Abstract

Since 2021, service standards for pregnant women have been aligned with guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), which recommend six antenatal visits during pregnancy—two in the first trimester, one in the second trimester, and three in the third trimester. This provision has been regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 21 of 2021 concerning Health. This study aims to obtain a preliminary picture of the level of compliance of pregnant women in conducting pregnancy examination visits (Antenatal Care/ANC) in the working area of the Majalaya Health Center, Bandung Regency. This research used a descriptive method to describe the frequency distribution of compliance with ANC visits by pregnant women at the Majalaya Health Center. Based on the findings, the majority of pregnant women have not complied with the ANC visit schedule according to the recommended standards, with 31 respondents (58.5%) categorized as non-compliant. In terms of demographic characteristics, most respondents were in the age range of 20–35 years (49 respondents or 92.5%), had a secondary level of education (30 respondents or 56.6%), and had multigravida status (34 respondents or 64.2%). The level of compliance with ANC visits at the Majalaya Health Center is still relatively low, with more than half of the pregnant women failing to meet the standard number of visits. These findings suggest the need for targeted interventions to raise awareness of the importance of regular ANC visits for maternal and fetal health. Increasing education about the benefits of ANC, improving access to health facilities, and strengthening health workers’ roles in providing counseling could help enhance compliance rates. Furthermore, collaborative efforts between healthcare providers, families, and communities are essential to ensure that pregnant women receive optimal monitoring and care throughout their pregnancy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of location, product variety, and brand image on savings customer loyalty at the Head Office of PT. BPR Jwalita Trenggalek Perseroda. Customer loyalty is a crucial factor for the sustainability of a banking institution, as loyal customers not only continue to use banking services but also tend to recommend them to others, thereby contributing to long-term growth. The variables examined in this study—location, product variety, and brand image—were chosen because they represent essential aspects that can strengthen the relationship between customers and the bank. This research employed a quantitative approach to ensure objectivity in data collection and analysis. The primary data were gathered through observation, interviews, and structured questionnaires distributed to savings customers of the bank, while secondary data were obtained through a literature review. The analytical techniques applied included validity and reliability testing to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the instruments, classical assumption tests to meet regression requirements, and multiple linear regression analysis to measure the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable. Furthermore, hypothesis testing was conducted using the t-test and F-test, complemented by the coefficient of determination to measure the explanatory power of the model. The findings reveal that: (1) location has a significant effect on customer loyalty, indicating that accessibility and convenience play a vital role in customer decisions to remain loyal; (2) product variety significantly influences customer loyalty, demonstrating that diverse and innovative savings products attract and retain customers; and (3) brand image also has a significant effect on customer loyalty, suggesting that trust and positive perceptions toward the bank strengthen long-term relationships. Finally, the study confirms that location, product variety, and brand image simultaneously exert a significant effect on customer loyalty. These results underscore the importance for banking institutions to continuously improve service accessibility, diversify financial products, and build a strong brand image in order to enhance customer loyalty and maintain competitiveness in the financial services industry.

Abstract

Maternal emergencies remain a significant public health concern and are one of the main contributors to the persistently high maternal mortality rate in Indonesia. Early detection of pregnancy-related complications is essential to reducing these risks, and one effective approach is by strengthening maternal health literacy. The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Handbook plays a vital role in this process as it functions both as an educational medium and as a comprehensive health record for mothers, covering the continuum of care from pregnancy, delivery, to the postpartum period. This study was conducted with the objective of analyzing factors associated with maternal emergencies, particularly focusing on the level of understanding and utilization of the MCH Handbook among postpartum mothers. A case-control study design was applied, involving a total of 80 respondents, with 40 assigned to the case group and 40 to the control group. The participants were randomly selected from Sarimahi Village. Data collection was carried out using structured questionnaires, and statistical analysis was performed employing the Chi-Square test. The findings of the study revealed a significant association between the level of understanding of the MCH Handbook and the occurrence of maternal emergencies (p = 0.001). Similarly, a significant relationship was observed between the level of utilization of the MCH Handbook and maternal emergencies (p = 0.002). Additional factors identified as contributing to maternal emergencies included maternal age, education level, parity, pregnancy interval, and a history of complications in previous pregnancies. The study concludes that a higher level of understanding and active utilization of the MCH Handbook play an essential role in preventing maternal emergencies. Therefore, efforts to improve maternal health literacy through the optimized and consistent use of the MCH Handbook should be actively promoted and strengthened within community health programs.

Abstract

Posyandu lansia is a community-based health service effort aimed at improving the quality of life for the elderly thru regular health monitoring. However, the utilization rate of posyandu is still influenced by various factors, including family support. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and the level of utilization of elderly health posts in the Mongeudong Health Center Work Area, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City in 2025. This study uses a descriptive analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of all elderly individuals registered at the elderly health post, totaling 22 people. A sample of 22 respondents was selected using the total sampling technique. The research instruments are a family support questionnaire and a questionnaire on the utilization of elderly Posyandu. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods with the Chi-Square test at a significance level of α = 0.05. The research results show that out of 21 respondents with family support, 16 people (33.3%) actively utilize the Posyandu. Conversely, out of 27 respondents without family support, 21 people (43.8%) are passive. Statistical tests show a ρ value of 0.001 < α (0.05), which means there is a significant relationship between family support and the utilization of elderly health posts. There is a significant relationship between family support and the level of utilization of elderly Posyandu. Elderly individuals with good family support tend to be more active in participating in Posyandu activities. It is recommended that families play a more active role in accompanying the elderly, and that community health centers strengthen family education programs to increase participation in Posyandu.

Abstract

vitiligo is a disease characterized by the selective loss of melanocytes, resulting in non-scaly chalk-white macules. There is no hypothesis that can clearly explain the scientific cause of vitiligo. However, some studies have indicated that stress and emotional pressure factors, such as anxiety, may contribute to the development or exacerbation of this condition.  Research Objective: this study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between depression and vitiligo, whether there is a relationship between anxiety and vitiligo, whether there is a relationship between smoking and vitiligo, and whether there is a relationship between depression and anxiety with vitiligo. Method: analytical observational research using a cross-sectional method is the research design employed. Purposive sampling is used to select the population based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in 53 responses. This study was conducted by interviewing patients using the Beck Depression Inventory and Beck Anxiety Inventory questionnaires, assisted by the researcher. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis. Results: findings indicate that the significance value of Pearson chi-square is 0.001 < 0.05, meaning there is a significant relationship between depression and vitiligo. There is a significant relationship between anxiety and vitiligo with a significance value of Pearson chi-square 0.003 < 0.05. Simultaneously, depression and anxiety have a significant relationship with vitiligo. Conclusion: from the research results, it can be concluded that 30% of depression and anxiety can be the cause of vitiligo occurrences. Based on these conclusions, the suggestion that can be used as a consideration is that this research can be used as a basis for further research that links risk factors with the severity of vitiligo.
