Abstract

This article aims to determine the use of Flash Card Media in improving the ability to read the Qur'an in early childhood, increase the ability to read the Koran in early childhood using Flash Card Media, and analyze the factors of using Flash Media. Card in improving the ability to read the Koran in early childhood. The research approach used is non-CAR descriptive qualitative research with data obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the use of Flash Card Media in improving the ability to read the Qur'an in early childhood has been maximally achieved and has a very large influence in implementing learning, as well as learning materials and the ability of educators to be professional in improving the ability to read the Qur'an. 'an in early childhood by using flash card media.

Abstract

The topic of this research is The Effect of Grammar Translation Method in Descriptive Text for Students’ Writing Skill. The objective of this research were to find how the Grammar Translation Method can improve students’ writing skill through descriptive text for eleventh grade students at SMK Yapalis Krian in the academic year of 2019/2020 and whether the grammar translation method can be used as a method in improving the students’ achievement of writing skill. The researchers was applied pre-experimental research in this study. The steps of pre-experimental research were given test and treatment. In gathering the data, the researcher used a test in the form of writing content about descriptive text. The result of this research showed that using grammar translation method was good. It was proven by the improvement mean difference of pre-test and post-test after treatment. The means of the pre-test was 60.85, and the post-test was 74.63. Therefore, it can be suggessted that grammar translation method can be used as the alternative method in teaching which especially to improve writing skill.

Abstract

This study was conducted in order to determine the differences between the Altman, Zmijewski, Fulmer and Ohlson methods in predicting financial distress and to find out which method is the most significant in predicting financial distress in packaging and plastic companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In this study using quantitative research methods. The object of research is packaging and plastic companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2019 period. The data used is secondary data, namely financial reports published on the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data collection technique used purposive sampling with the number of samples obtained as many as 9 companies. The data analysis technique uses a comparison of the average Kruskal Wallis test on the SPSS 18 application. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there are significant differences between the Altman, Zmijewski, Fulmer and Ohlson methods in predicting financial distress in packaging and plastic companies. And from this research it is known that the Altman method is a method that has the highest average value, which means the most significant method among other methods with a value of 113.69, while the Zmijewski method is 48.31, the Fulmer method is 103.31, and the Ohlson method 24.69.

