Abstract

ENGLISH: Building Competitive Spirit through the Use of Quizizz as an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Based Evaluation in Islamic Education Learning Fiqh MaterialObjective: This study aims to explore using Quizizz as an information and communication technology (ICT) based evaluation tool in learning Islamic education Fiqh material and building students' competitive spirit. Methods: This research uses a qualitative approach. Data were collected through classroom observation, in-depth interviews, data analysis, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results: Using Quizizz to evaluate Fiqh learning creates a more dynamic and competitive learning atmosphere. Students are more motivated to participate due to gamification features such as instant scores and leaderboards. Conclusion: Quizizz can be an innovative ICT-based evaluation tool in Fiqh learning, improving learning outcomes and building students' competitive spirit. Contribution: This research contributes as a recommendation to educators to use Quizizz as an interesting and effective evaluation alternative in in Islamic education learning Fiqh material.INDONESIAN: Membangun Semangat Kompetitif melalui Penggunaan Quizizz sebagai Evaluasi Berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) pada Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Materi FiqihTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan Quizizz sebagai alat evaluasi berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam materi Fiqih, dalam membangun semangat kompetitif siswa. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara mendalam, analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil: Penggunaan Quizizz dalam evaluasi pembelajaran Fiqih menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih dinamis dan kompetitif. Siswa lebih termotivasi untuk berpartisipasi karena adanya fitur gamifikasi seperti skor instan dan papan peringkat. Kesimpulan: Quizizz dapat menjadi alat evaluasi berbasis TIK yang inovatif dalam pembelajaran Fiqih, tidak hanya meningkatkan hasil belajar tetapi juga membangun semangat kompetitif siswa. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini berkontribusi sebagai rekomendasi kepada pendidik untuk menggunakan Quizizz sebagai salah satu alternatif evaluasi yang menarik dan efektif dalam dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Materi Fiqih.

Abstract

ENGLISH: An Analysis of Islamic Education Teachers’ Readiness in Using Educational Technology at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Elementary School) LevelObjective: This study analyzes teachers' readiness to use learning technology in religious clumps at MI Muhammadiyah Ketepung.  Methods: This study used a qualitative method with an analytic descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis through four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results: Teacher readiness is still limited due to a lack of understanding of technology, access, facilities, and infrastructure. It is recommended that educational institutions provide intensive training and mentoring, improve access to technology, and develop policies that support the use of technology. Conclusion: Although Islamic education teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah are willing to use learning technology, they face various obstacles in its implementation. Contribution: This research provides practical input for Islamic education teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah to improve the quality of their teaching by utilizing learning technology on the characteristics of religious subjects.INDONESIAN: Analisis Kesiapan Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Penggunaan Teknologi Pembelajaran tingkat Madrasah IbtidaiyahTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan guru dalam penggunaan teknologi pembelajaran pada rumpun keagamaan di MI Muhammadiyah Ketepung. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitik. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Analsisi data melalui empat tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil: Kesiapan guru masih terbatas karena kurangnya pemahaman teknologi, akses, serta sarana dan prasarana. Disarankan agar lembaga pendidikan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan intensif, meningkatkan akses teknologi, dan mengembangkan kebijakan yang mendukung penggunaan teknologi. Kesimpulan: Meskipun guru pendidikan agama Islam di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah berkeinginan untuk menggunakan teknologi pembelajaran, namun mereka masih menghadapi berbagai kendala dalam implementasinya. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini memberikan masukan praktis bagi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran mereka dengan memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik mata pelajaran agama.

