Abstract

This article describes the construction of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) during the Covid-19 pandemic. Restrictions on community activities to break the Covid-19 chain have fundamentally changed the education system in Indonesia. The implementation of learning that was originally carried out face-to-face is now carried out online or virtually. With this change in learning, PAI must adapt to the change itself, so that the purpose of education is to create students who believe and fear God Almighty who have a noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become democratic citizens. and responsibility can be realized. Using the Study Literature Review research method or library research, this article describes the construction of education in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The theories and concepts used are learning methods in the Covid-19 era. During the pandemic, learning models and methods in Indonesia generally use Blended Learning and e-Learning. The use of these two learning models is inseparable from the dynamics of government policies related to handling Covid-19. The results of the research found that the learning model that has the potential to be reconstructed in PAI is the blended learning method or model. The blended learning method is used to describe the problems of e-Learning, namely the problem of teachers and the limitations of the internet network. The Blended Learning model is a combination of offline learning methods (face-to-face, etc.) with online learning methods (e-learning).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the al-Qur'an Tahfiz Assessment Model and the effectiveness of its implementation. This case study research was conducted in three elementary schools that have a Holy Scripture memorization program. The data sources for this research were school principals, curricula deputy heads, tahfiz program coordinators, tahfiz teachers, students, and students' families. Data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation techniques and analyzed using a descriptive interpretative model proposed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, involving data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study show the following: (1) There are three models of memorization assessment used in all these schools, namely assessment based on type, period and achievement results. (2) There are 3 aspects of similarity in the assessment model applied, namely based on type, period and results. The difference is in the implementation where each has standards including a) aspects assessed; b) valuation techniques; c) assessment time; d) target assessment; and e) tone standards. (3) The assessment model is measured from the psychological effectiveness of the students, the spiritual of the students is effective, and the result of the most effective memorization is tasmi' bil ghoib because it is thorough and traceable. The conclusion that can be drawn from these findings is that the tasmi' bil ghoib assessment model is very effective for application in elementary schools because this method takes into account the psychological and spiritual factors of students so that the student's memorization results are fairly even and the memorization results are maximized.

Abstract

This study aims to produce wasatiyah (religious moderation) measurement instruments that are valid, reliable, and meet the criteria for the goodness of fit statistics based on theoretical constructs to formulate dimensions, aspects, and indicators. Wasatiyah is measured by 4 (four) dimensions, including the nationality dimension, Islamic dimension, tolerance dimension, and anti-violence dimension. Each dimension consists of 2 (two) aspects, thus there are 8 (eight) aspects and a total of 25 (twenty-five) indicators. The research subjects were 286 (two hundred and eighty-six) people for instrument 1 and 250 (two hundred and fifty) people for instrument 2. They were educators and education staff of Islamic integrated schools that are members of the Indonesian Islamic Integrated School Network (Jaringan Sekolah Islam Terpadu, JSIT). This research uses mixed methods, namely qualitative methods with a literature study approach and quantitative methods through field trials with measurement methods. In its analysis, the research used LISREL 8.8 application through reflective construction based on confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Based on the confirmatory factor analysis, the wasatiyah construct is valid, reliable, and fit as a model. Each dimension, aspect, and indicator can reflect and shape the wasatiyah construct both on instrument 1 and instrument 2. Therefore, the measurement model of the wasatiyah theoretical construct can be accepted according to empirical data obtained from field tests. As the Ministry of Religion's program to develop moderate Islamic understanding in the nation needs to be supported by clear measurement tools, the wasatiyah measurement instruments are expected to avoid political prejudice. Wasatiyah must be defined honestly, not based on momentary political interests. It is hoped that the wasatiyah measurement instruments can be used by any institution, especially formal educational institutions, to assess the wasatiyah level of their employees, teachers, or staff. In addition, it can also be used by other Muslim communities such as youth of mosques, hijrah communities, and so on.

Abstract

The existence of the Special Region of Yogyakarta as a city of students, culture, and tourism holds diversity both ethnically, culturally, and religiously; therefore, the Special Region of Yogyakarta is called the city of tolerance. The plurality of the Special Region of Yogyakarta may give rise to conflicts and divisions, including inter-religious conflicts if they are not appropriately managed. One of the successes of developing religious harmony can be assessed by looking at the most basic indicators of harmony at the national and regional levels. This study aims to measure inter-religious harmony in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Variables that become measuring instruments have three dimensions: tolerance, dimensions, and dimensions of cooperation. The study used quantitative methods with a total sample of 400 respondents spread across Yogyakarta City, Bantul Regency, Kulon Progo Regency, and Gunung Kidul Regency. The research findings show that the index of inter-religious harmony in the Special Region of Yogyakarta is 78.90, or in the high level of religious harmony category. For this reason, maintenance must continue improving to achieve a harmonious, harmonious, and harmonious religious life. Although, in general, it is in a high category, there are still sub-dimensions that need special attention, namely caring for the construction of other places of worship and being president or regional head regardless of religion.
