Abstract

Waste management remains a critical issue facing rural communities, including those in Wonggahu Village, Paguyaman District. Low public awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness has led to increased pollution and a decline in public health. This community service initiative aims to empower the community through innovative waste education boards as a means of information and behavior change. The program involved field observation, needs analysis, educational content design, and the creation and installation of boards in strategic locations. The results demonstrate increased public awareness of the importance of properly sorting and disposing of waste. This program demonstrates students' concrete contribution to creating a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment through education and community participation.

Abstract

Posyandu plays a crucial role in maternal and child health monitoring; however, manual recording systems using KIA/KMS books often lead to data inconsistency, physical damage risks, and delays in reporting health indicators such as stunting. This community service activity was carried out through an approach focused on the development and implementation of a health information system based on Posyandu cadres. This study aims to design and implement a digital health information system to transform data management processes at the Posyandu level to be more accurate, efficient, and integrated. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Waterfall development model. The system design is modeled using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), including use case, activity, and class diagrams. Testing was conducted using Black Box Testing for functional validation and User Acceptance Test (UAT) to measure the level of user acceptance.  The results show that the developed information system is 100% functional according to technical specifications. UAT testing among Posyandu volunteers (kader) indicated a satisfaction rate of 88%, categorizing the system as Highly Acceptable. Data digitalization through this system significantly accelerates the data recapitulation process and minimizes input errors, thereby supporting more targeted medical decision-making at the Community Health Center (Puskesmas) level.

Abstract

Farmer groups have an important role in the development of the agricultural sector. The production of organic vegetables not only supports environmental sustainability, but also increases the added value of agricultural products. However, in its implementation, Farmer Groups often face various obstacles, one of which is the limited availability of organic fertilizers. Organic fertilizers can support plant production and can replace the role of chemical fertilizers. Another problem faced by Farmer Groups, especially the New Living Farmers Group, is the increasing difficulty of obtaining chemical fertilizers. In addition to the increasingly expensive price of chemical fertilizers, the circulation of fake fertilizers in the market is also a challenge for farmers. This condition encourages the need for a more sustainable solution in meeting the fertilizer needs of Farmer Groups, namely by producing their own organic fertilizers independently.

Abstract

Iron deficiency anemia is still a common health problem among teenage girls in Indonesia, including senior high school students. This condition can make students feel tired easily, have difficulty concentrating in class, and experience decreased productivity and overall quality of life. This community service program was designed to help students at SMA Negeri 59 Jakarta better understand anemia and learn practical ways to prevent it. The program focused on teaching them how to choose and prepare healthy snacks and juices made from local foods that are rich in iron and other nutrients that help the body produce hemoglobin. The activities included interactive nutrition education sessions and hands-on demonstrations on how to make simple, affordable, and nutritious snacks and juices that students can easily prepare at home. Through this program, students are expected to develop healthier eating habits. Ultimately, this initiative is hoped to become a practical promotive and preventive effort to reduce the risk of anemia among adolescent girls.
