSR program strategy was implemented in the form of providing transportation facilities to Madrasah Tsanawiyah As'adiyah on the sebatik island of Nunukan, North Kalimantan. The purpose of this study is to describe PT BRI's Strategy in Supporting the Advancement of Education in Sebatik Island, Nunukan, and North Kalimantan. The methodology used is a qualitative methodology with a case study method through library research and observation data collection methods. The results showed that PT BRI's strategy through the BRI Peduli CSR program with the 3p concept, namely pro people, pro planet and pro profit Providing transportation facilities is very useful in helping students and students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah As'adiyah in traveling to school locations so that education can be carried out effectively. fluent and can print students or quality human resources

This study aims to provide an overview of the role of communication in relation to organizational behavior that occurs in the implementation of position repositioning activities in the Indonesian Design College. The role of communication in question shows the success of the leadership in the organization being able to form a structure within the organization with a communication style that is characterized as a liaison for every person in the organization so that there is no jealousy and gaps between the office holders. The role of communication is the object of study in this study which is part of organizational behavior in one of the important activities in the organization, namely position repositioning. Research conducted at the Indonesian Design College also shows the satisfaction of office holders when receiving positions assigned by the leadership as well as the motivation and performance of the organizational structure in carrying out their duties and functions in accordance with their abilities and competencies. The methodology used in this research is descriptive type research through a qualitative approach which is carried out through systematic, actual and accurate written descriptions containing facts and relationships with phenomena that occur with data collection techniques used through questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. . The conclusion of this research is the role of communication in organizational behavior shows success in the implementation of job repositioning activities in the organization through the communication process, implementation of internal communication and communication styles as well as identification of effective communication barriers that occur.

This research aims to describe the political communication of bilhikmah Datuk Kalampayan in the Banjar Sultanate and its relevance today in South Kalimantan. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation studies. The results showed that the political communication carried out by Sheikh Muhammad Arsyad al-Banjari known as Datuk Kalampayandi in the 18th century actually strengthened the theory of Mead's symbolic intracional communication in the 19th century, Secondly, Datuk Kalampayan's political communication model in the Banjar sultanate contributed to the discipline of communication; The political Communication Model carried out was: the Bilhikmah Political Communication Model, with characteristic values, including; Strengthening the firmness of faith as the foundation of life in society, nation and state. Competition between business actors is increasingly selective and requires a strong strategy in order to build company brand awareness which is one of the goal of Public Relations. One way of marketing that PR does use social media Instagram is called Marketing Public Relations. Skincare products in Indonesia are growing at home and abroad. One of the skin care products is Somethinc. Several efforts as a form of existence to increase brand awareness can be seen in marketing through social media run by the company in order to be able to compete with other brands. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of social media to increasing brand awareness. This research method uses quantitative methods with descriptive and causal research types. This research uses the Lemeshow formula and purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The data analysis of this research used SPSS with 16 statements from both variables. The data obtained states that are aged above 15 years old, and know about skincare Somethinc. The results of this study indicate that the Instagram social media variable has a positively affect on increasing brand awareness of the Somethinc skincare brand on Instagram social media users. Instagram social media is effectively used to increase brand awareness of Somethinc skin care products

