Current Research in Education: Conference Series (CRECS) Journal is a conference proceedings journal that publishes scientific papers presented at conferences, workshops, and symposia in the field of education. The journal aims to disseminate academic works that have been presented in scholarly forums so that they can be accessed more widely through online publication. AIMS: CRECS promotes research in the broad field of relating to Primary and Early Childhood education fields with particular respect to Indonesia, but not limited to authorship or topical coverage within the region. Contributions are expected from senior researchers, project managers, research administrators and PhD students at advanced stages of their research, representing both public organizations and private industry. Equally, the journal if intended for scholars and students, reseachers working at research organizations and government agencies, and also for enterprises undertaking applied R&D to lead innovations. The editorial contents and elements that comprise the journal include: 1. Theoretical articles 2. Empirical studies 3. Practice-oriented papers 4. Case studies 5. Review of papers, books, and resources. As far as the criteria for evaluating and accepting submissions is concerned, a rigorous review process will be used. Submitted papers will, prior to the formal review, be screened so as to ensure their suitability and adequacy to the journal. In addition, an initial quality control will be performed, so as to ensure matters such as language, style of references and others, comply with the journal´s style. The below mentioned areas are just indicative. The editorial board also welcomes innovative articles that redefine any researches regarding Primary and Early Childhood.

Abstract

The latest interesting innovation created by technology creators to be able to compete is Tiktok social media. This study aims to analyze the impact of using the TikTok application on student language politeness, the method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The subject of this research is fifth grade students of SDN Anggadita I. The results of the study state that the unwise use of the TikTok application causes students' language politeness to decline, students often use impolite language when interacting with peers and teachers, and students always follow trends that emerge without giving restrictions. Lack of attention and supervision from parents is one of the factors that make it easy for students to follow the impolite language they hear in the TikTok application. In addition, parents at home also give freedom to children in social media.

Abstract

Lack of literacy and low critical thinking skills are among the obstacles that occur in education in Indonesia. This is based on the facts of some students who still have low reading interest and cannot think critically in obtaining reliable and accountable information. Therefore, it takes several efforts to increase reading interest in children and the ability to think critically for each individual in the hope of creating golden generations that are able to compete globally. So that this paper is motivated by the steps that are being made in educational literacy in Indonesia, the impact of the low literacy culture, the low literacy ranking in Indonesia when compared to other countries, and the low critical thinking skills in education.

Abstract

The efforts of the Regional Drinking Water Company (PERUMDA Tirta Darma Ayu) of Indramayu Regency in improving the quality of human resources, one of which is by holding internship activities. Internship data processing which is currently running is still done using document forms, information related to internships is still difficult to obtain. This allows the risk of data inaccuracy and information uncertainty. The purpose of this research is to provide a responsive web-based internship information system design using the Grid System and CSS Media Query so that it can be accessed by users on various devices such as laptops, smartphones or tablets, the web display automatically changes to accommodate the display according to the resolution, size image, and scripting capabilities. The method used is Research and Development (RD) to produce an appropriate information system. The results of this research are flowcharts, system designs, prototypes and responsive web interfaces using the Grid System and CSS Media Query. The conclusion of this research is that the design made can be used as an illustration to design a responsive web information system that can be accessed by the latest devices and can assist in processing internship data.

Abstract

UPI Campus in Purwakarta has an information system in the form of a website that is useful as a means of information for the public outside and within the university. The UPI Campus website in Purwakarta is a web-based information service that was built and developed by the website developer at UPI Purwakarta. The website portal kd-purwakarta.upi.edu is the official website of the UPI campus in Purwakarta, where all information is available on the website. The existence of information services is not yet known, so the measurement of user satisfaction with the system needs to be measured. This study aims to produce a design assessment of the influence of website quality on user satisfaction. The method used is the Webqual 4.0 method, with as many as 22 question attributes and analyzed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results of the study obtained a design assessment of the influence of website quality based on indicators that are influenced by the quality of use, quality of information, quality of interaction and user satisfaction. The conclusion is that the analysis of the influence of website quality on user satisfaction can be done using the Webqual 4.0 and IPA methods.

Abstract

Sukaharja Tourism Village, located in Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, West Java, is a village with significant potential being developed through a community-based tourism concept to achieve sustainability. This village leverages its natural, cultural, and social assets through an educational tourism model based on local wisdom, including agriculture, animal husbandry, culinary arts, and nature tourism. However, the arts sector, specifically degung music (a traditional Sundanese orchestra), has not been optimally utilized to support the village's promotion and development. Although a full set of degung gamelan instruments is available at the village hall, its use in promotional events remains minimal. Observing this situation, the researcher is motivated to conduct a culture conservation initiative based on local content, focusing on the development of the traditional degung art. The goal is to preserve this Sundanese cultural heritage while simultaneously supporting the tourism village's growth. Through traditional music training, this effort aims to maximize degung art’s potential as a tourist attraction that boosts the local economy, preserving culture while contributing to Sukaharja Village’s welfare through sustainable tourism.

