Abstract

A The work readiness of vocational graduates is a strategic issue amidst increasingly tight industrial competition. This Community Service (PKM) aims to improve work readiness through socialization on competency-based career development and personal financial literacy strategies for students at SMK Mandiri 2 Balaraja. The program penetration focuses on two empirical urgencies: students' limited understanding of career planning (soft and hard skills) and the high level of consumptive behavior unmatched by adequate financial literacy. The implementation utilized a systematic approach through three main stages: problem identification, education (interactive lectures and simulations), and empirical evaluation using pre-test and post-test instruments. A total of 35 participants were involved, with 25 respondents measured for effectiveness. The results indicated a significant parameter increase; knowledge regarding competency-based career development increased by 32% (from an average score of 62 to 94), the skill in arranging financial budgets increased by 27%, and a highly positive attitude was formed with an average score of 4.6 out of a 5 scale towards personal financial management awareness. In conclusion, early educational intervention has proven effective in bridging the gap in work competencies of vocational graduates while building fundamental financial independence.

Abstract

This community service program aims to analyze the role of administrative activities and document digitization in supporting smooth operations in the Consumer Business Section at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Palangka Raya Branch Office. The program focus includes physical records management (BRImen), document scanning processes, credit administration, and banking bureaucratic flows. This activity uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a participatory case study design through the Independent Impact Internship program. Primary data was obtained through in-depth observations and daily logbook records during the period 22 January to 22 May 2026. The program results show that orderly administration in support units (back-office) is the main determinant of the smooth running of services at the front line (front-office). The implementation of physical arrangement of documents into BRImen folders accompanied by digitization of files has proven to be effective in speeding up the information retrieval process, minimizing administrative errors, and expediting the distribution of authorization files (ACC) to the teller section. However, the high volume of archives, time-consuming manual searches, and incomplete customer documents are still operational obstacles that often delay service. Therefore, standardization of file verification and continuous integration of digitalization systems are crucial solutions to increase efficiency and quality of service.

Abstract

This community service program, implemented through the Independent Impact Internship, aims to analyze and systematically improve the role of micro-credit administration systems in supporting operational efficiency at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Palangka Raya Branch Office. The focus of the intervention encompasses physical records management, continuous document scanning into the BRImen system, processing the UM06 authorization forms, and resolving administrative bottlenecks in micro-credit distribution (such as KUR and Kupedes). This activity adopts a descriptive qualitative approach utilizing a Participatory Action Research (PAR) design. Primary data was obtained through direct daily involvement, in-depth observation, and structured logbook records from January 22 to May 26, 2026. The results demonstrate that orderly administration in the back-office unit acts as the main determinant of service speed and excellence at the front-office. The implementation of dual safety measures digitizing collateral files into the BRImen cloud and physically organizing them in fireproof vaults has proven highly effective in accelerating information retrieval, minimizing human errors, and ensuring document security. However, the evaluation highlights that the high volume of daily micro-credit applications, manual authorization processes requiring wet signatures, and incomplete customer documents (such as missing SPH) remain operational obstacles that frequently delay service. Therefore, standardizing daily wrap-up document scanning, enforcing strict document cross-checks at the front-end, and advocating for the adoption of digital signatures are crucial solutions to accelerate micro-credit disbursement and elevate the overall quality of banking services.

Abstract

The Independent Impact Internship program is designed as a vehicle for experiential learning to align students' academic competencies with the real needs of the banking industry. This field practice-based study aims to analyze the configuration of credit operational workflows, the integration mechanism of digital archiving systems, and the resolution of administrative constraints at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Palangka Raya Branch Office. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a participatory case study design, where primary data was collected directly through participatory observation and daily logbook records over a four-month period, from January 22 to May 26, 2026. The implementation results indicate that the credit operational architecture at the branch office operates under the Prudential Banking Principle using an assembly line system. The smoothness of liquidity disbursement at the front line highly depends on the administrative order of the back office, which includes legal document validation, registration of bookkeeping documents (UM06), digital archive migration into the Brimen application ecosystem, and physical management of collateral documents in fireproof rooms. Nevertheless, operational service efficiency still faces several technical bottlenecks, such as centralized wet-signature-based authorization, the risk of physical document accumulation due to high daily input volumes, and the lengthy turnaround time for processing pre-auction files at external agencies. As a solution, technological optimization through digital signature acceleration, restructuring daily scanning workloads, and establishing formal Service Level Agreements (SLA) with local bureaucratic agencies are crucial for sustainable implementation.

Abstract

The background of this community service initiative is rooted in the deteriorating road infrastructure conditions in Rawajaya Village, North Halmahera Regency. Significant structural damage to the village's primary pathways has created a bottleneck for local economic growth and restricted social accessibility for residents. The core problem addressed in this program is the lack of technical and managerial capacity among the local community to maintain their roads independently. This deficit has led to a chronic dependency on regional government assistance, which is often delayed or insufficient to address immediate local needs. To tackle these challenges, a comprehensive eight-week program was implemented using a multi-faceted methodology. This included participatory socialization, hands-on technical training for road repairs utilizing sustainable local materials, and intensive workshops on budget management. The novelty of this initiative lies in its integrated approach: the introduction of appropriate technology—specifically a simplified road damage measurement tool—combined with the formal establishment of a Community-Based Road Maintenance Working Group (Pokja). This structural innovation represents the first time such a localized governance model has been applied within the village. The results and discussions highlight a substantial increase in local capacity. Out of the 48 participants involved, 82% demonstrated the proficiency required to accurately diagnose various types of road distress and are now equipped to execute independent repairs. Furthermore, the community successfully drafted an accountable maintenance budget plan, marking a transition toward transparent financial self-govern  ance. In conclusion, this community service demonstrates that a combination of practical, hands-on training and the formalization of working groups is highly effective in fostering rural independence regarding infrastructure management. However, the long-term sustainability of this progress remains contingent upon the commitment of the village government. Specifically, the strategic allocation of Village Funds (Dana Desa) for the collective procurement of materials and equipment is essential to ensure that the newly formed Pokja remains operational and impactful in the years to come.
