Abstract

Character education based on local wisdom in Aceh is the focus of this research as a response to the challenges of moral degradation and identity crisis in the era of globalization. This study aims to analyze the implementation of character education based on local wisdom in Aceh, identify factors influencing the effectiveness of integrating traditional and modern values, and explore the potential of Aceh's character education model for a global context. The research method used is a literature review with content analysis of selected scholarly works. The results show that character education in Aceh successfully integrates local and Islamic values through a holistic approach, involving educational institutions, government policies, and community participation. However, challenges such as the influence of globalization and the lack of public understanding of local wisdom still need to be addressed. These findings affirm that Aceh's character education model has the potential to serve as a model for global education systems, particularly in facing contemporary educational challenges. Recommendations for further research include quantitative studies, comparative studies, and exploration of the role of information technology in character education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya sumber belajar yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan modul matematika yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai Islam pada materi barisan dan deret. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research & Development (R&D), dengan proses pengembangan modul menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahapan Analysis (analisis), Design (desain), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (implementasi), dan Evaluation (evaluasi). Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui lembar validasi, angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Modul matematika yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai Islam memiliki tingkat validitas sebesar 85%, yang dikategorikan sangat valid. 2) Berdasarkan tanggapan peserta didik, modul ini memiliki tingkat kepraktisan sebesar 82,43%, yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. 3) Keefektifan modul diukur melalui hasil belajar peserta didik, dengan persentase ketuntasan mencapai 78,57%, yang masuk dalam kategori efektif. Dengan demikian, modul ini layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran matematika. Pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar serta menanamkan karakter Islami dalam diri peserta didik, seperti kejujuran, sikap saling membantu dan lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan para pendidik mengembangkan bahan ajar yang memadukan konsep akademik dengan nilai-nilai Islam agar membangun karakter peserta didik sesuai dengan ajaran Islam.

Abstract

Low student learning outcomes are caused by boredom, not paying attention to the material and not being able to explain the material being taught, and not responding to teacher questions. The goal to be achieved is to find out the application of animaker media in improving student learning outcomes in Elementary Schools. Kemmis and MC Tagart Classroom Action Research (PTK) was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 3 meetings with the following stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 26 fourth grade students. While the objects of the study were Animaker Media and student learning outcomes. The results showed an increase from 46.15% (quite good), increasing to 61.53% (good), and finally to 80.76% (good). It is concluded that animaker media can improve the learning outcomes of Elementary School students.

Abstract

The study results indicate that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model supported by the Mathigon platform can enhance students' active participation and deepen their understanding of geometric concepts. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and students' work, which were analyzed qualitatively in accordance with the guidelines of Miles and Huberman. This analysis reveals an increase in student participation as well as the development of critical thinking skills, such as analyzing, comparing, and drawing logical conclusions during the learning process. These improvements are supported by data triangulation from classroom discussions, activity observations, and students’ works. The findings demonstrate that the integration of PBL and Mathigon is effective in creating an active and reflective learning environment and in improving elementary students' critical thinking abilities. This research recommends applying this approach as an innovative strategy for primary mathematics instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of social values in the teaching of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at SD Negeri 1 Mantren. Using a qualitative approach, the data sources consist of 6 teachers, 1 educator, and 30 students. The IPAS learning process at SD Negeri 1 Mantren shows that teachers are quite well-prepared in designing and delivering material, although hindered by the limited availability of adequate learning media. The learning process remains less varied and has not fully accommodated the diverse characteristics of students. IPAS learning at SD Negeri 1 Mantren has successfully instilled social values such as cooperation, tolerance, responsibility, and empathy. Teachers demonstrate preparedness through the development of lesson plans and mastery of the material, despite the limitations in facilities. Positive feedback encourages student enthusiasm during discussions. Group activities contribute to increased social awareness and the application of values in everyday life. However, individual approaches and emotional support are still needed for students who lack confidence.Overall, the IPAS learning process is capable of shaping students’ social character by linking the material to real-life contexts relevant to them. These findings imply the need for developing more effective and student-centered teaching practices.

Abstract

Generation Z as a digital generation has unique characteristics such as high-tech capabilities, multitasking, and dependence on social media, which are challenges in the educational process, especially in instilling Islamic values. This study aims to examine the strategies that can be applied by Islamic values in this generation. The method used is literature research with a qualitative approach, through the analysis of various academic literature related to learning strategies, educational technology, and the characteristics of generation Z. The results of the study show that effective learning strategies must be adaptive, innovative, and technology-based, such as the use of blended learning, social media, learning applications, visual methods, and approaches that foster creativity and entrepreneurial values. In addition, the role of PAI teachers as educators, role models, motivators, and evaluators is very important in instilling Islamic values contextually. In conclusion, the success of instilling Islamic values in Generation Z is highly dependent on the ability of teachers to align learning approaches with the needs and digital lifestyles of this generation. Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ conceptual understanding of IPAS in the topic "Aku dan Kebutuhanku" through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model supported by LENTERA (Interactive Cabinet) media. The research was conducted as a two-cycle Classroom Action Research (CAR) in the fourth-grade class of SD 4 Bulungcangkring, involving 40 students. The results showed a significant increase in active participation and conceptual understanding after the implementation of the PBL method and LENTERA media. The average level of student understanding increased from 56% in the pre-cycle to 62.5% in the first cycle, and 82% in the second cycle, indicating a 26% improvement. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the PBL model supported by concrete and interactive media is highly beneficial and has proven to be effective in enhancing students’ active engagement and improving their understanding of IPAS content.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how literacy traditions are formed, nurtured, and practiced within the framework of adab (Islamic manners) at MI Nurul Hidayah, Urangagung, Sidoarjo. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, data were gathered through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that literacy practices at the school emphasize not only reading skills but also integrate Islamic moral values such as discipline, politeness, responsibility, and respect for knowledge and teachers. The support of teachers, the head of the madrasah, and parental involvement are key factors in cultivating a respectful and meaningful reading culture. This research underscores that cultivating literacy in Islamic elementary education can be a path to character building when framed with the values of adab.

Abstract

This study analyzes teachers' strategies for implementing differentiated learning within the Independent Curriculum for fourth-grade students in Phase B at SDN 24 Temalebba Palopo. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation from fourth-grade teachers. The results indicate that the Independent Curriculum has been implemented at SDN 24 Temalebba, particularly in the fourth grade, which adopted it earlier than other grades. The main strategy involves mapping students' learning needs through diagnostic assessments to identify their interests and readiness before the learning process. The implementation of differentiated learning at SDN 24 Temalebba is also influenced by supporting and inhibiting factors, which encompass both internal and external aspects from students and teachers.

Abstract

Mental health condition must be developed. In this study, the library research method was used. The researcher identified literature in the form of journals, both national and international, book sources, research results related to the topic being studied, namely examining general theories as a basis for the mental health development model in Islamic Educational Counseling. In the literature study, various studies that have been conducted by previous researchers regarding the topic to be studied were also traced. From the results of the study, the form of mental health development in Islamic Educational Counseling was found. First, There are several perspectives put forward by various Counseling experts regarding mental health. Alder, Carl Gustav Jung, Abraham Maslow, and Carl Rogers focused. Second, in the view of Islamic Educational Counseling, mental health is a form of mental health or a healthy soul that is manifested in the form of the desire for al muthmainnah. Third, in developing human mental health, the tahalli aspect is the main aspect that must be developed by Islamic Educational Counseling, namely by optimizing human character through the actualization of the values of the Asma'ul Husana.