Abstract

ENGLISH: Utilizing the Way of Life (WOL) Animated Video as a Learning Tool for Islamic Cultural History in Islamic Religious Education at MadrasahObjective: This study examines the utilization of video as a medium for teaching the history of Islamic culture in grade 4 MI Nurul Islam. Method: This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection method used in this research is the survey method. This research was conducted through a survey using a Google-like tool targeting 30 fourth-grade students of MI Nurul Islam. Results: Data analysis shows 100% answered yes that learning the history of Islamic culture through animated videos is easy. The results showed that all fourth-grade students of MI Nurul Islam responded positively to the animated video learning according to their wishes. Conclusion: Animated video learning is fun and easy to understand, and according to the student's wishes, they positively respond to learning animated video fun. Contribution: This research contributes scientific information in Islamic religious education about using animated video way of life (wool) to teach Islamic cultural history (ski) in schools.INDONESIAN: Pemanfaatan Video Animasi Way of Life (WOL) sebagai Media Pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di MadrasahTujuan: Penelitian ini mengkaji pemanfaatan video sebagai media pengajaran sejarah budayaan Islam di kelas 4 MI Nurul Islam. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui survei menggunakan alat sejenis Google yang menyasar 30 siswa kelas IV MI Nurul Islam. Hasil: Analisis data menunjukkan 100% menjawab ya bahwa mempelajari sejarah kebudayaan Islam melalui video animasi itu mudah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh siswa kelas IV MI Nurul Islam memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran video animasi sesuai dengan keinginannya. Kesimpulan: Pembelajaran video animasi itu menyenangkan, mudah dipahami dan sesuai dengan keinginan para siswa dan mereka memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran video animasi menyenangkan. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini berkontribusi sebagai sumber informasi ilmu pengetahuan di bidang pendidikan agama islam tentang pemanfaatan video animasi way of life (wol) sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah kebudayaan islam (ski) di sekolah.

Abstract

ENGLISH: Muslim Students' Role in the Development of Islamic Education for Generation ZObjective: This study aims to determine the urgency of the role of Muslim students in the development of Islamic education for Generation Z. Methods: This study used a quantitative research approach. The research subjects consisted of Muslim students actively involved in developing and delivering Islamic education to Generation Z. The data in this study were collected using a questionnaire developed based on the literature. The data in this study were collected using a questionnaire developed based on the literature. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical approaches. Results: Muslim students can use technology to spread religious messages. The role of technology allows students to cooperate and share information about religion more widely and effectively. Conclusion: Muslim students play an important role in developing Islamic education for Generation Z, especially through digital technology, religious communities, and interactive learning methods. Contribution: This research references religious higher education institutions creating Islamic education work programs for Generation Z.INDONESIAN: Peran Pelajar Mahasiswa Muslim Dalam Mengembangkan Pendidikan Islam pada Generasi ZTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui urgensi peran mahasiswa muslim dalam pengembangan pendidikan agama generasi Z. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari mahasiswa Muslim yang aktif terlibat dalam mengembangkan dan menyampaikan pendidikan agama kepada generasi Z. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang dikembangkan berdasarkan literatur. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil: Mahasiswa Muslim dapat menggunakan teknologi untuk menyebarkan pesan-pesan keagamaan. Peran teknologi memungkinkan para pelajar untuk bekerja sama dan berbagi informasi tentang agama secara lebih luas dan efektif. Kesimpulan: Pelajar Muslim memainkan peran penting dalam mengembangkan pendidikan agama untuk Generasi Z, terutama melalui penggunaan teknologi digital, komunitas keagamaan, dan metode pembelajaran interaktif. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini berkontribusi sebagai referensi bagi lembaga pendidikan tinggi keagamaan dalam membuat program kerja edukasi agama untuk Generasi Z.

