Abstract

Through Critical Discourse analysis, the research aims to analyze the use of code- mixing in Instagram posts by Indonesian local brands and its impact on brand image. The use of code-mixing in a local brand's Instagram post is the main concern of the researcher. Using Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis theory, which consists of text dimensions, discourse practices, and social practices, data in the form of captions of local brands' Instagram posts from the @erigostore Instagram account were analyzed to identify patterns of code-mix use and evaluate its impact on brand image. The total data analyzed was 10 Instagram posts through Erigo's official account. The results show that code-mixing enhances Erigo's sense of modernity and practicality, proximity to Audience, professionalism, and reflects openness to global influences. This strategy reinforces Erigo's image as a brand that follows trends, is familiar with its bilingual audience, and is competitive in the international market. This research adds to the understanding of the influence of code-mixing in social media on brand image in a multicultural society.

Abstract

This research is quantitative research with an exploratory approach, namely an approach that uses a number of previous studies as a fundamental foundation to strengthen the argumentation construction in this. The data used in this research is primary data obtained from Maspion employees throughout Indonesia. The data in the research were analyzed using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool. The result in this article show that the researcher's assumptions used as hypotheses are acceptable because the P-Values are below 0.05, namely 0.005 and lead to positive. This is due to the simplicity of the system, ease of completing work, and other things that employees feel as a result of the digitalization of the company's system. This is in line with previous research. Apart from that, the second hypothesis in this research can also be proven because the P-Vlaues value is positive and is below the 0.05 significance level, namely 0.000. This means that good talent management can produce and maintain good quality human resources, can use technology well, can take advantage of good digitalization of the Company's systems, and will have a good impact on employee performance. Thus the first and second hypotheses in this article can be proven.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the factors that impact customer satisfaction and purchasing decisions among PT PLN (Persero) electricity consumers across Indonesia. A sample of 70 consumers was surveyed using a questionnaire to collect data. The analysis utilized linear regression through SPSS Statistics, considering variables such as product, price, distribution channel, promotion, and service quality as independent, intervening, and dependent factors. The study uncovered several significant findings: firstly, both price and service quality play crucial roles in influencing customer satisfaction. Secondly, distribution channels and customer satisfaction notably affect PT PLN (Persero)'s electricity purchasing decisions in Indonesia. Thirdly, collectively, products, prices, distribution channels, promotions, and service quality contribute to customer satisfaction, consequently impacting PT PLN (Persero)'s electricity purchasing decisions across these regions. Particularly noteworthy is the introduction of a novel model depicting the relationship between promotional activities promoting electricity conservation, customer satisfaction, and purchasing decisions. The implications of this research are expected to aid electricity management and industry professionals in enhancing customer satisfaction and guiding PT PLN (Persero)'s electricity purchasing decisions in Indonesia. Furthermore, it could serve as a valuable resource for future research endeavors and corporate decision-making processes.

Abstract

Sustainability report disclosure has become a crucial aspect of corporate reporting practices as a form of accountability to stakeholders. Sustainability report disclosure, as an indicator of corporate social responsibility, is increasingly gaining attention from stakeholders. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of profitability, institutional ownership, and environmental performance on sustainability report disclosure. The population of this study consisted of 359 energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023, with 23 companies selected as samples, resulting in 57 observations. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling method and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The results show that profitability and institutional ownership have no effect on sustainability report disclosure, while environmental performance has a positive effect on sustainability report disclosure. The theoretical implications of this study demonstrate the implementation of stakeholder theory in explaining the effect of environmental performance on sustainability report disclosure. This study also provides practical implications regarding the importance of sustainability report disclosure for companies as a form of corporate responsibility and commitment to sustainability, as well as providing information for investors in considering investment decisions.