Abstract

In holding this vocational class to gain experience in managing various differences in one class. develop each student to have their own uniqueness, a sense of empathy and sensitivity to student limitations. This research method uses qualitative methods with literature studies which we carry out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. To train fine and gross motoric skills in inclusive students, in order to train students' skills and independence for everyday life and life in the future. Vocational classes in inclusive education are an important component in efforts to create an inclusive educational environment and focus on developing practical skills that are relevant for all students, including students with special needs. Implementing vocational classes in inclusive schools involves a series of designed steps and practices such as curriculum preparation, evaluation/identification of student needs, as well as program and material adjustments. Providing vocational classes in accordance with the stated objectives, namely developing the potential of each student, specifically for students with special needs. The provision of vocational classes also has a number of significant implications, especially for school residents, such as developing daily living skills and increasing practical skills.

Abstract

Plastic waste management in Indonesia is still a problem that cannot be resolved properly. Data from the Olefins, Aromatic and Plastics Industry Association (INAPLAS) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) show that plastic waste in Indonesia has reached 64 million tons per year. And as many as 3.2 million tons of which are plastic waste dumped into the sea, as well as 10 billion plastic bags disposed of into the environment per year or as many as 85,000 tons of plastic bags. The Ministry of Environment and Forestry targets to reduce plastic waste by more than 1.9 million tons by 2019. Handling plastic waste has also been widely implemented with the 3R concept (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle). With this phenomenon, we as Information Systems developers design an application that can be used in good, appropriate and environmentally friendly plastic waste management in the community. The application we offer is "AMARA RECYCLE" in which users can make plastic waste transactions which are directly addressed to the TPA (Final Waste Disposal Site) or the nearest plastic waste bank in their city, so through this application we hope that plastic waste will be more easily resolved.

Abstract

Covid-19 is declared a pandemic that has spread to all parts of the world. The spread is so fast that it takes the best effective way to prevent transmission. One way is to keep a distance in order to break the chain of transmission. The statement explains that not to cluster in one room, as in learning, namely by learning in the classroom. This has led to changes in learning nationally, emerging with the phrase "Learning from home online (online)". During the current pandemic, educators are very worried about the character and personality development of early childhood. This is because students with a very young age vulnerable will have difficulty if they do not receive education directly. Early Childhood Education (PAUD) itself is a level of education taken by children before entering elementary school (SD). Early childhood education is a training intended for children aged 0-6 years, where this age becomes the golden age in shaping children's personality and character. In learning on early childhood education during a pandemic like this, it relies heavily on parents as a facility to direct children in learning that should be carried out like regular educators, the reason is that if parents cannot teach and educate their children it will be difficult for the child to develop a form of thought and the child's personality as a result of learning from home. In this case the writing of the following article aims to provide solutions to the handling of the learning process in early childhood with various methods which are considered to provide broader insights.

Abstract

Revolusi Industri 4.0 beriringan dengan perkembangan teknologi  bagi manajemen industri, salah satunya pada perusahaan industri ZIA MOTOR. Umumnya, suatu perusahaan menginginkan usahanya untuk tetap eksis dan berkembang mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai peningkatan kualitas manajemen, pelayanan dan penerapan teknologi informasi di perusahaan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode RD ( Research and Development). Berdasarkan hasil observasi  dan wawancara pada perusahaan ZIA Motor manajemen penjualan kasir dan stok barang masih dilakukan secara manual seperti halnya hasil observasi menyatakan sisem manual tersebut dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kesalahan baik saat pendataan stok  barang atau barang yang terjual, selain itu dapat pula terjadi hilangnya berkas yang disebabkan oleh alam atau keteledoran manajemen manusia itu sendiri. Untuk itu, Kelompok  Praktik  Industri akan merancang sebuah sistem informasi kasir berbasis web. Model SDLC Waterfall menjadi metode yang digunakan dalam proses pengembangan perangkat lunak. Model waterfall  ini menggunakan alur  secara terurut dimulai dari tahap analisis, desain, pengkodean, pengujian, dan tahap pendukung. Dengan adanya Sistem Informasi kasir berbasis web ini dapat membantu petugas kasir dalam proses pengelolaan data penjualan dan data stok barang yang lebih akurat dan efisien.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in preparing quality human resources. Quality education is education that is able to compete with various challenges that occur now and in the future. Therefore, evaluation needs to be done as a benchmark for achieving a learning goal. However, in practice the evaluation process has not been implemented comprehensively and systematically so that the results have not been able to be viewed objectively. This study aims to determine the process of implementing a holistic assessment. This study uses a systematic literature review (SLR) method. The SLR method is used to identify, review, evaluate, and interpret all available research with topic areas of interest to phenomena, with certain relevant research questions. The results show that the implementation of holistic assessment has been carried out based on the 2013 curriculum, using holistic assessment makes it easier for teachers to assess students' abilities. Holistic assessment is used as the best assessment to use because this assessment assesses students in real terms.
