Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of responsive service on the level of public satisfaction at the Bulo Village Office, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. The population in this study was the entire community of Bulo Village, totaling 2,754 people. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula so that 97 respondents were obtained. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS application. The results showed that the responsiveness of service at the Bulo Village Office was classified as good with an average percentage of 65.5%. Meanwhile, the level of public satisfaction was also in the good category with an average percentage of 62.3%. The results of the regression test show that the t-count value > t-table (10.370 > 1.984) means that there is a significant influence between responsive service and the level of public satisfaction. The R square value of 0.525 indicates that the contribution of the influence of responsive service to public satisfaction is 52.6%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the factors influencing the community’s behavior in littering in Rappang Village, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The population in this study consists of all Heads of Families in Rappang Village, totaling 585 families. The sample in this study consisted of 86 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and random sampling technique. The type of research used is quantitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, questionnaires, and literature study. The data analysis technique was carried out with the help of the SPSS application. The research results show that the predisposing factors (knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs) have an average percentage of 83.8% and fall into the “very good” category. The enabling factors (facilities, infrastructure, and distance to polling stations) have a percentage of 59.3%, while the reinforcing factors (social support, environmental pressure, and policies) have a percentage of 60.8%, both of which fall into the “fairly good” category. Based on the results of the multiple linear regression analysis through the ANOVA test, an F value of 3.656 was obtained with a significance level of 0.016.Because this significance value is smaller than the 10% significance level (0.10), it can be concluded that this multiple linear regression model is significant simultaneously. The regression results show that the R square is 0.118, which means that approximately 11.8% of the variation in community behavior can be explained by predisposing factors, enabling factors, and reinforcing factors.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic growth disorder in children that impacts health, economic productivity, and quality of life. Ende Regency, located in East Nusa Tenggara Province, has recorded a high prevalence of stunting, with cases increasing by 8.2% in 2024. This research involves collecting secondary data and applying the Fuzzy Mamdani method through the stages of fuzzification, fuzzy rule formation, fuzzy inference, and defuzzification. The mapping results are expected to provide a comprehensive overview of stunting distribution and its determinants, serving as a basis for policymakers to design targeted interventions.This study also contributes to the advancement of science and technology (IPTEKS) through the application of the Fuzzy Mamdani method in health mapping and aims to raise public awareness to support stunting prevention efforts. The research aims to apply the Fuzzy Mamdani method in mapping stunting in Ende Regency, identify areas with the highest stunting prevalence, and determine the main factors influencing its distribution, enabling communities to increase awareness and participation in stunting prevention efforts based on accurate information.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the way consumers interact with brands, with social media now becoming the main platform for digital marketing. Strategies such as endorsements by social media influencers and electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) have become increasingly popular approaches to building brand awareness and influencing consumer purchasing decisions. Yuikaa Fashion Store, as an online fashion industry player, has also utilized these two strategies in an effort to increase consumer interest in purchasing. However, the effectiveness of implementing these strategies still faces various challenges, such as the selection of unappealing influencers, a lack of content updates that follow trends, and negative reviews from consumers. Based on these phenomena, this study aims to analyze the influence of influencer endorsements and E-WOM on consumer purchasing interest at Yuikaa Fashion Store. The results of this study are expected to provide practical contributions to the development of digital marketing strategies and enrich academic literature on consumer behavior within the context of the online fashion industry.

Abstract

Sekolah merupakan sarana utama dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku individu melalui pendidikan yang terencana. Pendidikan yang berkualitas tidak hanya menghasilkan lulusan yang kompetitif, tetapi juga bermoral, berakar budaya, dan mampu mengelola sumber daya secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji manajemen kelas dan efektivitas pembelajaran di MAN 4 Jombang serta hubungan keduanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kelas di MAN 4 Jombang mencakup perencanaan pembelajaran, pengaturan ruang, penegakan disiplin, dan penciptaan suasana belajar yang kondusif, dengan guru berperan sebagai fasilitator dan motivator. Efektivitas pembelajaran ditandai dengan partisipasi aktif siswa, peningkatan hasil belajar, dan penggunaan metode yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik. Manajemen kelas yang efektif terbukti memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap keberhasilan pembelajaran, melalui terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang tertib, menyenangkan, dan mendukung tanggung jawab serta prestasi siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya profesionalisme guru dalam menerapkan manajemen kelas sebagai strategi peningkatan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Administrative management strategies play a crucial role in improving the quality of educational institutions. Educational institutions are required to build optimal performance through professional and structured quality management. This study aims to describe the administrative management strategies, institutional quality, and the relationship between both in improving the quality of MTs. Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Tebuireng Jombang. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involves data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through source, time, and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that administrative management strategies are implemented through careful planning, clear organization, implementation that enhances human resource competencies, and continuous supervision. Institutional quality is achieved by aligning educational services with the needs and expectations of the community. Administrative management strategies contribute to institutional quality improvement through structured administrative practices and a continuous quality improvement cycle, aimed at delivering high-quality education services and producing competitive graduates.

