Abstract

Motivasi  berprestasi  merupakan  salah satu factor yang berpengaruh  terhadap munculnya prestasi belajar. Rendahnya prestasi belajar menjadi permasalahan komunitas yang bisa ditingkatkan dengan intervensi mileu dan komunitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intervensi mileu dan komunitas berbasis  choice  theory  terhadap  motivasi  berprestasi  anak asuh Panti  Asuhan  Aisyiyah Putri Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one group pretest posttest. Pretes dan postes berupa skala motivasi berprestasi diberikan pada satu kelompok. Subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 15 orang. Analisa data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan paired t-test menunjukkan bahwa t=-485; p=0,635; p>0,05. Hal ini berarti bahwa tidak ada perbedaan motivasi berprestasi anak asuh antara sebelum dengan sesudah intervensi. Meskipun demikian, dengan nilai mean=-2,9333 bernilai negatif menunjukkan bahwa ada kecenderungan peningkatan motivasi berprestasi setelah dilakukan intervensi dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 2,933 poin.

Abstract

Recently, students often experience stress due to various demands, such as college assignments and thesiss. This study aims to determine the relationship between gratitude and subjective well-being in students of the Faculty of Psychology and Education, Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The method in this study uses a correlational quantitative approach. The sample in this study were students of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo, totaling 299 students. The sampling technique was carried out by random sampling method. Data collection used two psychological scales with a Likert scale model for gratitude scale and a Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule for subjective well-being scale. Data analysis using the product moment correlation test technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between gratitude and subjective well-being in students of the Faculty of Psychology and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, with a correlation coefficient of 0.093 with a significance of 0.017 > 0.05. The determinant coefficient test shows a result of 0.006 (R Square), which explains that in this study, the gratitude variable has an effective effect of 0.6% on subjective well-being. The test results show the hypothesis can be accepted.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low achievement motivation of students such as not doing homework on time, not doing assignments in class on time. This study uses a quantitative approach. The type of research used is correlational which aims to determine the relationship between variables, namely the relationship between teachers and students with achievement motivation. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sampling technique, namely 30 students of class V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darussalam Jogosatru Sukodono. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The technique used in this research data analysis is statistical technique using Pearson Product Moment correlation calculation. with the help of SPSS 17.0 software for windows. Based on the test results obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.639 with a significance of 0.001 (<0.05). In conclusion, the hypothesis is accepted, that there is a positive relationship between teacher-student relationships and achievement motivation in fifth grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darussalam Jogosatru Sukodono. This means that the higher the teacher-student relationship, the higher the student's achievement motivation, and vice versa

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of psychological well being experienced by students. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between body image and psychological well being in students of SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Porong. This research is a quantitative research with correlational quantitative method. The population in this study were all students of SMA Muhamadiyah 4 Porong, totaling 62 students. The sample in this study amounted to 62 students with saturated sampling technique. In the data collection technique, the researcher uses a psychological scale, this type of data collection uses a Likert scale in the form of a body image scale (ɑ = 0.797) and a psychological well being scale (ɑ = 0.948). The data analysis technique used Pearson's product-moment correlation with the help of SPSS 22.0. The results of the data analysis of this study indicate that the correlation coefficient (rxy) is 0.246 with a significance of 0.027 <0.05, which means that there is a significant positive relationship between body image and psychological well being in students of SMA Muhamadiyah 4 Porong. The effect of body image on psychological well being in this study was 6.1%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of adolescent girls experiencing low self-confidence, and aims to determine the relationship between body image and self-confidence in adolescent girls at SMK PGRI2 Sidoarjo. This study uses a quantitative methodology with a correlational approach and uses a psychological scale measuring instrument, namely the self-confidence scale and body image scale. The sample in this study was 191 adolescent girls from 413 female adolescent population who were taken using stratified random sampling technique, namely sampling based on a level (strata) in population members. Members of the population are divided into several levels (stratification) based on the characters that exist in the population. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson correlation technique using the SPSS 17 for windows program. The results showed that there was a correlation of 0.444 with a significance of 0.000 and an R Square score of 0.197, which means that the hypothesis is accepted. There is a positive relationship between body image and self-confidence, and the effective contribution of body image affects self-confidence. 19.7%

Abstract

This study aims to describe students who have children with special needs and describe what factors affect mothers who have expectional children. The method used in this study is qualitative with case study desig. Research subjects were mothers of expectional children with the type of mental retardation, hearing impairment and cerebral palsy. Determination of research subjects using purposive sampling. Data collection method used are interview and observation techniques. The results of this study indicated that the description of acceptance of self from the three mothers has expectional children, namely accepting the conditions experienced, still ditions experienced. Factors that influense the formation of self acceptanse are education, social support, family and religious parenting.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of Al-Insyirah contemplation to reduce the academic stress level on Islamic university students. Al-Insyirah contemplation is an Islamic term that related to deep contemplation and visualization for the psychological aspects of the surah of Al-Insyirah. This research used the pre-post experimental design. The participants were 16 students who experience academic stress. Before the subjects were trained by Al-Insyirah contemplation, academic stress scale was administered to measure the academic stress level. Then Al-Insyirah contemplation were trained to them, which consists of six steps. After two weeks, the academic stress scale was measured again. The result of before and after the contemplation were analysed using t-test analysis. The results show that Al-Insyirah contemplation could lower the students' academic stress. Consequently, students after using this contemplation are able to think positively to solve various challenges and difficulties in campus life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya fenomena mahasiswa yang mengalami kecemasan menghadapi ujian proposal skripsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara religiusitas dengan kecemasan menghadapi ujian proposal skripsi pada mahasiswa semester 7 Fakultas Psikologi dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Variabel yang terdapat pada penelitian ini adalah religiusitas sebagai variabel bebas dan kecemasan menghadapi ujian proposal skripsi sebagai variabel terikat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Fakultas Psikologi dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo dengan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini 195 mahasiswa yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Sampling Insidental yaitu dimana teknik penentuan sampel ini berdasarkan kebetulan, yaitu siapa saja yang secara kebetulan/tidak sengaja bertemu dengan peneliti dapat dijadikan sebagai sampel apabila orang yang ditemui cocok menjadi sumber data. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik korelasi Spearman’s Rho menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 20 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara religiusitas dengan kecemasan menghadapi ujian proposal skripsi. Artinya, semakin tinggi religiusitas yang dimiliki mahasiswa maka semakin rendah kecemasan menghadapi ujian proposal skripsi yang dialami mahasiswa. Jadi, hipotesis awal yang peneliti ajukan dapat diterima.

Abstract

Achievement motivation is a determinant of student achievement, students should have high achievement motivation regardless of the circumstances, when motivation for achievement is low, it will affect student achievement. Therefore it is necessary to look for factors that influence achievement motivation. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and achievement motivation and how much influence social support has on achievement motivation on students at the AL-Islam Krian High School Sidoarjo. This research was conducted with a quantitative correlational research method, using proportional sampling. with a sample of 382 students. The measurement tool uses two scales, namely social support scale and achievement motivation scale using the Spearman product moment correlation technique with the help of IBM Statistics 20 Version for Windows. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between social support and achievement motivation. The implication of this research is to develop student achievement and provide interventions to improve the quality of education. Increasing the quality of education to the maximum can increase social support and achievement motivation in students.