This article considers how communication is very capable and changeable in nation’s culture. Breathtakingly, this phenomenon was afflicted in metropolitan community in Jakarta as a result of globalization which is spread to all civilizations of nations in the world. The differences in perception of each individual equally obtain stimulate can occur in their interaction, the freedom of individual is to interpret the existing situation makes this research is needed due to the subject is interaction’s people based on perspective of symbolic interaction. The result have shown the drug users in Jakarta created a new communication symbols to disguise the terms of drugs in their social environment into the domain of the community. Moreover, youth groups with a very complex social life and inquisitive who wants to try a new thing and imitate easily in part of the foreign culture such as drugs is grow up rapidly. Studi tentang kekerasan simbolik terhadap ibu yang memiliki multi peran telah dilakukan di berbagai negara. Namun, studi tersebut berfokus pada individu. Penelitian memberikan kebaruan dengan mengakaji komunitas ibu-mahasiwa untuk mengetahui bagaimana dominasi budaya patriarki membentuk kekerasan simbolik pada ibu-mahasiswa yang terdapat pada komunitas PhdMamaIndonesia yang merupakan komunitas terbesar ibu-mahasiswa di Indonesia. Paradigma penelitian ini adalah konstruktivisme dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan strategi penelitian etnografi digital. Peneliti menggunakan metode observasi non partisipan dan studi dokumen. Observasi non partisipan dilakukan dengan memantau media digital phdmamaindonesia. Sementara studi dokumen dilakukan dengan membaca teks pada media digital phdmamaindonesia. Unit analisis adalah blog, Instagram, dan Youtube phdmamaindonesia. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan studi dokumen, peneliti mengamati kapital yang ditampilkan ibu-mahasiswa dalam komunitas phdmamaindonesia, yaitu kapital budaya, kapital sosial, kapital simbolik dan kapital ekonomi. Namun dengan kapital yang dimilikinya ini, ibu-mahasiswa masih menghadapi kekerasan simbolik hasil dari dominasi patriarki di arena yang dihadapi. Tulisan ini menganalisis resepsi budaya populer Korean Pop atau KPop yang mana berdampak pada gaya hidup diaspora Indonesi di Penang. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatitf dengan pendekatan interpretatif. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana penerimaan budaya KPOP mampu mempangaruhi gaya hidup mereka dengan menggunakan analisis resepsi sebagai alat dalam penelitian ini. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan jika konsumsi konten yang secara terus – menerus mempengaruhi gaya hidup mereka, khususnya dalam hal pakaian dan hidup sehat. Selain itu juga menemukan bahwasannya dari kesepuluh responden yang di wawancara, mereka setengah diantaranya termasuk kedalam dominant hegemonic dan sisanya negotiated code. Penelitian ini tidak menemukan koresponden yang berada di posisi oppossional code.

Dana Syariah adalah sebuah perusahaan investasi peer to peer lending yang mem-positioning-kan diri sebagai produk syariah. Sementara itu RWE Digital Agency adalah agensi digital yang mengelola promosi Dana Syariah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi kreatif pesan Dana Syariah sebagai produk baru investasi syariah. Penelitian ini mengambil satu platform digital yakni Instagram sebagai platform yang digunakan oleh RWE Digital Agency dalam mempromosikan produk Dana Syariah. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus melalui wawancara dan penelusuran dokumen. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa dalam promosi menggunakan Instagram memiliki 3 pilar utama yakni Content Strategist, Social Media Officer, dan Monitoring and Report. Strategi kreatif dilakukan di level content strategist. Kedua, pesan P2P Landing Dana Syariah syariah mengedepankan nilai-nilai Islami populer untuk mendapatkan perhatian target. Ketiga, pada promosi digital perubahan strategi kreatif bisa terjadi ditengah jalan jika tidak sesuai dengan target yang diharapkan

Film adalah media perantara komunikasi massa yang seringkali digunakan sebagai media untuk mendeskripsikan kehiduapan sosial masyarakat. Di era 4.0 industry perfilman semakin berkembang pesat, salah satunya yaitu film yang mengandung unsur satire. Para produsen film berlomba-lomba menyampaikan makna film berupa sindiran kepada para politikus hingga pengusaha melalaui perantara satire. Salah satunya yaitu film karya sutradara bong joon ho asal Korea Selatan yang berjudul Okja. Satire yang ditunjukkan di film ini bukan menyinggung soal politik dan pemerintah melainkan melawan kapitalisme pemilik perusahaan daging yang memproduksi babi hasil rekayasa genetika dan berupaya memperoleh laba besar tanpa memerdulikan dampak lingkungan yang terjadi. Peneliti melihat makna dan pesan yang tersembunyi melalui perantara satire yang akan disampaikan dari film Okja, dengan menggunakan teori semiotika John Fiske yang membagi tanda ke dalam tiga level yaitu level realitas, level representasi dan level ideologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif analisis deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian disini yaitu untuk menjelaskan film Okja sebagai media penyampaian kritik sosial budaya kapitalisme melalui perantara satire kepada khalayak luas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah mengungkapkan pesan film Okja melalui satire untuk memberi kritikan dan sindiran keras kepada pengusaha kapitalis yang serakah dalam mencapai tujuannya.
