Abstract

The purpose of this study alexistoto was to determine whether the application of loose part learning media can improve students' numeracy skills in mathematics learning. This study employed a quantitative method using a One-Group Pre-Posttest design with a sample comprising 16 Year 2 students. Data were collected through validity tests (trial questions) and reliability (α = 0.7), then analysed using the alexistoto Wilcoxon test with SPSS 21. The results showed a significant increase (Sig. 0.001 < 0.05), with the post-test mean (66.56) higher than the pre-test mean (52.19). This finding demonstrates that loose parts are effective in improving students’ numeracy skills. Consequently, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It can therefore be concluded that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes between the alexistoto pre-test and post-test, indicating a significant change following the intervention. This confirms that there is an effect of using loose parts as a learning medium on the numeracy skills of Year 2 pupils at SDN 09 Sayan.

Abstract

One of the important skills that had to be mastered by teachers was the ability to apply teaching variations, because a lack of this skill often created problems during the learning process. This study aimed to determine the Fiqh teachers’ skills in applying teaching variations, students’ learning motivation in Fiqh subjects, and the influence of teachers’ teaching variation skills on students’ learning motivation at MAS Al-Maksum. This study used a quantitative research method. The population consisted of all students of MAS Al-Maksum, totaling 130 students, while the sample included 26 students. The research variables were teachers’ skills in applying teaching variations (X) and students’ learning motivation (Y). Data were analyzed using the product moment correlation formula. The findings showed that there was a significant relationship between teachers’ skills in applying teaching variations and students’ learning motivation. The statistical analysis indicated that the correlation coefficient value was r_xy = 0.40, which was categorized as a high correlation. In addition, the calculation result showed that t_count was higher than t_table at the 5% significance level (2.149 > 1.71). The percentage of teachers’ skills in applying teaching variations reached 76.29%, while students’ learning motivation reached 84.13%. These findings indicated that teachers’ skills in applying teaching variations influenced students’ learning motivation by 16%. Therefore, the use of varied teaching methods played an important role in increasing students’ motivation to learn Fiqh subjects.

Abstract

Teaching variation skills are essential for creating engaging learning environments, and the development of digital technology has had a significant impact on the field of education, including Fiqh learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Primary Schools). The use of digital media, such as instructional videos, interactive presentations, educational applications and online learning platforms, can help improve the effectiveness of the learning process. This study aims to describe the use of digital media in Fiqh learning for Year 5 pupils in the digital age. The research method employed is a literature review based on the analysis of various relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that digital media can enhance pupils’ motivation to learn, facilitate their understanding of learning materials, increase pupil participation, and support independent learning. However, several challenges remain, including limited technological facilities, teachers’ digital competencies, and the supervision of pupils’ use of digital devices. Therefore, collaboration between schools, teachers, and parents is necessary to optimise the use of digital media in Fiqh learning.

Abstract

Children’s education is a fundamental aspect of the formation of human character and personality. One highly effective educational method in Islam is the method of setting a good example (uswah hasanah). This article aims to examine the concept of children’s education through the method of setting a good example based on a thematic study of Surah Al-Ahzab, verse 21, of the Qur’an. This research employs a qualitative method using a library research approach, which involves gathering data from the Qur’an, hadith, exegetical works, and relevant literature on Islamic education. The research findings indicate that Surah Al-Ahzab, verse 21, affirms the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the best role model for humanity. The concept of exemplary behaviour in this verse has significant implications for children’s education, particularly in the development of character, morals, spirituality and social skills. Parents and educators are required to be role models capable of setting a tangible example through their daily behaviour. The role-modelling approach has proven to be more effective than purely instructional methods, as children tend to learn through imitating their surroundings. Therefore, child education based on role modelling is a relevant strategy for shaping a generation with Islamic character.

