Abstract

The Essence of Political Education in the Academic Environment of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, UNPAM (FKIP UNPAM), Pamulang, South Tangerang-Banten. Political education is an intentional, deliberate, and systematic educational effort aimed at shaping individuals to be politically aware and capable of acting as responsible political participants, both ethically and morally, in achieving political goals. The objective of this research is to understand the essence of political education within the academic environment of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at UNPAM (FKIP UNPAM). The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive analysis, utilizing survey instruments, observations, and documentation. Once the research data is collected, it will be processed using qualitative analysis techniques by reducing, organizing, and then describing the data qualitatively. The findings indicate that political education within the FKIP UNPAM academic community has been implemented effectively, both through direct and indirect political education approaches.

Abstract

The roleĀ  of the Counseling Guidance (BK) teacher not only contributes to the resolution of students' academic and personal problems but also forms a strong character and integrity. This is an important foundation in equipping students to face the challenges of life in the future. To find out more about whether the role has been carried out as it should,this research aims to explore the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in shaping the positive character of students at SMP Negeri 56 South Jakarta. The background of this research is based on the importance of the role of BK teachers in shaping the personality of students with integrity. The problem raised is how BK teachers can influence the character of students through guidance and counseling approaches. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that BK teachers not only help solve students' personal and academic problems but also act as a significant positive behavior model in character formation. The conclusion of the study emphasizes the importance of the role of BK teachers in shaping student honesty, responsibility, and discipline. It is suggested that further research expand the scope of the sample and extend the duration of the study.

Abstract

This systematic literature review aims to analyze the major contributing factors influencing the low level of critical thinking skills among university students in academic learning environments. Using the PRISMA methodology, a total of 15 articles published from 2019 to 2024 were selected through Scopus, ERIC, ResearchGate, and national academic databases. The results show that the low integration of active learning methods, limited assessment for higher-order thinking, socio-cultural inhibitions, lack of instructional innovation, and psychological blocks such as anxiety or low motivation significantly reduce students' critical thinking capacity. Implications for future instructional design, pedagogical practices, and institutional policy are discussed.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the marketing strategy planning of Islamic educational institutions to increase student numbers (a case study at Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Ponorogo), 2) the implementation of marketing strategies for Islamic educational institutions to increase student numbers (a case study at Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Ponorogo), and 3) the results of marketing strategies for Islamic educational institutions to increase student numbers (a case study at Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Ponorogo). The research method used was a qualitative case study. Data collection and compilation in this study included observation, interviews, and documentation. Primary data sources were obtained from observations, interviews with the principal, vice principal for student affairs, public relations officers, teachers, and documentation. The results of this study include: 1) the planning process, including establishing the PPDB schedule, determining targets, time, and location, and selecting promotional media, both online and offline. In addition, the school also offered various scholarships to attract community interest. 2) the strategy implementation was carried out sustainably through various school activities, such as kindergarten competitions, school anniversary celebrations, and flagship programs. Social media is also used as an effective and efficient promotional tool, 3) increasing the number of students, namely the number of students from 2021-2022 was 109 students, 2022-2023 was 116 students, in 2023-2024 there were 142 students, in 2024-2025 there were 127 students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning activities and outcomes through the implementation of the FRAC Smart Card (Financial Ratio Analysis Card) in Accounting subjects at SMK Tamansiswa 1 Jakarta. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, conducted in three cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects were 32 twelfth-grade Accounting students. Research instruments included observation sheets on learning activities, achievement tests, and interviews with teachers and students. The findings indicated a significant improvement in students' learning activities, progressing from a "fairly active" category in the first cycle to a "highly active" category in the third cycle. Learning outcomes also showed consistent growth, with mastery levels increasing from 56.25% in the first cycle, 75% in the second cycle, and 90.62% in the third cycle, accompanied by higher average scores. The FRAC media facilitated students' understanding of financial ratio analysis in a simpler, visual, and interactive way, which enhanced their motivation and engagement in learning. It can be concluded that the FRAC Smart Card is effective in improving students' learning activities and outcomes in Accounting subjects. This study recommends that teachers adopt and develop similar media as an instructional innovation, and that future research should examine its effectiveness across different contexts and subjects.

Abstract

This research is motivated by Indonesia as a country rich in natural resources and its diversity of culture, ethnicity, race, religion and language. So in this case Indonesia has great potential to become a developing and advanced nation. However, the reality is still far from this reality due to several factors including still depending on natural resources to meet all its needs, human resources that are lacking in innovation, the rise of KKN (Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism) within the structure of state officials and economic and social inequality. The purpose of this study 1) To determine the role of the state in providing optimal services to fulfill the rights of the people as protected by the constitution. 2) To determine the formulations formed by the state in relation to the roadmap towards Indonesia Emas 2045. 3) To determine the relevance of pious, intelligent and capable leadership characters in relation to the effectiveness of Indonesia Emas 2045. This study uses a qualitative method using a descriptive analysis approach by digging up information directly from the community and through a scientific literature approach, both books, journals and information related to the object of the study. The results of this study can be concluded 1) The Role of the State in Managing and Regulating Citizens has a fundamental role in providing basic services in the form of education, health, and social protection. 2) The State Roadmap Towards Golden Indonesia 2045 where Bappenas has established 7 directions of education policy 2025-2045 which include the acceleration of 13 years of compulsory education, strengthening STEAM-based higher education, improving the quality of teaching, Islamic boarding school education, vocational, educator professionalism, to education governance. 3) The Character of Pious, Intelligent, and Capable of Leading are these three characters complement each other and cannot be separated in order to achieve the generation of Golden Indonesia 2045.

Abstract

Independent learning is an important skill for students to learn independently and effectively. This study aims to describe the training on the use of canva in creating e-books as a learning media for Pancasila and Civics Education (PPKn) in the Merdeka Curriculum to develop students' independent learning skills. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that training on the use of Canva in creating e-books can help improve students' independent learning skills, such as their ability to organize information, express ideas, improve graphic design, think critically, collaborate, and develop creativity. Additionally, the use of canva can also increase students' interest and motivation in learning PPKn. This study recommends that teachers utilize appropriate technology and learning media that meet students' needs to develop independent learning skills.

Abstract

In the face of changes due to the pandemic, of course, teaching and learning activities give rise to various problems, one of which is the lack of motivation to learn so that it affects the quality of learning that is far from the maximum and has an impact on decreasing student learning achievements. The writing of this article aims to analyze the independent curriculum in an effort to improve the quality of student learning after the Covid-19 pandemic. The writing of this article uses a literature study method derived from journals, books, websites, and other supporting literature documents. The results of this study show that the independent curriculum can help improve the quality of post-pandemic learning with interactive and relevant and competency-based learning. The role of the independent curriculum in helping to recover and improve the quality of learning that has declined due to the pandemic is quite good, but there needs to be further research, namely whether the independent curriculum is able to "accommodate" schools in remote areas that want to improve the quality and competence of their graduates but are hit with unsupportive conditions

Abstract

To produce interactive teaching materials that are fit for purpose, easy for students to learn and can be used for individual learning, to find out the effectiveness of similar teaching materials developed in English subjects. This type of research is a developmental research using the Borg & Gall model combined with the Dick & Carey model. The results of the development process show that expertise and testing carried out with expertise are excellent throughout the stages of product evaluation. The method used in this study is semi-empirical. The results of the hypothesis test showed that there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students taught with interactive learning media and without interactive media. This is shown by the results of data processing and the conclusion that the learning outcomes of the group of students taught with interactive learning media are higher than those learned without interactive learning media.