Abstract

ENGLISH: Development of Islamic Education Teaching Materials based on Local Culture to Improve Honest Character in Elementary School StudentsObjective: This study aims to develop local culture-based Islamic religious education teaching materials to improve the honest character of elementary school students. Method: This type of research uses a research and development (R&D) approach, which consists of needs analysis, teaching material design, limited trials, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of related documents. Results: The developed teaching materials successfully link local cultural values with Islamic teachings, such as through folklore and cultural symbols relevant to the concept of honesty in Islam. Conclusion: Developing local culture-based teaching materials can be an effective strategy in Islamic religious education to strengthen the formation of honest character in elementary school students. Contribution: The research contributes as a model of teaching materials based on local culture that can be applied in elementary schools and provides new insights into integrating local culture in Islamic religious education for student character building.INDONESIAN: Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Pendidikan Agama Islam Berbasis Budaya Lokal untuk Meningkatkan Karakter Jujur Siswa Sekolah DasarTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar pendidikan agama Islam berbasis budaya lokal yang dapat meningkatkan karakter jujur siswa sekolah dasar. Metode: Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), yang terdiri dari tahap analisis kebutuhan, desain bahan ajar, uji coba terbatas, dan evaluasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, serta analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil: Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berhasil mengaitkan nilai-nilai budaya lokal dengan ajaran Islam, seperti melalui cerita rakyat dan simbol budaya yang relevan dengan konsep kejujuran dalam agama Islam. Kesimpulan: Pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis budaya lokal dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam pendidikan agama Islam untuk memperkuat pembentukan karakter jujur pada siswa sekolah dasar. Kontribusi: Penelitian berkontribusi sebagai model bahan ajar yang berbasis budaya lokal yang dapat diterapkan di sekolah dasar, serta memberikan wawasan baru tentang pengintegrasian budaya lokal dalam pendidikan agama Islam untuk pembentukan karakter siswa.

Abstract

ENGLISH: Pesantren-Based Islamic Education: Learning Strategies for Memorizing the Qur’an in Islamic Boarding Schools (Pesantren)Objective: This study analyzes the learning strategies used by students (santri) for memorizing the Qur’an at Pesantren As-Salam. Methods: This research is a field study employing a qualitative approach, involving direct observation, in-depth interviews with santri, ustaz, and pesantren administrators, as well as analysis of relevant documents. Results: Santri at Pesantren As-Salam employ various memorization techniques, including talaqqi, tikrar, wahdah, muraja'ah, and sima'an, often combining these methods to enhance memorization effectiveness. Key supporting factors include the disciplined environment of the pesantren, intensive guidance from teachers, a rigorous evaluation system, and strong intrinsic motivation among the students. Conclusion: The implementation of a structured tahfidz strategy, alongside the integration of digital technology, can significantly improve the effectiveness of Qur’an memorization. Contribution: This study offers insights into effective tahfidz strategies within the pesantren system and provides recommendations for integrating technology and adapting memorization methods to the characteristics of santri, to enhance future memorization outcomes.INDONESIAN: Pendidikan Islam Berbasis Pesantren: Strategi Pembelajaran Menghafal Al-Qur'an Santri di PesantrenTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh santri dalam menghafal Al-Qur'an di Pesantren As-Salam. Metode: Jenis penelitian menggunakan studi lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang melibatkan observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan santri, ustaz, serta pengelola pesantren, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil: Santri di As-Salam menggunakan berbagai metode hafalan, antara lain talaqqi, tikrar, wahdah, muraja’ah, dan sima’an, yang dikombinasikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas hafalan. Faktor pendukung utama dalam keberhasilan hafalan adalah lingkungan pesantren yang disiplin, bimbingan intensif dari pengajar, sistem evaluasi yang ketat, serta motivasi intrinsik dari santri itu sendiri. Kesimpulan: Penerapan strategi tahfidz yang terstruktur dan penggunaan teknologi digital dapat meningkatkan efektivitas menghafal Al-Qur’an. Kontribusi: Penelitian memberikan wawasan tentang strategi tahfidz yang efektif di pesantren, serta rekomendasi untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi dan menyesuaikan metode dengan karakteristik santri untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan hafalan Al-Qur’an di masa depan.

