Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of information technology risk management implementation at STIKOM Uyelindo Kupang based on the ISO 31000:2018 framework. The research focuses on four main variables: Risk Identification (X1), Risk Evaluation (X2), Risk Management (X3), and Information Technology Risk Governance (Y). A quantitative approach was applied, using a questionnaire distributed to 50 respondents. Descriptive analysis showed that Risk Identification and Risk Evaluation fall into the good category, while Risk Management was rated as Fair, and IT Risk Governance was categorized as Poor. Pearson correlation analysis revealed very weak and insignificant relationships between variables, indicating the lack of structural integration in the risk management process. These findings suggest that the application of ISO 31000 principles is still suboptimal and requires improvement across six core elements: Leadership and Commitment, Integration, Design, Implementation, Evaluation, and Improvement. A more comprehensive implementation of ISO 31000 is expected to enhance risk management capabilities that are measurable, structured, and sustainable within the institution.

Abstract

The recommendation system for natural tourism destinations in South Central Timor Regency uses the Self-Organizing Map method. As an area with diverse natural tourism potential but has not been optimally explored, South Central Timor requires an innovative approach to increase the visibility of its tourist destinations. This website-based system integrates various important parameters such as natural characteristics, accessibility, facilities, tourist experience, temporal factors, costs, and sustainability aspects to produce personalized recommendations for tourists. The Self-Organizing Map method was chosen because of its ability to group tourist destinations based on similar characteristics without requiring previous data labels, and can identify hidden patterns that may not be visible in conventional analysis. The Final Project shows that the implementation of this recommendation system not only improves the tourist experience through personalization, but also encourages a more even distribution of visits to various tourist destinations in South Central Timor, supports the local economy, and promotes sustainable tourism practices. The development of the system in website format provides advantages in terms of accessibility, ease of content updates, rich multimedia integration, and optimization for search engines. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of technology-based tourism in areas with tourism potential that has not been maximally exposed.

Abstract

The provision of social assistance in Wonga Wea Village still experiences several problems, including the provision of assistance often experiencing inaccuracy in selecting residents who receive social assistance, because currently many wealthy residents receive social assistance which assistance should be given to the less fortunate. To overcome this problem, a decision support system for receiving social assistance was created using the application of the UTA (Utility Theory Additive) and MAUT (Multi Attribute Utility Theory) methods. UTA is used to assess the utility of each prospective recipient based on predetermined criteria while MAUT helps in integrating various criteria with appropriate weights so that the decision-making process becomes more systematic and structured. Therefore, the process of receiving social assistance using the application of the UTA (Utility Theory Additive) and MAUT (Multi Attribute Utility Theory) methods can help village officials in Wonga Wea Village in the process of data collection and decision-making to determine eligible recipients of social assistance so that there are no errors in the process of receiving social assistance. This study tests the hypothesis that the application of the UTA (Utility Theory Additive) and MAUT (Multi Attribute Utility Theory) methods can improve the accuracy of the selection of social assistance recipients, so that assistance is more targeted to people who really need it. The results of the study indicate that the system created is able to improve the accuracy of the selection of assistance recipients compared to conventional methods.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat telah meningkatkan kebutuhan akan platform e-commerce, terutama dalam membantu pelaku usaha mengelola bisnis secara lebih efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan merancang aplikasi mobile commerce dengan integrasi chatbot guna mengoptimalkan proses penjualan di Jay Kupang, sebuah usaha yang bergerak di bidang penjualan buah-buahan, sayuran, dan daging di Nusa Tenggara Timur. Saat ini, Jay Kupang masih mengandalkan media sosial dalam operasionalnya, sehingga mengalami kendala dalam pengelolaan produk, pembaruan harga, serta pelayanan pelanggan yang kurang responsif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak Waterfall, yang mencakup tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, verifikasi, dan pemeliharaan. Aplikasi yang dirancang akan dilengkapi dengan fitur utama seperti manajemen produk, serta chatbot yang berfungsi untuk meningkatkan interaksi dengan pelanggan dan memberikan layanan otomatis. Hasil dari penelitian ini diwujudkan dalam bentuk mobile web commerce dengan integrasi chatbot dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mengoptimalkan pelayanan pelanggan, serta membantu Jay Kupang dalam menghadapi tantangan bisnis digital. Penelitian ini akan menjadi dasar dalam pengembangan aplikasi yang lebih lanjut untuk diterapkan dalam lingkungan bisnis yang sesungguhnya.

