Abstract

Policy advocacy in Tamansari, Bandung City, reflects the struggle of local communities in maintaining their rights to living space amidst the pressures of modernization and urban development. The area faces challenges such as land tenure conflicts, gentrification, and evictions, which raises the need for an inclusive and equitable policy approach. Advocacy is carried out through community empowerment, collaboration with civil society organizations, and support from various parties, including academics and NGOs. The research method used in this study is qualitative with data collection techniques from interviews and documentation studies. The results of this policy advocacy show that the advocacy process emphasizes the importance of community participation in decision-making, policy transparency, and a balance between development needs and the protection of local residents' rights. The Tamansari case study provides important lessons on effective advocacy strategies in the context of urbanization and land conflicts, while also offering a model for a collaboration-based approach to creating sustainable and inclusive policies.

Abstract

Bullying is a deviant behavior that can occur among students in the school environment. Bullying behavior will have a negative impact on its victims, both physically and psychologically. The impact on victims can be in the form of psychological disorders, loss of self-confidence, the tendency for students to be difficult to trust others (trust issues), and tend to be alone. Civic Education is present to create (civic disposition/responsibility) the character or attitude of the student's personality and be able to take responsibility. The role of Civics teachers in providing subject matter is very much needed so that students can form character values in behavior, both in the school environment so as to prevent deviations among students such as bullying. Pancasila and Citizenship Education teachers need to educate as well as teach, duly trying to prevent issues of bullying behavior. The objectives of this study are 1) to know the role of Civics Teachers in strengthening character to prevent bullying behavior at SMP Negeri 17 Medan 2) to know the negative impact of bullying behavior among students at SMP Negeri 17 Medan. This type of research is a type of narrative qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. The sample in this study were all Civics Teachers at SMP Negeri 17 Medan, which were 2 Civics teachers. The results showed that Civics teachers at SMP Negeri 17 Medan have carried out the role of teachers as role models, inspirers, motivators, dynamizers and evaluators. It can be seen that the negative impact of bullying for victims can be in the form of physical and psychological injuries, not wanting to come to school, feeling inferior, losing a sense of security and comfort. Meanwhile, the perpetrators, if not caught or caught bullying, will repeat their actions continuously

Abstract

This study explores the role of the Sufi teachings of Sheikh Abdullah Mubarok bin Nur Muhammad (Abah Sepuh) through the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah (TQN) Order of Suryalaya as a form of transformational spirituality in facing colonialism and building national awareness. With a historical-hermeneutic qualitative approach, this study examines the Tanbih text, the practice of tazkiyatun nafs, and the social structure of the pesantren community as an arena for peaceful yet strategic cultural resistance. The results of the study show that Sufi values ​​such as ikhlas, khidmah, sabar, and amanah not only shape pious individuals, but also communities that are empowered, independent, and have a national consciousness rooted in monotheism. The nationalism offered by Abah Sepuh rejects secularism and extremism, and instead unites love of the homeland with devotion to God. His teachings live as living texts in social practices, spiritual economy, and collective memory, making Sufism an ethical and social force that is relevant across time. This study is a development of the author's dissertation and academic book manuscript that is being prepared for publication, thus presenting theoretical and practical contributions to the study of Sufism and social development.

Abstract

Implementasi teknologi pendidikan sangat membantu seorang pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran hal ini juga biasa ditemukan dalam mata pelajaran pendidikan agama katolik untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar peserta didik. Kurangnya motivasi dan prestasi belajar peserta didik ini dialami oleh peserta didik di SDK Lebao Tengah II, kurangnya motivasi dan prestasi belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama katolik diakibatkan dari guru yang belum secara optimal dalam menggunakan teknologi pada pembelajaran yang mengakibatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar peserta didik menjadi menurun, maka dari itu guru perlu menggunakan teknologi pendidikan dalam proses pembelajaran secara optimal agar motivasi dan prestasi belajar peserta didik dapat meningkat. Metode kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dan subjek penelitian yaitu guru pendidikan agama katolik, 6 orang peserta didik kelas VI dan kepala sekolah SDK Lebao Tengah II Kabupaten Flores Timur,-NTT. Sumber data penelitian adalah wawancara kepada informan, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan teknologi pendidikan dalam proses pembelajaran dapat menigkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar peserta didik. Guru di SDK Lebao Tengah II sudah optimal dalam menciptakan susana belajar yang baik dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga peserta didik menjadi termotivasi dan prestasinya menjadi meningkat.