Abstract

ENGLISH: Islamic Education Based on Literacy Tradition in Educating the People of Islamic Union (PERSIS)Objective: This study aims to examine the literacy tradition in public education developed by the Islamic Association (PERSIS) using a literature review and historical analysis. Methods: This research was conducted in 2023. The research uses the heuristic method to collect data, and data analysis uses historical analysis of the development of PERSIS in literacy and education. Results: PERSIS has successfully developed a strong literacy tradition since its establishment, which focuses on spreading and understanding Islamic teachings by the spirit of returning to the Qur'an and As-Sunnah. Conclusion: PERSIS books and publications have become a major means of enriching Islamic literature in Indonesia and helping to deepen people's understanding of Islamic teachings. They have positively impacted the internal PERSIS community and contributed to developing public education in Indonesia. Contribution: The results of this study contribute to strengthening PERSIS' literacy-based proselytization strategy, both in print and digital media, so that the wider community can more easily access Islamic teachings.INDONESIAN: Pendidikan Islam Berbasis Tradisi Literasi dalam Mencerdaskan Umat Persatuan Islam (PERSIS)Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tradisi literasi dalam pendidikan masyarakat yang dikembangkan oleh Persatuan Islam (PERSIS) menggunakan tinjauan literatur dan analisis sejarah. Metode: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tahun 2023 menggunakan metode heuristik untuk mengumpulkan data. Sejarah perkembangan PERSIS dalam bidang literasi dan pendidikan dianalisis. Hasil: PERSIS berhasil mengembangkan tradisi literasi yang kuat sejak berdiri. Tradisi literasi PERSIS berfokus pada penyebaran dan pemahaman ajaran Islam sesuai dengan semangat untuk kembali kepada Al-Qur’an dan As-Sunah. Kesimpulan: Buku dan penerbitan PERSIS menjadi sarana utama dalam memperkaya literatur Islam di Indonesia dan memperdalam pemahaman masyarakat terhadap ajaran Islam. Hal ini berdampak positif pada komunitas internal PERSIS dan juga berkontribusi penting bagi perkembangan pendidikan masyarakat di Indonesia. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat strategi dakwah PERSIS yang berbasis literasi di media cetak maupun digital sehingga masyarakat luas dapat lebih mudah mengakses ajaran Islam.

Abstract

ENGLISH: Exploring the Practice of Norm-Referenced and Criterion-Referenced Assessment in Islamic EducationObjective: This study aims to reveal and analyze the application of Norm-Referenced Assessment (NRA) and Criterion-Referenced Assessment (CRA) in Islamic education. Methods: This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis uses reduction, presentation, and conclusion techniques. Results: Islamic education teachers at SMPN 24 Padang have applied norm-referenced assessment in the learning process and criterion-referenced assessment in certain aspects, such as attitude and skills assessment. Conclusion: While both can improve academic understanding, there is still a need to integrate these two assessment methods with a more holistic approach that measures cognitive ability and develops students' Islamic character. Contribution: The research improves the quality of Islamic education learning assessment according to the demands of the applicable curriculum.INDONESIAN: Mengungkap Praktik Penilaian Acuan Norma dan Penilaian Acuan Kriteria dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama IslamTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan menganalisis penerapan Norm-Referenced Assessment (NRA) dan Criterion-Referenced Assessment (CRA) dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil: Guru pendidikan agama islam di SMPN 24 Padang tlah menerapkan penilaian acuan norma dalam proses pembelajaran dan menerapkan penilaian acuan kriteria pada aspek tertentu seperti penilaian sikap dan keterampilan. Kesimpulan: Meskipun keduanya dapat meningkatkan pemahaman akademis, namun masih ada kebutuhan untuk mengintegrasikan kedua metode penilaian ini dengan pendekatan yang lebih holistik, yang tidak hanya mengukur kemampuan kognitif, tetapi juga mengembangkan karakter Islam siswa. Kontribusi: Penelitian berkontribusi sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas penilaian pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum yang berlaku.

