Abstract

The development of digital technology has had a significant impact on the book publishing industry, including for Islamic book publishers such as Razka Pustaka. With the presence of e-commerce, social media, and print-on-demand technology, Razka Pustaka is faced with the need to carry out digital transformation in order to maintain the continuity and develop its business in the industry 4.0 era. This study aims to analyze the digital transformation strategy implemented by Razka Pustaka, including the initiatives undertaken, challenges faced, and impacts caused. Using a qualitative case study approach, data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study show that Razka Pustaka has implemented various digital strategies such as digitalization of the publishing process, development of an online sales platform, and marketing through social media to expand market reach. In addition, the application of automation technology and integration of internal management systems has increased operational efficiency. The impacts of this digital transformation include increased productivity, time efficiency, and wider market expansion, both domestically and abroad. This study is expected to provide insight for other Islamic book publishers in developing business strategies that are more adaptive to changes in digital technology.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, the role and potential of the business sector are increasingly wide open, especially for groups interested in entrepreneurship. Amid the complexities of today’s economy, Fatayat women hold significant potential to become active and influential business players in the food industry. This study aims to identify and explore business opportunities in the digital era that can be introduced to Fatayat women through sistik food entrepreneurship as an attractive alternative. The research methods employed include surveys and structured interviews with a group of Fatayat women interested in engaging in the food business. Data were collected to assess their understanding of digital business potential, the challenges they might face, as well as their interest and readiness to run a sistik food business. The findings reveal that most respondents have limited understanding of digital business potential but show a high interest in learning and participating in sistik food entrepreneurship. Factors such as technological knowledge, initial capital, market access, and managerial skills are key considerations in starting this venture. By providing training, mentoring, and access to necessary resources, Fatayat women can become agents of change in leveraging digital technology to develop the sistik food business. This research contributes to identifying new business potential in the digital era while stimulating the interest and readiness of Fatayat women to engage in sustainable entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Technological advancements are continuously transforming the landscape of digital purchasing, particularly through smartphones, which enable various ordering activities, including online cinema ticket bookings. TIX ID serves as a platform that simplifies the process of purchasing cinema tickets from any location without the need to stand in line. Despite its advantages, users have raised concerns regarding the limited payment options, difficulties in cancelling ticket orders, lengthy account creation times, and challenges in submitting complaints. Therefore, it is essential for the TIX ID application to implement updates and modifications to enhance user convenience. Improving the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) can effectively address these issues through the Design Thinking methodology. The Design Thinking approach prioritizes a user-centered perspective, positioning user satisfaction as a key solution to existing problems while fostering innovative ideas. The effectiveness of these enhancements will be evaluated using the Single Ease Question (SEQ), where a score of 6.4 out of 7 indicates that the redesigned User Experience meets user needs and provides the necessary features within the TIX ID application.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of communication in improving the mental health of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Cahaya Cimahi students. The focus of this study includes communication strategies carried out by teachers and parents in supporting students' mental health, as well as the impact of effective communication on students' emotional and mental well-being, including the reduction of stress, anxiety, and depression. In addition, this study identifies the role of various parties (teachers, parents, and peers) in creating a communication environment that supports mental health, as well as school programs or initiatives that have been implemented. The results of the study show that directed and supportive communication has a significant impact on improving students' mental health.

Abstract

This study analyses the reflection of Pancasila values in the news program “Apa Kabar Indonesia Pagi” on TvOne. Using the critical discourse analysis method, it evaluates how news completeness, narrative delivery, and perspectives align with Pancasila principles, such as justice, humanity, and unity. The findings reveal that the analysed news effectively incorporates these values through empathetic, neutral, and in-depth reporting. The study also identifies challenges in implementing Pancasila values in the digital era, including the spread of misinformation and social polarization, while proposing solutions such as digital literacy and Pancasila-based character education. The conclusion emphasizes that media, through ethical information dissemination, plays a strategic role in reinforcing national values.

