Abstract

This study aims to see the description of emotion regulation in kindergarten teachers in Sidoarjo sub-district. The data collection method in this study used descriptive quantitative methods. The variable of this research is emotion regulation. The population of this research is all 315 kindergarten teachers in Sidoarjo sub-district, with a sample of 200 teachers using random sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study used a Likert scale model. Analysis of the data in this study using SPSS 16.0 for windows. From the data analysis shows the value of r = 0,895 which means the emotional regulation scale is reliable. And in the category of emotional regulation, kindergarten teachers are in the medium category with a percentage value of (74%) indicating that kindergarten teachers in Sidoarjo sub-district are quite good. Highlights: The study focuses on describing emotion regulation in kindergarten teachers in Sidoarjo sub-district. Data collection method involves a sample of 200 teachers using random sampling technique. Analysis of data using SPSS 16.0 shows reliable emotional regulation scale and medium level of emotional regulation among kindergarten teachers in Sidoarjo sub-district (74%). Abstract

This study aims to determine how students respond in learning English using animated videos in grade I SD PLUS FATIMAH AZ – ZAHRO' Sidoarjo. This research is a qualitative research in which the data is taken from the analysis of direct observation and interviews with English class teachers. Collecting data in this study using documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that student responses are divided into three components, namely cognitive, affective, and conative. This study also shows that students in one class are divided into three parts in the ability to understand English learning, namely the competent level, medium level, and low level. Lack of interest in learning English and internal and external factors such as family background and students' skills or abilities are one of the causes of students' lack of response to learning English. Highlights: The study focuses on understanding student responses in learning English using animated videos in a specific grade and school in Sidoarjo. The research employs qualitative methods, gathering data through direct observation, interviews with English teachers, and documentation. The study identifies three components of student responses: cognitive, affective, and conative, and highlights the varying levels of English understanding among students. The lack of interest and external/internal factors also affect students' response to English learning. Abstract

This study investigates the impact of liquidity, capital structure, firm size, and effective tax rate on the profitability of companies within the automotive sub-sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2020. Employing purposive sampling, a sample of 12 companies was selected, and secondary data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that liquidity, capital structure, firm size, and effective tax rate each individually influence profitability within the automotive sub-sector. Furthermore, when considered together, these factors exhibit a simultaneous impact on profitability. These results contribute to a deeper understanding of the financial dynamics within the automotive industry, offering valuable insights for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers in the global context. Highlight: Comprehensive Analysis: This study examines the impact of key financial factors on automotive sub-sector profitability. Strategic Sample Selection: Purposive sampling ensures a focused and representative sample of 12 companies. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making in students at SMK Pharmacy Cendekia Medika Nusantara Pandaan. The hypothesis proposed by the researcher is that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making in students at SMK Pharmacy Cendekia Medika Nusantara Pandaan. The quantitative method was chosen by the researcher to achieve the objectives of this study. Respondents in this study used a saturated sample by using the entire population to be used as a research sample. This study uses a self-efficacy scale and a career decision-making scale with reliability 0,819 and 0,767. The results of the product moment showed that the rxy correlation coefficient was 0.354 with a significance of 0.001 (P <0.05), meaning that there was a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making in students at the Mdika Nusantara Pandaan Pharmacy Scholar Vocational School. The effective contribution of self efficacy 12,5% towards career decision making. This means that there are 87,5% of other factors that influence outside the self-efficacy. Highlights: Positive relationship: The study establishes a positive correlation between self-efficacy and career decision making in students, suggesting that higher self-efficacy levels are associated with better career decision-making abilities. Quantitative method: The researcher employs a quantitative approach to gather and analyze data, providing numerical evidence for the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making. Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the influence of supervision, work discipline, and the work environment on employee performance. A quantitative approach with hypothesis testing was employed, utilizing multiple linear regression analysis in SPSS version 22. The research sample consisted of 55 employees from an undisclosed organization. Primary data were collected through direct distribution of questionnaires measured using a Likert scale, validated, and tested for reliability. The findings reveal that supervision, work discipline, and the work environment have partial positive effects on employee performance, and collectively, they significantly enhance employee performance. This study contributes valuable insights into the multifaceted factors affecting employee performance, offering practical implications for organizations seeking to optimize their workforce productivity. Abstract