Abstract

This study explores the role of the exemplary behavior of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at MTs Al-Hidayah Wajak in shaping student religiosity. The findings indicate that teacher exemplary behavior functions as a tangible model for applying Islamic values in daily life, creating a religious environment that supports the internalization of religious values. Although challenges such as social media influence and time constraints exist, institutional support and digital technology can enhance the effectiveness of role modeling. This study concludes that the exemplary behavior of PAI teachers is a crucial strategy in sustainable character education, shaping students who are both academically excellent and morally mature.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop digital-based question card media and to examine its effectiveness in improving students’ ability to understand Pancasila values at Annysa Private Elementary School. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consisted of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were fourth-grade students. The instruments used included expert validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, as well as pretest and posttest assessments. The results indicated that the developed media was categorized as highly feasible based on evaluations by material, language, and media experts. During the implementation stage, there was a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, with the average pretest score of 52.55 increasing to 80.95 in the posttest. In addition, student and teacher responses to the use of the media were categorized as very good. The digital-based question card media also enhanced students’ engagement, motivation, and active participation in the learning process. Thus, the developed media proved to be effective and could be used as an innovative alternative in Civics (PPKn) learning to help students understand and internalize Pancasila values in a more contextual and applicable manner in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of emoji flashcards in enhancing the speaking skills of participants in the ‘Public Speaking for Kids’ programme (ages 7–11) at The Jannah Institute, Jember. The study was motivated by concerns regarding children’s speaking abilities—specifically, low self-confidence stemming from experiences of bullying. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, utilising purposive area and purposive sampling techniques to select two key informants and two supporting informants. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation, and subsequently analysed through the stages of data collection, reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity was verified through prolonged engagement, persistent observation and triangulation of sources and techniques. The results indicate that emoji flashcards serve as a positive stimulus for improving speaking skills. Simple and relevant emoji images help children understand the material, construct coherent storylines, and link visual information to their own experiences. Improvements in speaking skills were observed in areas such as pronunciation, intonation, fluency, expression, and accuracy of content. Therefore, emoji flashcards can serve as an effective alternative learning tool to support the development of children’s verbal and non-verbal communication skills within non-formal education settings.

Abstract

Digital gacorslot transformation has become an integral aspect of progress in Islamic education, particularly in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at madrasas. This study aims to comprehensively describe the impact and significance of digital transformation in improving students' learning outcomes in PAI at MTsN 6 Hulu Sungai Utara, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. Employing a descriptive qualitative method with a case study design, the research collected data through field observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model, encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that digital transformation positively influences the effectiveness of PAI learning. Teachers have started to utilize digital platforms such as E-learning Madrasah, Google Classroom, and Qur'an Digital applications to enhance interaction and student participation. Learners demonstrated increased motivation and comprehension, although several challenges remain, including limited internet access, inadequate digital tools, and unequal digital literacy levels. The discussion highlights that the success of digital transformation largely depends on teachers' readiness as digital facilitators, institutional infrastructure support, and students' active engagement in using learning media. This transformation also drives a paradigm shift from conventional teaching methods toward more contextual, creative, and collaborative learning models. The study concludes that the implementation of digital technology in PAI learning at MTsN 6 Hulu Sungai Utara significantly contributes to improving both learning outcomes and educational interaction quality. Nevertheless, continuous professional development for teachers and institutional policy support are essential to ensure that digital transformation proceeds effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

This study explores the use of Google Docs as a collaborative tool to support the revision process in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) academic writing. Employing a qualitative descriptive research design, the study involved six EFL university students enrolled in an academic toto12 writing course at a private university in Indonesia. Data were collected through an open-ended questionnaire and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that Google Docs facilitated continuous and multi-stage revision through features such as commenting, suggestion mode, and real-time editing. Peer toto12 feedback played a central role in shaping students’ revisions, particularly in improving clarity, organization, and language accuracy. Students also perceived several benefits, including increased awareness of writing weaknesses, greater participation, and reduced anxiety during revision. However, challenges such as unclear feedback, unequal participation, and technical issues were also identified. The study concludes that Google Docs supports a process-oriented and interactive approach to revision and has the potential to enhance collaborative academic writing when accompanied by appropriate pedagogical guidance

Abstract

This research is based on the phenomenon that improving the quality of education in Indonesia, particularly at SDN 17 Singkawang, requires an effective toto22 principal role in improving the performance of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. This research focuses on three main aspects of the principal's role in improving PAI teacher performance at SDN 17 Singkawang: (1) planning the principal's role in motivating PAI teachers, (2) implementing the principal's role in improving PAI teacher performance, and (3) evaluating the principal's role in improving PAI teacher performance. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies with the headteacher and PAI teachers at SDN 17 Singkawang as research subjects. The results show that 1) the headteacher's planning at SDN 17 Singkawang to motivate PAI teachers involves the preparation of a comprehensive School Work Plan (RKS), including professional development through training and teacher competency development. 2) In its implementation, the headteacher functions as a supervisor who provides guidance and constructive feedback to Islamic Religious Education teachers. 3) The evaluation conducted showed a significant increase in discipline, creativity, and student learning outcomes, which reflects the effectiveness of the headteacher's role in improving the performance of Islamic Religious Education teachers. The headteacher also actively provides motivation and rewards to teachers for their achievements, as well as developing a harmonious and collaborative working atmosphere among teachers and school staff.
