Abstract

The problem of moral degradation among students provides a blurry portrait of the world of education. This study aims to reveal the implementation of Akidah Akhlak teachers in terms of Thomas Lickona's theory of morality in order to form student character based on Islam Rahmatan lil Alamin (ISRA) values at MTs Darussalam Kademangan. This research used is a qualitative approach with a case study type. In collecting data, researchers used observation, in-depth interviews and documentation methods. The results showed that the implementation of Akidah Akhlak teachers to shape student character based on ISRA values is divided into two, namely (1) in the classroom, the teacher runs the teaching module to the maximum, provides moral understanding, develops students' emotions, and provides a forum for real action about ISRA values. (2) outside the classroom, teachers act as role models and are sensitive to students when they need reprimands, advice or motivation.

Abstract

His research aims to describe competitive strengths, competitive areas, and Competitive results in improving the competitiveness and marketing of Islamic education services. The urgency of this research is that a deep understanding and implementation of appropriate strategies in competitive strength, competitive area, and Competitive Result can optimize the competitiveness and marketing of Islamic education services. This type of research is categorized as library research using a descriptive-qualitative approach to examine competitive strength, competitive area, and Competitive Result as strategies to optimize the competitiveness and marketing of Islamic education services. Competitive strength includes various factors that play a role in influencing competitiveness. One important aspect is the quality of education. Educational institutions that provide a relevant curriculum, have qualified teachers, and use effective teaching methods have an advantage in providing an optimal learning experience for students. Competitive areas include specific market segments or the overall market that an educational institution targets. It is important to accurately identify and understand these competitive areas in order to effectively direct the marketing and development strategies of educational institutions. Competitive Results in the context of Islamic educational institutions include the achievements and outcomes that are sought to improve their competitiveness. The strategic objectives of competitive outcomes are to achieve competitive advantage, drive growth, and ensure long-term success for the institution..

Abstract

This study discusses "The Communication Strategy of Kyai Agus Ma’arif in the Socialization of Islamic Teachings to Santri Penyandang ODGJ in Padepokan Tahfidzul Qur’an Ibnu Rusydi Jombang." The aim of this research is to understand how the communication strategy process works. Agus Ma’arif, How to Socialize Islamic Teachings to the Sanhedrin of ODGJ In this research, it uses a type of qualitative research, that is, it dissects the data that has been obtained. As for the key information and the main subject of this research, it is the Communication strategy and Ma’arif. Data collection techniques are used, starting with observations, then conducting interviews, and continuing with documentation. The technical analysis of data in this study was done by means of reduction of data, presentation of data, and drawing conclusions, as well as supplemented with verification of the validity of the data. The results of the research showed that the Communication Strategy of Kyai Agus Ma’arif in the Socialization of Islamic Teachings to Santri Penyandang ODGJ in Padepokan Tahfidzul Qur’an Ibnu Rusydi Jombang went well. Kyai Agus Ma'arif's communication strategy is with all individual approaches and moral approaches because the background of extraordinary santri is a santri who has illnesses of delay, with patterns of affection and equality approaches applied that can make them conscious and heal from the disease they suffer

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the problems faced by teachers in Islamic religious education, the various problems faced by teachers in schools, and how solutions to these problems can be applied in facing the era of industry 4.0 and globalization. The author uses a qualitative approach in library research, with research data derived from various literatures, such as journals, books, personal documents, and so on. The research objectives are (1) to understand Islamic religious education in the era of globalization and the industry 4.0 era, (2) to understand the problems of Islamic religious education and how to solve them. The results of this study focus on internal factor problems which include (1) mastery of material, (2) love for the teaching profession, (3) teaching skills, (4) student learning evaluations. Abstract

This research aims to determine compensation, teacher performance and the influence of compensation on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 1 Jombang. This is because providing compensation to teachers can also improve teacher welfare and have an impact on teacher performance. Maximum compensation will influence the degree of teacher satisfaction in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. In the research, quantitative research was used with a survey design, while the data collection technique used a questionnaire with Spearman rank correlation data analysis techniques. The results of the research are: 1. Teacher compensation at SMP Negeri 1 Jombang is included in the medium category, with an average score (Mean) of 74. 2. Teacher performance at SMP Negeri 1 Jombang is included in the medium category, with an average score (Mean) is 75. 3. There is a relationship between compensation (variable X) and teacher performance (variable Y) based on the obtained value of Sig. (2-Tailed) is 0.041 < 0.05, while the correlation coefficient value is 0.264 which is in the interval 0.2 - 0.399 with the direction and relationship of the two variables being in the same direction and having a positive value. This shows that if compensation is increased, teacher performance will increase.