Abstract

The application of strategy in the learning process can be crucial to support the students’ competence. This study is descriptive - survey research data was obtained from the questionnaire. This study aims to determine the use of the PQRST strategy to improve the reading ability of class XI BHS students at SMAN 1 Porong. The participants in this study were 31 students. In this questionnaire, the researcher gave 10 questions related to learning English, especially in reading and learning after being given the strategy. Based on the questionnaire, it was found that student's like to be taught using the PQRST strategy. It can be seen from the questionnaire question, more student's choose Yes than No and only some students choose sometimes. This is reinforced from the results of the questionnaire that the application of the PQRST strategy is able to help students improve their reading skills and students understand the content of the text from reading.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years in Mutiara Hati Krian Sidoarjo Kindergarten through storytelling method assisted by picture card media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles with three meetings in each cycle. The data collection technique used is descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative. The indicator of success in this study is if the average value of children's speaking ability through storytelling method assisted by picture card media has reached the very well developed criteria (BSB) with a percentage of 75%-100%. The results of this study indicate an increase in children's speaking skills through storytelling methods assisted by picture card media at Mutiara Hati Krian Sidoarjo Kindergarten gradually from pre-cycle, first cycle and second cycle. This is evidenced by the increase in the average speaking ability of children in the pre-cycle by 33%, increasing to 58% in the first cycle of action and reaching 92% in the second cycle of action. The results of this study are expected to provide information to institutions that handle early childhood or the general public who need information about the application of picture card-assisted storytelling methods to improve speaking skills in children aged 5-6 years. Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to find out the behavior of adolescents who are raised by normal families. (2) knowing the behavior of teenagers who are raised by broken home families and (3) knowing the comparison or differences in the behavior of teenagers who are raised by normal families and broken home families. The research method used a mixed method research or a combination of quantitative and qualitative with a population of 150 teenagers living in RW.03, RW.05 and RW.06 and obtained a sample of 60 teenagers to study. Then the data analysis technique used in the study used the independent sample t-test formula. Based on the research that has been done, the results of the research are as follows: (1) the behavior of adolescents who are cared for by normal families using an average analysis technique that has been through validity and reliability tests gets a score of 3.95 which is in the interval of 3.67 – 5.00 which means that the behavior of adolescents is quite good. (2) and the behavior of adolescents who are cared for by broken home families using an average analysis technique that has been through validity and reliability tests obtains a score of 2.72 which is in the interval 2.34 - 3.66, which means that adolescent behavior is classified as poor. . (3) based on the independent sample t-test test output in the equal variances assumed section, it is known that the value of sig.(2-tailed) is 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of psychological well being experienced by students. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between body image and psychological well being in students of SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Porong. This research is a quantitative research with correlational quantitative method. The population in this study were all students of SMA Muhamadiyah 4 Porong, totaling 62 students. The sample in this study amounted to 62 students with saturated sampling technique. In the data collection technique, the researcher uses a psychological scale, this type of data collection uses a Likert scale in the form of a body image scale (ɑ = 0.797) and a psychological well being scale (ɑ = 0.948). The data analysis technique used Pearson's product-moment correlation with the help of SPSS 22.0. The results of the data analysis of this study indicate that the correlation coefficient (rxy) is 0.246 with a significance of 0.027 <0.05, which means that there is a significant positive relationship between body image and psychological well being in students of SMA Muhamadiyah 4 Porong. The effect of body image on psychological well being in this study was 6.1%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Non Performing Loans (NPL) before and after the announcement of the COVID-19 pandemic in state-owned banking companies listed on the stock exchange. Indonesian effect. The research population includes all state-owned banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2020 period. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample data taken are BUMN banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as many as 4 BUMN banking companies listed on the IDX. The data analysis method used is the paired sample t test with SPSS for windows. The results of this study indicate: there are differences in Return On Assets (ROA) in banking companies between before and after the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic, there are differences in Return On Equity (ROE) in banking companies between before and after the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic, there are differences in Net Profit Margin (NPM) in banking companies between before and after the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic, there is no difference in Non Performing Loans (NPL) in banking companies between before and after the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the ratio of expected return and portfolio risk in the formation of an optimal portfolio using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and Single Index methods. This study uses a quantitative approach. The object of this research is the LQ45 stock for the 2017-2019 period. The research sample amounted to 30 companies selected through purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the optimal portfolio formed using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and Single Index methods resulted in 7 candidate stocks consisting of ICBP, BBCA, JSMR, SMGR, BBRI, MNCN, INCO. Where the results of the calculation of the level of the expected return of the portfolio using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) method is 0.0241 and the portfolio risk level is 0.010. Meanwhile, the level of portfolio expected return using the single index method is 0.0372 and the portfolio risk level is 0.0136. After the independent t-test was carried out, there was no difference in the expected return of the portfolio between the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and Single Index methods, while in portfolio risk testing there were differences between the CAPM and Single Index methods.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Effect of Leverage, Liquidity, Fixed Asset Intensity, and Firm Size on Tax Aggressiveness (Study on Consumer Goods Industrial Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2016-2019 Period). The sampling method used is purposive sampling method. The number of companies that were sampled in this study were 26 companies in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector listed on the IDX in the 2016-2019 period. The data used is secondary data. The data analysis method used in this study is Multiple Linear Regression with the help of the SPSS 23 analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that Leverage Affects Tax Aggressiveness in Consumer Goods Industry sector companies for the 2016-2019 period. Liquidity Affects Tax Aggressiveness in Companies in the Consumer Goods Industry sector for the 2016-2019 period. Intensity of Fixed Assets Affects Tax Aggressiveness in Consumer Goods Industry sector companies for the 2016-2019 period.
