Abstract

Domain Generation Algorithm (DGA) is a mechanism used by malware to algorithmically generate domain names as candidate destinations for communication with command and control servers. Domain string characteristics can be used to distinguish algorithmically generated domains from legitimate domains. This study aims to identify DGA domains based on string characteristics using Random Forest and evaluate its performance against DGA families not observed during training. The dataset consists of 20,000 balanced domains, comprising 10,000 DGA domains from 52 families and 10,000 legitimate domains. A total of 21 features were extracted, including domain length, name length, character counts and ratios, unique character counts, domain structure, and Shannon entropy. Evaluation was conducted using Random Stratified Split and Unseen Family Split. Random Stratified Split achieved 91.83% accuracy, 92.14% precision, 91.45% recall, and 91.79% F1-score. Unseen Family Split achieved 85.55% accuracy, 91.47% precision, 78.41% recall, and 84.44% F1-score. The results indicate a change in classification performance when the model encounters unseen DGA families. Feature importance identified name length and the ratio of name length to domain length as the two most important features. The findings provide an evaluation basis for DGA classification under unseen-family conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the online patient registration information system through Mobile JKN in first-level health facilities in Bulukumba Regency. The study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The research sample was selected using the purposive sampling technique, while data collection was carried out through a Likert scale questionnaire to 39 respondents who were students from the Bina Adinata Institute of Technology and Business. The data was analyzed using descriptive analysis by calculating the average value of each indicator. The results of the study showed that the effectiveness of the online registration information system through Mobile JKN obtained an overall average score of 4.07 with the category of agree. The indicator of saving time for the registration process obtained the highest score (4.26), followed by increased user productivity (4.12), process automation level (4.00), ease of use of the system (3.99), and optimal use of network and server resources (3.95). These findings show that Mobile JKN has made a positive contribution to improving the efficiency of the registration process, ease of access to services, and user productivity, although improving the quality of network infrastructure and optimizing the system is still needed to support more effective services.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology requires higher education institutions to manage data more quickly, accurately, and in an integrated manner. However, many institutions still develop their information systems separately, resulting in negative impacts such as data redundancy and operational silos. This study aims to synthesize recent literature to propose an integrated conceptual model of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tailored to the higher education ecosystem. The study employs a systematic literature review method, focusing on various research articles addressing ERP implementation and the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) framework. The results of the analysis indicate that ERP significantly improves institutional productivity, accountability, and real-time financial and academic services. However, its success depends heavily on careful planning, staff readiness, and a supportive organizational culture to mitigate the risks associated with high investment costs. This study contributes a robust theoretical synthesis and a practical framework for university management to develop an operational digital transformation blueprint, thereby ensuring effective and transparent campus governance.

Abstract

The high complexity of asset management in the inflight catering industry, with diverse physical assets spread across various work areas, makes manual recording methods prone to data errors, inaccuracies, and an inability to track asset conditions and locations in real-time. This study aims to design and implement a QR Code-based Asset Management Information System at PT. Aerofood ACS Bali. The development used an integrated approach combining Business Process Improvement (BPI) for process analysis, Agile Scrum as an iterative development framework, and User-Centered Design (UCD) to ensure usability. The system was built using a full-stack JavaScript architecture: React.js on the front-end, Node.js/Express.js on the back-end, and MySQL as the database. Evaluation was conducted through a Before-After Analysis to measure inventory time, asset data accuracy, and user acceptance using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results show that the system successfully reduced inventory time by 72.5%, increased data accuracy from 72.4% to 98.6%, and achieved a SUS score of 78.5, which is categorized as 'Good'. The study concludes that the integrated BPI-Agile-UCD approach is effective in developing a QR Code-based asset management system that is functional, efficient, and acceptable to users in a medium-sized enterprise context.

Abstract

Advancements in information technology have facilitated data processing and administrative tasks, including the payment process for school tuition fees (SPP). At MA Plus Taruna Teknik Al Jabbar, the tuition payment process is currently handled manually using record books, leading to issues such as recording errors, difficulties in retrieving student data, potential damage to or loss of records, and time-consuming payment reconciliation. This research aims to design and implement a web-based tuition payment system to assist administrative staff in managing, searching for, verifying, and presenting payment data more effectively and systematically. The system development follows the prototyping method, while data collection involved observation, interviews, documentation review, and a literature study. The developed system utilizes the Sequential Search algorithm to locate student and payment records based on names or Student ID Numbers (NIS). The results demonstrate that the web-based system successfully integrates student data processing, payment input, proof-of-payment uploads, transaction verification, data retrieval, and payment report generation. Implementing this system simplifies data management and payment searches for administrative staff while enabling the school principal to monitor payment reports in a more organized manner. Consequently, the developed system offers a solution to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and orderliness of tuition payment administration at MA Plus Taruna Teknik Al Jabbar.

Abstract

Media monitoring is an important public relations activity because institutional news needs to be recorded, stored, retrieved, recapitulated, and reported periodically. At the Public Relations Section of Polrestabes Palembang, monitoring and recapitulation were still conducted manually using Microsoft Word, which made searching, grouping, and preparing reports less efficient. This study aims to design and develop an information system for structured and computerized media coverage monitoring and recapitulation. The study used a descriptive approach with a case study at the Public Relations Section of Polrestabes Palembang. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. Software development used the Waterfall model, covering requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was modeled using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). Implementation used PHP, the Laravel framework, and MySQL in a localhost environment. The resulting system provides Admin and Humas staff access, authentication, news management, search and sorting, daily, monthly, and yearly recapitulation, report generation, and employee account management. The system centralizes news data and provides period-based summaries and printable reports, reducing dependence on manually prepared documents. However, the system has not yet been deployed for operational use or evaluated quantitatively. Further development should include user testing, server deployment, detailed access control, activity logging, database backup, and integration with online media sources.
