Abstract

The capital market, particularly stocks in Indonesia, has experienced significant growth post-COVID-19 pandemic, with the number of investors currently reaching 18 million people, dominated by Generation Z and Millennials. However, this rapid growth presents a new practical challenge: the hesitation among beginner investors in selecting the right brokerage firm due to the multitude of available alternatives, a phenomenon known as choice paralysis. An incorrect broker selection can lead to financial losses caused by unfriendly interfaces, high transaction fees, and slow service response. This research aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) to produce an objective, data-driven ranking of stock brokers, thereby minimizing operational loss risks and improving investment decision-making efficiency for beginner investors. The methodology employed combines Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) for ranking and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) for criteria weighting, applied to seven evaluation criteria: transaction fees, virtual trading simulation, e-IPO features, educational features, popularity, minimum deposit, and community features. The AHP consistency test produced a Consistency Ratio of 0.004, confirming data validity. Results show that the minimum deposit criterion received the highest weight (33.61%), followed by virtual trading simulation (32.20%). The system ranked Stockbit first (V=0.9948), followed by IPOT (0.9533) and Ajaib (0.6265). Confusion Matrix validation yielded 60% accuracy, precision, and recall, while User Acceptance Testing produced an average acceptance score of 88.46%, categorized as highly acceptable.

Abstract

The utilization of information technology to support business processes has become essential for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational data management. At PT XYZ, the rental process for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) storage tanks is still managed using a general-purpose application that does not support integrated rental management. This condition results in limitations in data control, system security, and the preparation of operational reports, making administrative processes less effective. This study aims to design and develop a Storage Tank Rental Information System for CPO and PKO that supports integrated rental data management based on user requirements. The system was developed using the Waterfall methodology, which consists of the requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing phases. System modeling was carried out using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), including Use Case Diagrams and Class Diagrams. The developed information system includes features for user authentication, management of users, storage tanks, vehicles, customers, palm oil mills (PKS), and recipients, as well as CPO and PKO receipt and dispatch transactions and integrated operational reports. The developed system improves the effectiveness of rental data management, accelerates report generation, enhances data security through user authentication mechanisms, and supports more effective, efficient, and well-structured company operations.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has driven digital transformation in learning and academic assessment processes. However, at SMAN 7 Kabupaten Tangerang, the management of learning materials, assignments, attendance, grades, and examinations is still carried out using several separate platforms that are not yet integrated, resulting in inefficient academic management. In addition, the implementation of online examinations remains vulnerable to academic dishonesty. This study aims to develop a web-based Learning Management System (LMS) integrated with a Computer Based Test (CBT) application implementing a Browser Locking mechanism to support the learning process while improving the integrity of online examinations. The research employed the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using the Waterfall model, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed using Laravel, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Tailwind CSS. The results indicate that the developed system successfully integrates learning and academic assessment processes into a single platform, performs automated grading, and detects violations during online examinations through the Browser Locking mechanism, making the examination process more effective, controlled, and reliable while enhancing academic integrity.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to utilize Websites as a digital marketing medium. However, Elzora Beauty MSME did not have an optimized Website, resulting in low visibility in search engines. This study aims to design and implement a Content Management System (CMS) based on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as a digital marketing strategy for Elzora Beauty MSME.The research method consisted of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The Website was developed using Blogger as the CMS platform by implementing On-Page SEO, Technical SEO, and Off-Page SEO strategies. The evaluation was conducted using SEO Site Checkup, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Bing Webmaster. The results indicate that implementing an SEO-based CMS improved the quality of the Elzora Beauty Website. The SEO Site Checkup score increased from 71 to 81. According to Google Search Console, the Website achieved 216 impressions, 30 organic clicks, a Click-Through Rate (CTR) of 13.9%, and an average position of 5.5 in Google search results. In addition, Bing Webmaster recorded 88 impressions and 4 clicks. These findings indicate that implementing an SEO-based CMS contributed to improving the Website's visibility in search engines and supported the MSME's digital marketing strategy. However, further optimization is still required to improve the Website's overall performance.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting regional economic growth and improving community welfare. However, public perceptions regarding the development and contribution of MSMEs need to be identified to evaluate their role in society. This study aims to analyze the sentiment of MSME actors' perceptions regarding the development and contribution of MSMEs in Bulukumba Regency using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with sentiment analysis. Primary data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving eight culinary MSME owners operating in the Pantai Merpati area, Bulukumba Regency. The interview results were transcribed into textual data and processed through preprocessing stages, including cleaning, tokenizing, filtering, and stemming, before being classified into positive, negative, and neutral sentiment categories using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The findings indicate that the majority of respondents expressed positive sentiments regarding MSME development, service quality, product quality, digital technology utilization, and the contribution of MSMEs to the local economy. Neutral sentiment appeared only in statements containing factual information, while negative sentiment was found in a limited number of responses related to customer complaints that had been appropriately addressed by business owners. These findings suggest that MSMEs in Bulukumba Regency have contributed positively to improving family income, creating employment opportunities, and supporting local economic growth. Therefore, strengthening digital transformation, enhancing product and service quality, and providing continuous support for MSMEs are essential to improve their competitiveness and ensure sustainable regional economic development.