Abstract

Fiqh learning at madrasah is aimed to direct and prepare students to know, understand, appreciate and practice Islamic law in everyday life. The aim of this research was to describe student prayer discipline as an impact of the implementation of Fiqh learning at seventh grade students of MTs Ar-Rahman Nglaban Jombang. This research method was qualitative research, with qualitative descriptive design. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation methods. Techniques for testing data validity by extending observations, increasing accuracy in research, data triangulation and using sufficient references. Data was analyzed by data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion/verification. The results of the research showed that: the students were able to get used to have obligatory prayers according to what has been taught by the fiqh teacher; the increasing of students fiqih score; the students are responsible and obedient in carrying out obligatory prayers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMP Negeri 2 Diwek and its problems. A qualitative approach was used with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and observations. The results showed that the Merdeka Curriculum had been implemented for one year through student-centered learning, the development of the Pancasila Student Profile, and the provision of flexibility in choosing teaching materials. The obstacles found included the diversity of student characteristics, low motivation, limited facilities and infrastructure, difficulties in assessment, teacher workload, and limited learning time. Recommended solutions include mapping student characteristics, differentiated instruction, increased motivation, development of instructional media, assessment training, coordination to reduce teacher burden, optimization of time allocation, integration of PAI values, and student guidance services. Collaborative implementation of these solutions can improve the quality of the Merdeka Curriculum implementation in PAI learning to realize national education goals.

Abstract

The film "Budi Pekerti" by Wregas Bhanot presents an inspirational story about the role of a school counselor in guiding troubled students. This study aims to analyze the representation of the school counselor's role in the film. A qualitative research method with Teun A. van Dijk's discourse analysis approach was applied. The results of the analysis show that the character Bu Prani is represented as an ideal school counselor who is wise and compassionate in guiding troubled students. She does not punish, but always provides "reflection" which encourages students' self-introspection and positive change. This representation is relevant to the need for a new approach in education today, where punishment is considered ineffective in changing long-term student behavior. School counselors are seen as key figures in realizing this paradigm shift through dialogical and humanistic approaches. This study concludes that the figure of Bu Prani can inspire Indonesian school counselors to be more optimal and creative in guiding troubled students through reflection, not punishment. This film has the potential to become a powerful educational medium to build a new perspective in dealing with troubled students.

Abstract

Educational quality-based leadership plays a key role in attracting new students to an educational institution. Quality-based leadership can increase the number of new students through superior programs such as BTQ, ICT learning, and education about batik. Improving the quality of education requires effective and efficient management of all institutional components, including educators, education staff, students, facilities and finance. Overall, effective leadership and quality educational programs have an important role in increasing the number of new students in an educational institution. The aim is to find out the role of school principals in increasing the number of students and to find out what programs can attract and attract new prospective students. The research method is qualitative, which is field research because the data produced is in the form of written or spoken words from objects and behavior that can be observed. The research results show that the quality-based leadership program in increasing the number of students at SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan 2 shows encouraging numbers in line with the targets to be achieved and satisfies education users.

Abstract

This research analyzes the principal's strategy for developing the library at SMPN 5 Jombang. The research method is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the school principal, the head of the library, and class VIII students. The results of the research show that the principal of SMPN 5 Jombang implemented four strategies in developing the library, namely the strategy of advising by forming a library organization, the strategy of reprimanding indirectly through curriculum waka, the strategy of appreciating by giving praise and appreciation, and the strategy of receiving suggestions through coordination meetings. Apart from that, the school principal also makes efforts to develop library management, including completing collections, improving the spatial layout, improving services, increasing interest in reading through library programs, and supervising through annual evaluations. The results of this research reinforce the critical role of school principals in developing libraries as a vital means of supporting learning. Library development requires commitment and active participation from all school members, as well as continuous efforts to optimize library functions to support improving the quality of learning and achieving educational goals in schools.
