Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the challenges faced by classroom teachers in developing and implementing teaching modules. The method employed in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis utilized three main stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the findings, the challenges teachers face in developing teaching modules include a lack of understanding in interpreting Learning Outcomes (CP), inability to formulate Learning Objectives (TP) based on existing CP, and difficulties in constructing the Learning Objective Flow (ATP) from TP. In the implementation stage, teachers often encounter obstacles in determining the selection of media, learning models, and assessments that are appropriate, thus failing to align with the diverse individual characteristics of students according to their developmental stages.characteristics of different students according to their developmental phases

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of a fraction textbook for slow‐learner students in elementary schools. The research design employed was a one-group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of slow‐learner students, and the learning material used in this study was fractions. Research data were obtained through pretests and posttests, and the pretest–posttest analysis was conducted using the N-Gain calculation. The results show that the learning outcomes of slow‐learner students (N-Gain) fall into the medium category. Based on these findings, the fraction textbook is effective in improving slow‐learner students’ conceptual understanding and implies that similar textbooks may serve as alternative learning resources to support fraction learning for slow‐learner students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how Arabic language instruction at MI At-Tahririyah Bangkalan incorporates Islamic boarding school culture. The research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research. Data collection techniques include participant observation, interviews and doument. The findings demonstrated how MI At-Tahririyah combined the Islamic boarding school curriculum with the Merdeka Curriculum using three strategies: developing teaching materials based on Islamic boarding school values, learning grammar with a contextualization of Islamic boarding school life, and learning vocabulary based on the Islamic boarding school context. MI teachers and female teachers from Islamic boarding schools worked together to construct the module In the cultural setting of Madurese Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study examines the recontextualization of religious moderation in Islamic education through a field study at the An-Najah Islamic Boarding School. The research background stems from the need to present the values of wasatiyyah (moderation) in an applicable manner within the Islamic education system, which has tended to remain conceptual. The purpose of this study is to analyse the integration of religious moderation values into the curriculum, extracurricular activities, teacher role models, and institutional culture at the Islamic boarding school. Using a qualitative approach through field observations and in-depth interviews with three asatidz (teacher educators) (two males and one female), this study found that the values of moderation are internalised through dialogic learning, egalitarian interactions, and moral modelling. Teachers serve as models of empathetic, just, and tolerant behaviour, while Islamic boarding school activities reflect the social practice of the Islamic value of rahmatan lil-'alamin (blessing for the universe). The results confirm that Islamic boarding schools function as effective social laboratories in shaping moderate Muslim character through role models, not indoctrination. This study recommends the development of a model of integration of religious moderation based on social practice in other Islamic educational institutions to strengthen inclusive and humanistic Islamic learning in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of science learning based on the surrounding environment in developing students’ process skills. This type of research uses a literature study approach. The data collection techniques used include various literature sources and other documentation materials. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of science learning based on the surrounding environment can be carried out in two ways: inside the classroom and outside the classroom. The components involved in developing students’ process skills include observing, communicating, measuring, interpreting and drawing conclusions, predicting, and using tools and materials.

Abstract

The post-digital era has fundamentally changed the way elementary school students interact, learn, and form their self-identity, where technology is no longer merely a tool, but has become a living space integrated into their daily lives. This study aims to reconstruct the concept of Islamic moral education relevant for Alpha generation Muslim students at the elementary school level, focusing on the formation and strengthening of their spiritual values in digital spaces. Through a literature study approach that integrates the concept of Tazkiyatun nafs from classical Islamic resources with digital self-awareness theory, this research finds that moral education in the post-digital era must shift from an instructional approach to a transformative approach that emphasizes digital spiritual awareness. The study resulted in the Digital Spiritual Consciousness-Based Islamic Moral Education (PAI-DSC) model, which consists of a philosophical-theological foundation, a pedagogical-psychological framework, a digital morals curriculum, transformative learning strategies, and a supportive ecosystem. This model offers both a conceptual framework and practical guidance for PAI teachers, schools, families, and policymakers in guiding elementary school students to navigate the online world ethically, courteously, and based on Islamic values. This research provides an important contribution to developing an Islamic moral education paradigm that is adaptive, contextual, and responsive to the spiritual development dynamics of Muslim Alpha generation children in the post-digital era.

Abstract

This research analyzes the transformation of learning using Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in English language learning at Al-Kamal Islamic High School in Rembang. The objectives of this study include the implementation of AI application utilization, student responses, obstacles, and its impact on motivation and learning outcomes. The method used is descriptive qualitative thru observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The research results show that applications like Grammarly, Chat GPT, Elsa Speak, and Duo lingo help improve grammar, speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, and writing skills, and learning motivation increased from 60% to 85%. Constraints include limited devices, unstable networks, low digital literacy, and teacher training. Nevertheless, AI remains effective and viable for use as an innovative modern learning strategy at the school level. Therefore, it is hoped that the school can respond well and serve as a reference in modern, effective, and innovative learning transformation at the school level.