Abstract

The case of bullying in the Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) in Anesthesiology at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) became a prominent issue in the media after allegations of psychological pressure that led to fatal consequences for a program participant. The role of the mass media, especially online media such as Kompas.com and Detik.com, is crucial in framing the news related to this case. The media's framing affects how the public perceives the issue, shapes public opinion, and encourages action or policy changes from the relevant parties.This study aims to analyze how Kompas.com and Detik.com framed the coverage of the PPDS Anesthesiology Undip case. Using Robert N. Entman’s framing analysis model, this study examines framing elements such as problem definition, causes, moral evaluation, and proposed solutions in the news coverage. This research also identifies the differences and similarities in framing by both media outlets. The findings reveal distinct framing approaches between the two media outlets. Kompas.com emphasized structural issues, particularly the inadequate oversight systems and hierarchical culture within medical education. In contrast, Detik.com focused on event chronology and emotional impact. Despite these differences, both outlets consistently advocated for systemic reforms in medical education to prevent future bullying incidents. This research contributes to communication studies literature by examining media framing of sensitive social issues and provides insights for mass media organizations in delivering balanced coverage while promoting educational reform advocacy.

Abstract

This research focuses on the critical discourse analysis of Teun A. van Dijk's paradigm as applied to the news article published on Detik.com titled "Viral! Husband in East Jakarta Was Assaulted and Dragged by a Car When He Caught His Wife Cheating." The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with techniques including observation and reading, data classification, analysis, presentation, and conclusion. The findings indicate that the news article aligns with the critical discourse analysis model, encompassing text structure (macrostructure, superstructure, microstructure), social cognition, and social context as outlined in Teun A. van Dijk's theory. This research contributes to discourse analysis scholarship by illustrating how van Dijk's theoretical framework can reveal the underlying structural and social dimensions of contemporary digital news media.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of youth in building religious-based social awareness through effective communication. This study was conducted through community service activities carried out with the Islamic Broadcasting Communication (KPI) Student Association at the Nahdlatul Ulama Institute Tasikmalaya. The focus of the study includes the definition and concept of effective communication, the role of youth in socio-religious issues, integration of religious values in communication, communication strategies, media, and challenges faced. The methods used include group discussions, interactive counselling, and environmental and social studies. The results of the service showed that effective communication with a religious approach can increase understanding, involvement, and real action in solving social issues. Communication approaches that integrate the values of honesty, empathy and fairness strengthen messaging and create deeper emotional connections. Youth play a strategic role as a link between traditional and modern generations through the utilisation of digital media such as Instagram and TikTok, which allows for widespread and interactive dissemination of religious messages. Challenges faced, such as cultural resistance and different interpretations of religious values, can be overcome through collaboration with local communities and the involvement of community leaders as mediators.

Abstract

Along with the development of time and technology, currently library services have transformed and adapted to technology, one of the transformations is digital libraries. Digital libraries allow users to access various information sources anytime, anywhere, without time and location restrictions. The research method used in this research is a literature study method, this method is carried out by examining various literature studies needed in the research, data collection techniques using data such as journals, books, and web references. The results of this study reveal, to achieve effective management of digital library services can implement several things, namely: 1) Digital Collection Management, 2) Use of information management systems, 3) Interactive services for users. Then, the factors that support the success of digital library management include, reliable technology infrastructure, quality content and according to user needs, accessibility and easy-to-use interfaces, cooperation with other institutions such as universities or research institutions, and regular assessment and feedback to improve service quality. The impacts of digital library management on information access are: 1) Easier access to information, 2) Availability of Richer Materials, 3) Ease of Searching or Sorting, 4) Cooperation and interaction.

Abstract

This article discusses how the structure of critical discourse analysis in Norman Fairclough's research model can dissect and analyze the ideology conveyed by the author through a newspaper article published in 'Kompas' on December 3, 2024. The method used for the analysis involves a functional approach, paying attention to the social and cultural contexts to uncover and understand the author's ideology and the context being conveyed through the article titled 'Selamat Tinggal Paspor Indonesia'. According to Norman Fairclough's model, the analysis is divided into three structural levels: microstructural, mesostructural, and sociocultural studies. Findings demonstrate how media discourse shapes public understanding of complex socio-economic issues, particularly regarding human capital flight and national development disparities between Indonesia and Singapore. This analysis contributes to our understanding of how media texts influence public perception of national identity and economic mobility in Southeast Asia.
