Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze effective communication strategies used in distance education and their impact on the success of the learning process. The research method in this study used literature. The results of the literature review revealed that two-way communication between educators and students supports a more dynamic and interactive learning environment, which increases students' understanding of the material and motivation. The importance of educators providing timely and relevant feedback is a key factor in improving students' abilities as well as providing emotional support. Educator training in the use of digital communication tools is recognized as a prerequisite for the implementation of effective communication strategies. The study concludes that the development of educators' digital competencies and the availability of adequate technological resources are factors that support the achievement of communication effectiveness in distance education. Implications for educational practice include recommendations for the development of educator training programs, the integration of communication tools in learning platforms, and the formulation of policies that support the use of technologies that are innovative and responsive to student needs.

Abstract

Viktor E. Frankl believes that the key for a person to survive and live in times of crisis is to find and have a good meaning in life. However, when squeezed by difficult conditions such as the loss of a family member due effect of broken home, not everyone can find the right meaning in life, so they need professional help from a counselor to be able to find meaningful meaning in life. Therefore, this paper aims to describe Viktor E. Frankl's counseling approach regarding the meaning of life and its relevance in the current crisis. Using the literature review method on various sources (articles and scientific books) related to the topic of discussion. This research found that to help troubled individuals (depressed, anxious, useless) due to loss of meaning in life during the current crisis, a counselor can use individual counseling with the Viktor E. Frankl logotherapy approach with the help of several techniques such as paradoxical intention, dereflection, questions Socrates.

Abstract

The importance of education as a foundation for human growth and sustainability is highlighted, where education enables self-development and exploration of individual talents. In the context of rapid development in Indonesia, particularly in the construction sector, the importance of preparing skilled workforce through education in Vocational High Schools (SMK) is acknowledged. One key competency needed in the construction sector is proficiency in using AutoCAD software. However, learning AutoCAD in SMK faces several barriers, including students' lack of understanding and technical difficulties. Therefore, there is a need for more effective and engaging learning approaches, such as peer tutoring. Peer tutoring allows students to learn from each other and strengthen their skills and competencies. Additionally, the importance of vocational education in preparing students for entry into the industrial world, especially in the construction sector, is emphasized. The research method used is literature review, which aids in understanding and in-depth analysis of specific topics. Through this article, it is hoped that understanding of the importance of AutoCAD learning in SMK and potential solutions to enhance the quality of learning can be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of interactive media based on Canva to improve student learning outcomes at STIT Syekh Muhammad Nafis Tabalong. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to apply interactive media based on Canva to improve student learning outcomes at STIT Syekh Muhammad Nafis Tabalong. This type of research is field research and the approach used is a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were lecturers and students at STIT Syekh Muhammad Nafis Tabalong. The object of this study is the application of interactive media based on Canva to improve student learning outcomes at STIT Syekh Muhammad Nafis Tabalong. The data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation and documentary. Data processing techniques used data reduction, data display and data verification and data analysis using qualitative descriptive. The results of the study showed that the application of interactive media based on Canva to improve student learning outcomes at STIT Syekh Muhammad Nafis Tabalong was successful, because the average student score increased significantly after using Canva. In addition, students become more active and involved in learning, with the visualization and interactivity offered by Canva increasing their understanding of the material. Further discussion shows that Canva is effective in supporting diverse learning styles, improving critical thinking skills, and facilitating collaborative learning. The conclusion of this study is that Canva-based interactive media can significantly improve student learning outcomes and support a more effective and interactive learning process. However, the success of implementing this media is highly dependent on teacher competence and adequate technological infrastructure support. This study recommends improving teacher training and infrastructure development to optimize the use of Canva in education.

