Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif Matematika pada materi Pecahan dan Bilangan Desimal. Subjek penelitian adalah 16 peserta didik kelas VI SDN 97/II Muara Bungo. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan model PBL tergolong sangat baik. Penerapan PBL juga berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar. Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 62,25% (kategori cukup), meningkat menjadi 87,15% (kategori sangat baik) pada siklus II. Penerapan model PBL mampu meningkatkan keaktifan dan fokus peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran, yang berdampak pada peningkatan nilai dan ketuntasan belajar. Dengan demikian, model PBL efektif diterapkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya pada materi Pecahan dan Bilangan Desimal.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low academic achievement of fifth-grade elementary school students in the subject of Science and Social Studies (IPAS). The primary aim of this research was to examine the effect of the Scramble learning model on students' learning outcomes after its implementation in the classroom. A quantitative approach was employed, using a Pre-Experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research subjects consisted of all fifth-grade students at SDN 196/II Taman Agung. Data were collected through testing, and analyzed using prerequisite tests (normality test) and final data analysis through a paired sample t-test. The results of the normality test indicated that both pretest and posttest data were normally distributed, with significance values of 0.674 and 0.407, respectively. The hypothesis test using the paired sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. These findings suggest that the Scramble learning model has a significant effect on improving the IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SDN 197/II Pulau Pekan, specifically in second grade. The background was difficulties in students' numeracy skills, and educators had not used learning media effectively. The arithmetic teaching aids used were limited to manual learning. Students appeared confused and struggled with calculations. The low student learning scores indicated that students were unable to learn to count using only their hands. It would be beneficial to provide learning media such as the Smart Bottle Cup. This research was a Research and Development (R&D) study using the Borg and Gall method, designed to assist learning media developers in creating appropriate products for educational needs. The results of the Smart Bottle Cup learning media study indicated its suitability for use as a learning tool in elementary schools. This was demonstrated by the validity assessments of experts (validators) consisting of material experts (80%), media experts (85%), language experts (80%), and instrument experts (80%). Practical results from three students and three teachers were used to determine the product's practicality. The results of the practicality questionnaire showed an average percentage of over 90%, which is considered very practical. This indicates that the Smart Bottle Cup learning media is valid and practical to use because it is easy to use, engaging, useful, and can support classroom learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of engagement and collaboration between students, leading to a tendency for students to be less active and quickly become bored. Therefore, a learning model that can improve student learning processes and outcomes is the Role-Playing model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Role-Playing model in improving learning processes and outcomes in fifth-grade science subjects at SDN 27/II Sungai Arang. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 20 fifth-grade students at SDN 27/II Sungai Arang. Data collection techniques included observation, testing, and documentation. Data collection instruments used observation sheets from educators and students, along with test questions, were then compiled through qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study demonstrate the learning processes and outcomes of fifth-grade science subjects at SDN 27/II Sungai Arang. The detailed results of educator observations in Cycle I were 78%, categorized as good, and in Cycle II, 90.5%, categorized as very good. Student observations in Cycle I were 50%, categorized as poor, and in Cycle II, 97.5%, categorized as very good. Student learning outcomes in Cycle I were 65%, categorized as sufficient, and in Cycle II, 86%, categorized as very good. It was concluded that the use of the Role-Playing model can improve the process and outcomes of social studies learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Dorongannya muncul dari proporsi peserta didik yang signifikan yang gagal memenuhi standar kompetensi minimum (KKTP) dan ketidak cukupan model pedagogi yang sesuai yang digunakan oleh para pendidik. Pelaksanaan model inside-outside-circle (IOC) diantisipasi untuk memfasilitasi peningkatan baik dalam proses pembelajaran maupun hasil belajar peserta didik. Pernyataan ini didukung oleh proses dan hasil belajar yang diamati yang tercatat selama Siklus I dan II. Pada fase pra-siklus, skor kelas rata-rata hanya 65,37%, dengan hanya 10 peserta didik yang berhasil menyelesaikan tujuan pembelajaran. Pada sesi awal penelitian, peserta didik mencapai tingkat kinerja 0%, sedangkan Siklus II mencerminkan peningkatan yang signifikan menjadi 74%. Pada pertemuan pertama Siklus II, pencapaian yang luar biasa sebesar 96% tercatat, yang berpuncak pada pencapaian sempurna 100% pada pertemuan berikutnya. Hasil belajar peserta didik pada Siklus I, yang difasilitasi oleh penerapan model lingkaran dalam dan lingkaran luar (IOC), menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan sebesar 67%. Pada siklus kedua, persentasenya meningkat menjadi 99%. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Inside-Outside-Circle (IOC) secara signifikan meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam disiplin matematika.