Abstract

The library plays a crucial role in supporting the educational process in schools, particularly as a source of information and knowledge for students. However, in the era of globalization, students' interest in visiting the library is facing challenges, necessitating appropriate managerial strategies to keep the library relevant and appealing. This study aims to analyze library management in increasing students' interest in visiting the library at SMA A Wahid Hasyim Tebuireng Jombang. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involves data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data is ensured through source triangulation, time triangulation, and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that library management, which includes planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision, significantly contributes to increasing students' interest in visiting the library. Strategies such as updating book collections, creating a comfortable space, implementing literacy programs, and Adequate facilities are highly effective in attracting students' interest. The implications of these findings indicate that effective library management can create an enjoyable learning environment and enhance the literacy culture among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji masalah utama dalam ketidakstabilan dan variasi kecepatan pengiriman data pada aplikasi multimedia streaming ketika menggunakan protokol Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) dan User Datagram Prtotocol (UDP). Meskipun TCP dikenal andal dalam pengiriman data berkat mekanisme kontrolnya yang ketat, protkol ini sering dianggap kurang optimal untuk aplikasi real-time seperti streaming. Sedangkan UDP yang lebih ringan dan cepat, lebih cocok untuk aplikasi real-time tetapi rentan terhadap kehilangan data. Hal ini menimbulkan tantangan dalam menentukan protokol yang optimal untuk mendukung kebutuhan aplikasi multimedia streaming yang memerlukan throughput tinggi, latensi rendah dan jitter yang minimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis performa pengiriman data multimedia streaming menggunakan protokol TCP dan UDP dalam hal throughput, latensi dan jitter, serta mengidentifikasi protokol yang lebih efektif untuk aplikasi tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, observasi langsung terhadap operasi aplikasi multimedia streaming, wawancara dengan ahli jaringan, serta simulasi dan pengujian langsung menggunakan aplikasi multimedia streaming data yang diperoleh dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi masalah performa jaringan dan mengevalusi kinerja kedua protokol. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi mengenai protokol yang lebih sesuai untuk aplikasi multimedia streaming serta menjadi dasar pengembangan solusi jaringan yang lebih optimal di masa depan.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an application based on Augmented Reality technology to facilitate the virtual selection of traditional clothing from East Nusa Tenggara . AR technology allows users to view and try on traditional clothing through real-time 2D models. The research focuses on designing and implementing an Androidbased system that integrates modern technology with the preservation of traditional culture. The methodology involves Visual studio code-based development and data collection from academic literature and interviews with cultural experts. This application is expected to enhance public awareness and appreciation of East Nusa Tenggara cultural heritage. The research contributes to the utilization of technology for cultural preservation through an innovative approach.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a gender classification model based on eye images using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. The dataset consists of 13,499 eye images divided into two classes: male and female. The methodology includes preprocessing by converting images to grayscale and resizing them to 64×64 pixels, followed by feature extraction using raw pixel representation resulting in a 4,096-dimensional vector. The data is split into 80% for training and 20% for testing, and SVM parameters are optimized using grid search with 5-fold cross-validation. The SVM model employs an RBF kernel with parameters C=10 and gamma='scale'.Evaluation is carried out using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score metrics, and a confusion matrix. A decision boundary is visualized using PCA to analyze data separability. The results show excellent performance with 99.96% accuracy, 100.00% precision, 99.95% recall, and 99.98% F1-score. The confusion matrix indicates near-perfect classification, with 648 male samples and 2,051 female samples correctly classified without misprediction. This study demonstrates that the SVM algorithm, even with simple preprocessing, can achieve high accuracy in gender classification based on eye images, showing strong potential for practical implementation in biometric systems