Abstract

Electrical energy waste remains a major challenge in household energy management, with human factors such as forgetting to turn off lights contributing significantly to unnecessary energy consumption. This study aimed to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart lighting system using Passive Infrared (PIR) and Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensors. The PIR sensor was utilized to detect human movement, while the LDR sensor was employed to measure ambient light intensity. An ESP32 microcontroller processed the sensor data and transmitted the information to the Blynk application for real-time monitoring and control. The research adopted a prototype development method consisting of problem identification, requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and evaluation using the Black Box Testing approach. The results demonstrated that the proposed system operated effectively with an overall success rate of 95.8%. Automatic lamp activation and PIR data transmission achieved 100% accuracy, LDR sensor readings reached 90%, and energy monitoring through the PZEM-004T module achieved 95% accuracy. The implementation of the proposed system improved energy efficiency through automated operation and real-time monitoring, providing a practical and reliable solution for smart home applications.

Abstract

The development of information technology is driving the transformation of document management from manual to digital systems, including certificate management. PT. Patria Utama Humanindo, as a company engaged in human resource management and development, regularly holds training and activities that result in certificates for participants. However, the process of creating, distributing, archiving, and verifying certificates is still carried out manually, resulting in various problems such as distribution delays, potential data errors, difficulty in retrieval of archives, and the risk of certificate forgery. Therefore, an integrated website-based e-certificate management system is needed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of certificate management. This research aims to design and develop a website-based e-certificate management system capable of managing participant data, activity data, digital certificate creation, certificate distribution, and certificate authenticity verification using a unique code. A literature review was conducted by examining previous studies related to e-certificates, web-based systems, and system development methods to obtain a clear theoretical basis and research position. The research methodology used was a case study, with PT. Patria Utama Humanindo as the research object. System development was conducted using the Waterfall method, encompassing the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system design was modeled using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) with an Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) approach. Research data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The expected outcome of this research is a website-based e-certificate management system design that can be a solution to support centralized, secure, and efficient certificate management at PT. Patria Utama Humanindo.

Abstract

Driver performance assessment is a critical aspect of transportation company operations; however, manual evaluation tends to be inefficient and prone to subjectivity. This study aims to classify driver performance at a transportation company in Surabaya using the K-Means Clustering algorithm based on historical delivery data from 2020 to 2025. The dataset comprises 31 drivers with 135 data records. The research workflow includes data collection, preprocessing through aggregation and Min-Max Scaling normalization, optimal cluster determination using the Elbow Method, clustering process, and evaluation using Silhouette Score and Davies-Bouldin Index. Results indicate that k=3 is the optimal number of clusters, categorizing drivers into three performance groups: High (7 drivers, 22.6%), Moderate (15 drivers, 48.4%), and Low (9 drivers, 29.0%). A Silhouette Score of 0.5948 and Davies-Bouldin Index of 0.5191 confirm that the clustering results are valid and of good quality. These findings are expected to serve as an objective, data-driven foundation for management in driver performance evaluation and development.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the delivery service industry demands transparent fleet positioning information to maintain customer trust. PT Naira Mitralogistik, a local shipping service company, still faces operational constraints due to conventional courier tracking methods, which lead to information gaps regarding manifest data and inaccurate Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA). This study aims to design and implement an Android-based live tracking system integrated with Google Maps SDK connected to a PHP backend and MySQL database. The software development follows the sequential Waterfall model, covering requirements analysis, UML diagramming, and system testing. The results indicate that the mobile application successfully transmits coordinate data automatically via an asynchronous background service utilizing the LocationCallback function to maintain tracking consistency in weak signal areas (blank spots). On the management side, the web-based monitoring dashboard visualizes courier positions and delivery manifest status in real-time. In conclusion, the system successfully automates operational logistics documentation and enhances managerial control efficiency at PT Naira Mitralogistik.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes to the field of education, particularly in supporting students in completing their final projects. This study aims to analyze the effect of Artificial Intelligence usage on the effectiveness of undergraduate students' final project completion at Bina Adinata Institute of Technology and Business. This research employed a descriptive quantitative method by collecting data through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 47 students selected using purposive sampling. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis based on five indicators: AI usage intensity, ease of AI use, AI utilization for information retrieval, AI utilization for academic writing, and AI output quality. The results indicate that the majority of respondents agreed and strongly agreed with all research indicators. AI was perceived as helpful in searching for information, finding references, understanding research materials, improving grammar, organizing final project content, and providing information relevant to research topics, thereby enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of final project completion. The findings imply that Artificial Intelligence can serve as an effective supporting technology to improve students' productivity and the quality of final project writing. However, AI should be used responsibly by balancing it with critical thinking skills, verification of information through credible academic sources, and adherence to academic integrity to maintain the quality of scientific work.