Abstract

Fraud within the Social Insurance Administration Organization (BPJS) Kesehatan has emerged as a significant challenge, threatening the sustainability and integrity of Indonesia's National Health Insurance (JKN) program. Fraud can manifest in various forms, including false claims, misuse of participant data, and unauthorized utilization of healthcare facilities, involving participants, medical personnel, and healthcare providers alike. This phenomenon not only results in financial losses for the state but also diminishes the quality of healthcare services and public trust. This article analyzes BPJS fraud from the perspective of ethics and compliance with Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health. This law emphasizes the crucial principles of justice, transparency, and accountability in the provision of healthcare services. The prevention and handling of fraud are regulated by Minister of Health Regulation Number 16 of 2019, which mandates strict oversight, administrative sanctions, and the use of information technology for early detection. Furthermore, education and community involvement are key to strengthening reporting and oversight systems. Collaboration across sectors and the implementation of comprehensive policies are expected to maintain the sustainability and integrity of JKN, ultimately aiming to achieve fair and equitable healthcare services for all Indonesian citizens. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Intermediate Volunteer Class (IVC) terhadap pengembangan karakter kepemimpinan relawan sosial kemanusiaan di lembaga Satu Amal Indonesia kota Palembang. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pelatihan kepemimpinan dalam membentuk generasi muda yang siap menjadi pemimpin masa depan, khususnya melalui kegiatan kerelawanan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kausalkomparatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh relawan yang mengikuti IVC tahun 2023 dan 2024 dengan jumlah 133 orang, dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin sehingga diperoleh 100 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan (sangat berpengaruh) antara pelatihan IVC terhadap pengembangan karakter kepemimpinan relawan. Pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan karakter keberanian, integritas, dan sifat visioner pada diri relawan dengan klasifikasi karakter integritas berkategori sangat tinggi sebesar 61,8 %. Dengan demikian, program Intermediate Volunteer Class berperan penting dalam mencetak relawan yang tidak hanya aktif secara sosial, tetapi juga memiliki karakter kepemimpinan sebagai inisiator dan penggerak kebaikan secara sukarela tanpa imbalan apapun.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the suitability of the debate theme and the personal qualities of the candidates in the 2025 West Kalimantan gubernatorial and deputy governor debates. Using a quantitative approach and content analysis method, data was obtained from the debate transcript which was then encoded based on the level of relevance of the theme and indicators of personal qualities. The chi-square test is used to measure the relationships between variables. The results of the study show that there is a significant relationship between the suitability of the theme and the public perception of the candidate's personal qualities. Debate themes that are relevant to the candidate's background or experience tend to reinforce judgments of qualities such as empathy, integrity, and communication skills. These findings emphasize the importance of planning appropriate debate themes to showcase the candidate's leadership qualities more authentically and credibly in front of the public.

Abstract

The use of information technology in basic education management is a strategic key in the analysis and follow-up of ANBK results. This study aims to explore the application of information technology in the context of managing ANBK results at SDN Ciawi, Tasikmalaya Regency. This research uses a qualitative research approach, data obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation of school principals, teachers, and school operators. The results of the study show that the use of digital platforms such as education report cards has been used to analyze the results of ANBK and design data-based follow-up programs. This helps obstacles such as low teacher literacy, limited infrastructure, and high dependence on the role of operators are still challenges. The results of this study provide an important overview of the need to strengthen human resource capacity, technology integration, and school work culture, as well as sustainable system support to improve the quality of data-based education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The readiness of students in facing the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT) is an important factor in determining success in entering higher education, especially in the area of English literacy, which is part of the exam. This study aims to analyze the readiness of 12th-grade students in senior high schools across Bekasi City in facing the SNBT, with a focus on English literacy. The research method used is descriptive survey, in which data were collected through a Google Form-based questionnaire filled out by 25 students of class 12. The results show that the majority of respondents have a good basic understanding of English literacy, but there are still shortcomings in aspects of understanding complex texts and using effective reading strategies. In addition, 60% of students feel confident in their abilities, while 40% indicate the need for additional training to improve readiness. Factors such as the frequency of practice questions and access to English-language learning materials have a significant impact on the students' level of readiness. This study recommends the implementation of an intensive learning program and practice questions based on English literacy to improve students' abilities in facing the SNBT. By understanding students' readiness comprehensively, educational institutions can design more effective learning strategies.

Abstract

Support is the responsibility of a father (husband) toward his children until they become adults and are capable of supporting themselves. However, if the child has reached legal age but is unable to work due to illness or other limitations, the father remains obligated to provide support. In the Malang Regency Religious Court, there have been several cases where Civil Servants failed to comply with court decisions regarding child support after divorce. This issue typically arises when the ex-wife files a lawsuit because the ex-husband refuses to implement the court’s decision. Some cases also involve appeals filed by the ex-husband who disagrees with the judge’s considerations in determining the amount of support. Such situations significantly affect the child’s well-being and development.This study aims to examine the legal basis and judicial considerations used by the Malang Regency Religious Court in determining child support obligations for Civil Servants, the legal remedies available when the decision is not enforced, and an analysis from the perspective of Islamic law. The research employs a qualitative method using an empirical juridical approach. Data were collected through field research, including primary data (interviews and observations) and secondary data (documents and literature).The study concludes that the father, even after divorce, is still legally and morally responsible for the child's welfare. Obstacles to fulfilling this obligation often stem from the father's new relationships or ongoing conflicts between former spouses, which negatively impact the child's right to financial support.