ENGLISH: The Impact of Tahfidz and Qiro'ati on the Learning Outcomes of Junior High School Students in Islamic EducationObjective: This study aims to examine the effect of the Foundation Program, which includes the Tahfidz (Qur'an memorization) program and the Qiro'ati (Qur'anic recitation) method, on students' learning outcomes in Islamic education at Al SMP Islam Al-Hasanah, Kota Bengkulu. Method: This research employs a quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is simple linear regression analysis. Results: The findings indicate no significant influence of the Tahfidz program and the Qiro'ati method on students' learning outcomes in Islamic education. The contribution of the Foundation Program variable (X) to improving Islamic education learning outcomes (Y) is only 0.1%, as shown by the coefficient of determination. Conclusion: The Tahfidz program and the Qiro'ati method do not significantly improve Islamic education learning outcomes at SMP Islam Al-Hasanah, Kota Bengkulu. Contribution: This research provides valuable insights for teachers regarding the importance of optimizing Tahfidz- and Qiro'ati-based teaching methods to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning processes in Islamic education.INDONESIAN: Pengaruh Tahfidz dan Qiro’ati terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa SMP pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan IslamTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh program yayasan terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam pada siswa di SMP Islam Al-Hasanah, Kota Bengkulu: Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian melalui observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil:  Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara program Tahfidz dan metode Qiro’ati terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam. Kontribusi yang diberikan oleh variabel program yayasan (X) terhadap variabel peningkatan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam (Y) hanya sebesar 0.1% yang ditandai dengan nilai koefisien determinan sebesar 0.1%. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara program Tahfidz dan metode Qiro’ati terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam SMP Islam Al-Hasanah, Kota Bengkulu. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini berkontribusi sebagai wawasan kepada guru tentang pentingnya metode pengajaran berbasis tahfidz dan qiro'ati sehingga dapat diterapkan secara optimal dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.

Abstract

ENGLISH: Islamic Education Based on Sufistic Counseling: Integrating Psychosufistic (Sufism) and Islamic Spiritual Counseling Approaches to Develop Islamic CharacterObjective: This study aims to integrate the psychosufistic (Sufism) approach with Islamic spiritual counseling in shaping Islamic character as the foundation for a model approach. Methods: This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data sources were obtained from scholarly journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques (applying inclusion and exclusion criteria). Results: Integrating the psychosufistic (Sufism) approach and Islamic spiritual counseling in shaping Islamic character emphasizes the individual's efforts in self-purification (tazkiyyatunnafs) and devotion to Allah SWT. Conclusion: Integrating the psychosufistic approach with Islamic spiritual counseling can serve as an effective strategy for shaping Islamic character. Contribution: This study contributes to Islamic education, by integrating the psychosufistic approach with Islamic spiritual counseling.INDONESIAN: Pendidikan Islam Berbasis Konseling Sufistik: Mengintegrasikan Pendekatan Psikosufistik (Tasawuf) dan Konseling Spiritual Islam untuk Membentuk Karakter IslamiTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan pendekatan psikosufistik (tasawuf) dengan konseling spiritual islam dalam membentuk karakter islami sebagai basis model pendekatan. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Sumber data diperoleh dari jurnal ilmiah yang terindeks Scopus, Web of Science, dan Google Scholar. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis konten (kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi). Hasil: Integrasi pendekatan psikosufistik (tasawuf) dan konseling spiritual islam dalam membentuk karakter islami menekankan pada upaya individu untuk penyucian diri (tazkiyyatunnafs) dan pengabdian kepada Allah SWT. Kesimpulan: Intergrasi pendekatan psychosufistic dengan konseling spiritual islam dapat menjadi strategi pendekatan dalam membentuk karakter Islami. Konstribusi: Penelitian berkontribusi sebagai referansil ilmu pengetahuan di bidang pendidikan islam berbasis integrasi pendekatan psychosufistic dengan konseling spiritual islam
