Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of implementing cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems on the effectiveness of accounting information systems (AIS) through a literature review approach. Cloud ERP is a technological solution that offers cross-functional data integration and real-time access, which has the potential to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and accuracy of accounting information. This study was conducted by reviewing various scientific publications, books, and industry reports published in the last 5 to 10 years. The study results indicate that cloud-based ERP contributes positively to the improvement of operational efficiency, accuracy of financial reporting, and ease of information access that supports strategic decision-making. Features such as transaction automation, audit trails, and module integration in cloud ERP have proven to enhance the quality of information produced by the accounting system. However, the effectiveness of the system is still influenced by factors such as organizational readiness, user training, and implementation suitability.

Abstract

Optimising pharmacy financial management plays a crucial role in addressing the challenges of operational efficiency and business sustainability in the pharmaceutical industry amid increasingly competitive market conditions. As the primary managers, pharmacists have strategic responsibilities in planning, controlling, and reporting finances in a transparent and accountable manner. With good financial management—including budget planning, cash flow management, inventory control, and the use of information technology—pharmacists can minimise the risk of waste, maintain operational smoothness, and ensure business profitability. The active role of pharmacists also contributes to improving the quality of pharmaceutical services, the efficient use of resources, and adaptation to pharmaceutical business regulations, thereby becoming a key factor in maintaining the sustainability and competitiveness of pharmacies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine strategies for optimising the flow of materials, information and money in supply chain management (SCM) through the literature review method. Effectively integrated SCM can improve operational efficiency, accelerate response to market demand, and strengthen the company's competitiveness. Material flow optimisation is achieved through accurate demand planning, efficient inventory management, and strategic partnerships with suppliers. Meanwhile, optimised information flow is achieved by the application of digital technology, integration of information systems, and data transparency between supply chain actors. Efficient money flow management involves financial system integration, receivables and payables management, and the utilisation of supply chain finance. The study results show that the synergy of the three flows, supported by technology and collaboration, is essential to create an adaptive, responsive, and sustainable supply chain. This research is expected to be a reference for practitioners and academics in developing more effective supply chain management strategies in the era of global competition.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the dilemma of lowering interest rates by Bank Indonesia (BI) through a literature review of its impact on economic growth and rupiah exchange rate stability. The reduction in the BI benchmark interest rate is one of the main instruments of monetary policy that is expected to encourage consumption, investment, and lending, thereby accelerating national economic growth. However, this policy also brings risks to rupiah exchange rate stability, especially due to potential capital outflows and weakening the attractiveness of rupiah-denominated assets in the eyes of foreign investors. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach, analysing findings from various scientific journals, Bank Indonesia reports, and related economic publications. The results show that interest rate cuts are effective in promoting economic growth, but have the potential to increase exchange rate volatility if not balanced with adequate intervention and external risk management. Therefore, Bank Indonesia is faced with a trade-off between stimulating economic growth and protecting external macroeconomic stability, which requires prudent, measured, and coordinated policies with fiscal and macroprudential policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the strategy of structural reform and regulatory simplification as an effort to improve national economic competitiveness through a literature review. Regulatory reform and institutional restructuring are important agendas in creating a conducive business climate, overcoming overlapping regulations, and accelerating licensing and investment processes. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by reviewing various secondary sources, such as scientific journals, policy documents, and related research reports. The results show that regulatory simplification, digitalisation of public services, and policy harmonisation between the central and regional governments can improve the ease of doing business, attract investment, and encourage inclusive economic growth. However, challenges such as bureaucratic resistance, unsynchronised regulations, and limited institutional capacity still need to be overcome through strong political commitment, stakeholder participation, and regular regulatory evaluation to remain relevant to national and global economic dynamics.

Abstract

The development of the digital economy in the era of globalisation has brought significant changes to the economic legal system, particularly in relation to regulation, data protection, and cybersecurity. This research aims to analyse the challenges of economic law in Indonesia in the face of digital transformation, with a focus on the effectiveness of regulations, implementation of personal data protection, and efforts to strengthen cybersecurity. The method used is a literature study with a juridical-normative approach, examining legislation, doctrine, and previous research results. The results of the study show that although Indonesia has a number of regulations such as the Personal Data Protection Law and regulations related to cybersecurity, their implementation still faces obstacles in the form of regulatory disharmony, weak law enforcement, and low digital literacy in society. In addition, the challenges of globalisation and rapid technological development require harmonisation of regulations across countries and increased capacity of human resources in the fields of law and technology. This research recommends strengthening the legal framework, increasing cross-sector collaboration, and public education to create a safe, fair and sustainable digital economy ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of work-life balance (WLB) on job satisfaction and employee performance, as well as the mediating role of job satisfaction in this relationship. The sample consisted of 135 employees selected using probability sampling in the banking industry in Badung Regency. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 3.0. The findings reveal that WLB has a positive and significant effect on both job satisfaction and employee performance. Job satisfaction also has a significant positive effect on performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction partially mediates the effect of WLB on performance, supporting the framework of Social Exchange Theory, which emphasizes the importance of reciprocity in the employee-employer relationship. The practical implications highlight the importance of implementing WLB strategies to foster a healthy and productive work environment. Organizations are encouraged to develop flexible work policies and enhance job satisfaction to improve sustainable employee performance. Future research is recommended to broaden the scope across sectors and employ varied methodological approaches to deepen the understanding of the interrelationships among the studied variables.

Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of local businesses in the era of globalisation, focusing on the challenges of legal uncertainty, global competition, and the adaptive strategies implemented by local entrepreneurs. Globalisation has opened up opportunities for market access, but it has also increased the risks to the sustainability of local businesses due to the entry of global players who are superior in terms of capital, technology, and networks. Legal uncertainty manifests in various forms, including inconsistent regulatory changes, incompatibility with international law, and weak protection for domestic businesses. Through a literature review, this study identifies that local entrepreneurs address these challenges through product innovation, digital transformation, human resource development, and business network expansion. These adaptive strategies are not only important for maintaining their position in the domestic market but also key to penetrating global markets. Government support in the form of clear regulations, access to technology, and fair legal protection is essential for local businesses to develop sustainably. This study provides insights for business actors, government, and academics to understand the real conditions of local businesses in facing the ever-changing global era.