Abstract

Pengelolaan stok makanan dalam kulkas rumah tangga sering kali menjadi tantangan, terutama dalam memantau persediaan dan tanggal kedaluwarsa makanan. Kurangnya sistem otomatisasi dapat menyebabkan pemborosan akibat makanan yang rusak atau kedaluwarsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem monitoring stok dan tanggal kedaluwarsa berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang dapat membantu pengguna dalam mengelola persediaan makanan secara efisien. Sistem ini menggunakan teknologi RFID untuk mendeteksi setiap produk makanan yang disimpan di dalam kulkas. Data yang diperoleh dari RFID Reader RC522 dikirim ke mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP32 untuk diolah dan diteruskan ke aplikasi Telegram melalui koneksi Wi-Fi. Aplikasi ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk memantau stok makanan secara real-time serta menerima notifikasi ketika suatu produk mencapai tanggal kedaluwarsa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D), yang meliputi perancangan sistem, implementasi perangkat keras dan lunak, serta pengujian kinerja sistem. Dengan penerapan sistem ini, pengguna dapat mengurangi pemborosan makanan dan meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan persediaan rumah tangga.

Abstract

The use of information technology in public services is increasingly becoming a primary need to support transparency and efficiency in government agencies. One implementation is the SI ELANG application developed by the Regional Revenue and Asset Agency (BPAD) of East Nusa Tenggara Province. Data was obtained through questionnaires distributed to active users of the application, namely BPAD civil servants within the NTT Provincial Government. With the increasing number of vehicles and the complexity of traffic, the public often faces difficulties in accessing information related to tax obligations and ticketing processes. As a solution, this study utilized the SUMI (Software Usability Measurement Inventory) method to measure the usability of the SI ELANG application. This method measures five main aspects of usability: Efficiency, Affect (emotional satisfaction), Helpfulness, Control, and Learnability. This study aims to evaluate the usability of the SI ELANG application using the SUMI (Software Usability Measurement Inventory) method, which covers five aspects: Efficiency, Affect, Helpfulness, Control, and Learnability. The results indicate that, in general, the SI ELANG application has a good level of usability, with an average usability score of 3.69 out of a maximum scale of 4.00. All usability aspects were rated positively by users, although there was still a slight gap from ideal expectations, particularly in the efficiency aspect. The SUMI method proved effective in providing a comprehensive overview of user perceptions of the application's ease and convenience.

Abstract

The radio frequency spectrum is a finite resource that plays a crucial role in supporting communication systems, particularly in the aviation sector. Unauthorized use and signal interference within this spectrum can pose serious threats to flight safety. This study aims to develop a classification system for aviation radio signals using machine learning algorithms, namely Random Forest and Support Vector Machine. The dataset consists of tabular monitoring data with two main features: frequency and signal power level. The research process includes data preprocessing, model training, validation through K-Fold Cross Validation, and performance evaluation based on accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. Testing was carried out under both simulated and real-world conditions using Software Defined Radio (SDR) equipment. Results indicate that the Random Forest model achieved more consistent performance, with an accuracy of 79.77% and balanced F1-scores across both classes. Additionally, the system was found to be user-friendly and responsive, especially for non-technical operators, thanks to its intuitive visual interface. This research contributes to enhancing the effectiveness of aviation spectrum monitoring and offers potential for future integration with real-time detection systems

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) adalah teknologi yang memungkinkan perangkat elektronik terhubung dan berkomunikasi secara otomatis melalui jaringan internet. Perkembangan IoT telah menghadirkan berbagai kemudahan dalam otomatisasi dan efisiensi di berbagai sektor, termasuk dalam sistem smart home. Salah satu implementasinya adalah stop kontak pintar berbasis IoT, yang memungkinkan pengguna mengontrol perangkat listrik dari jarak jauh melalui aplikasi atau perintah suara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang stop kontak pintar berbasis IoT yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan energi serta memberikan kemudahan dalam pengoperasian perangkat elektronik. Stop kontak ini dilengkapi dengan fitur pemantauan konsumsi daya secara real time, pengaturan jadwal operasional, serta sistem keamanan yang melindungi perangkat dari risiko korsleting atau penggunaan berlebih. Namun, tantangan utama dalam penerapan IoT adalah risiko keamanan, seperti serangan siber dan kebocoran data. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini juga membahas penerapan enkripsi data, autentikasi pengguna, serta mekanisme perlindungan jaringan untuk meningkatkan keamanan sistem. Dengan penerapan teknologi ini, diharapkan stop kontak cerdas berbasis IoT dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam mendukung efisiensi energi serta meningkatkan kenyamanan dan keamanan pengguna di lingkungan smart home.

Abstract

This research is titled “Application of Sales Data Mining at Osher Store Using FP-Growth Algorithm”. Osher Store, which provides photocopying services and sells stationery, faces challenges in identifying customer purchasing patterns due to transaction data management that is still done manually. This research aims to apply the FP-Growth algorithm in analyzing sales transaction patterns over the past three months. The FP-Growth algorithm was chosen because of its efficiency in finding frequent itemset patterns without explicitly building candidates. The research process includes transaction data collection, data preprocessing, FP-Growth application, and result analysis. The results show certain purchasing patterns that can be used to strategize marketing, stock management, and increase customer satisfaction. The implementation of this algorithm is expected to help Osher Store improve operational efficiency and competitiveness through data-driven decision-making.