This research is motivated by the number of Consumptive Behaviors of SMK YAPALIS Krian students. This study aims to determine the description of consumptive behavior in students of SMK YAPALIS Krian. The variable in this study is Consumptive Behavior. The sample in this study were students of SMK YAPALIS Krian, totaling 286 students of grade 10 to grade 12. Determination of the sample using proportionate stratified random sampling on students of SMK YAPALIS Krian. Data collection was carried out using a Consumptive Behavior psychology scale with a Likert scale model. The analysis technique used descriptive quantitative with the help of SPSS 18.0 for windows. The results of the analysis of Consumptive Behavior in YAPALIS Krian Vocational High School students obtained the results of 21 students who had very high Consumptive Behavior, 63 students had high Consumptive Behavior, 116 students had moderate Consumptive Behavior, 67 students who have Low Consumptive Behavior and 19 students have Low Consumptive Behavior, it can be said that YAPALIS Krian Vocational School students have Consumptive Behavior with a Medium Category tending to the top Highlights: Consumptive behavior prevalence: The study highlights the distribution of consumptive behavior among students of SMK YAPALIS Krian, indicating the varying levels of consumption exhibited by the students. Sample size and methodology: The study involved a sample of 286 students from grades 10 to 12, selected through proportionate stratified random sampling, providing a comprehensive representation of the student population. Descriptive analysis results: The analysis revealed that a significant portion of the students exhibited moderate to high levels of consumptive behavior, emphasizing the need for further investigation and potential intervention to address this behavior pattern. Abstract

This study employs a quantitative approach to investigate the causal relationships between Quality of Work Life (QWL), Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), Work Motivation, and Employee Performance within a sample of 50 respondents from a tollroad operator. The findings reveal that QWL, OCB, and work motivation each have a significant positive impact on employee performance. These results underscore the importance of creating a conducive work environment, promoting positive organizational behavior, and motivating employees to achieve higher performance levels. This study contributes to the understanding of factors that drive employee performance and offers practical implications for organizations aiming to improve their workforce's effectiveness and productivity. Abstract

This study is intended to explain how job satisfaction on UD Bumbu Masak Machmudah, Sidoarjo. In this research, the writer uses descriptive quantitative method using a single variable. The number of samples in this study were 135 respondents. The respondents in this study were all UD. Bumbu Masak Machmudah The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sampling technique to obtain research data. In collecting data, the authors distributed questionnaires to respondents and also interviews. In proving and analyzing this, validity and reliability tests, descriptive tests, and Crosstabs tests are used. The test results show that 17.8% of which 24 employees prove that employee job satisfaction is high, and the highest aspect of job satisfaction is the compensation aspect, which is 15.2%. And there is no difference between the job satisfaction of male and female employees and there is a difference between job satisfaction for employees with elementary, middle, and high school graduates. Highlights: The study focuses on job satisfaction in UD Bumbu Masak Machmudah, Sidoarjo, using a descriptive quantitative method with a single variable. A sample size of 135 respondents was chosen through saturated sampling, and data was collected through questionnaires and interviews. Abstract

This study investigates the impact of compensation and leadership on employee performance, with work discipline serving as an intervening variable. Using a saturated sample of 37 employees at an undisclosed organization, the research employs Partial Least Square analysis. The findings reveal that compensation and leadership both significantly influence work discipline and employee performance. Moreover, work discipline significantly affects employee performance. Notably, leadership exerts a significant influence on employee performance through work discipline, while compensation directly does not. These results underscore the critical role of leadership and compensation in shaping work discipline and, ultimately, employee performance, offering valuable insights for organizational management and human resource practices. Highlights: Compensation and Leadership Influence: Both compensation and leadership play pivotal roles in shaping work discipline and employee performance. Abstract

This quantitative study aims to investigate the impact of job insecurity and work environment on job satisfaction, with job stress serving as the mediating variable, within the context of a manufacturing company. Data were collected from 54 employees through questionnaire surveys. The findings reveal that job insecurity and work environment have a significant influence on job satisfaction, with work-related stress playing a significant mediating role. Interestingly, job insecurity and work environment do not directly affect job satisfaction, but their effects are mediated by job stress. These results shed light on the complex interplay of factors influencing job satisfaction and highlight the importance of addressing job stress to enhance overall employee well-being and satisfaction in the workplace. Highlights: Job stress mediates the relationship between job insecurity and work environment with job satisfaction. Quantitative study conducted in a manufacturing company with 54 employee participants. Findings emphasize the importance of addressing job stress to enhance employee well-being and satisfaction in the workplace.