Abstract

Evaluation is necessary in the education system. In order to find out how well the educational process is running according to set criteria, it is necessary to implement an assessment system. In the context of evaluation, this means a phase of gradually collecting data before analyzing it to draw conclusions about the success of the learning system and whether it has met the proper objectives of national education. Since numerical data was not intended to be part of the results of this study, qualitative methods were used in its design. Given the nature of the topic under study, qualitative techniques were deemed most suitable for the collection and analysis of data for this study. ease of accessing relevant sources of information, and a more in-depth understanding of the research problem at hand without having to conduct direct experiments are benefits of the literature review approach. Bloom's Taxonomy provides a structured hierarchy for naming abilities in ascending order. There is a relationship for each level of Bloom's Taxonomy. To unlock the top level, you must first master the lower levels. There are three basic parts of Bloom's Taxonomy. cognitive domain, aflective domain, and psychomotor domain. the implementation of Bloom's Taxonomy in learning evaluation, highlights the importance of evaluation to achieve national education goals. Bloom's taxonomy divides educational objectives into three domains: cognitive, aflective, and psychomotor. Evaluation of learning outcomes plays an important role in motivating students and identifying factors that influence their success or failure. However, challenges such as teachers' lack of readiness and community support need to be overcome to achieve the goals of Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Learning is an activity that involves many different elements such as: students, teachers, curriculum, facilities and infrastructure. Before starting learning, teachers should pay attention to various elements of the learning system, such as: This includes learning preparation, planning, preparing relevant material, developing methods that are adapted to students' situations and conditions, as well as providing learning resources and other media. Learning tools play an important role in the success of the learning process, so learning tools must be created and followed by teachers. Data was obtained through instruments in the form of observation sheets, interview guides and questionnaires, followed by descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the validator evaluation, the learning device is declared valid. Proven to increase learning activities and improve students' creative thinking abilities. The learning tools developed in this research can be used by Aqidah Akhlak teachers and become motivation to always develop professional competence, especially in the learning process. The thinking skills that need to be developed by students are divided into two types, namely higher order thinking skills and lower order thinking skills. High-level thinking skills in the cognitive realm include students' abilities to analyze, evaluate, and create, all of which are advanced stages of low-level thinking skills which consist of students' skills in remembering, understanding, and applying. A directed process of critical thinking for mental activities using reason in solving problems, analyzing opinions carried out scientifically. Critical thinking is the ability to express opinions in a systematic way that enables students to form their own opinions with a deep understanding of an issue.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of supervision carried out by madrasa heads for teachers and the need for appropriate strategies to support its success. The aim of this research is to find out what the madrasa head's supervision strategy is for teachers and what the supporting and inhibiting factors are. The type of research used is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects were the head of the madrasa, deputy head of the madrasa for academic affairs and teachers. Furthermore, data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Then data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions/verification. The research results show that the Head of MTsN 4 Tabalong develops and guides teachers, provides information to teachers, and also builds a working network with stakeholders to collaborate to improve teacher quality. The madrasa head explains the role and targets to the maximum, carries out monitoring well and continuously, provides good support, provides motivation and inspiration to teachers, makes efforts to solve problems and provides solutions to teachers as a whole, so it can be concluded that the madrasa head's supervision strategy for teachers has been implemented well. The supporting factors are the teacher's condition, strong desire, and cooperative stakeholders. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are time, social jealousy, and low willingness to move on the part of some teachers.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the development of the performance of teachers by principals to improve the quality of learning PAI. The background of the problem is not optimal implementation guidance teacher performance by the principal, teacher competence weakness, lack of infrastructure facilities, has not been optimal management of information technology, and weak competitiveness, resulting in weakness of the quality of learning. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of Planning, Organizing, Implementation, Monitoring and assessment of performance coaching teacher by the principal to improve the quality of learning PAI. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with case study method. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. Results of this study summarized as follows: Planning begins with the consolidation of the principal by coaching participants (educators) and involves all aspects in schools through meetings and meetings; Organizing done by forming a management arrangement; Implementation by doing: fostering discipline, motivation, rewards and training; supervision is done by monitoring how the performance of teachers in schools and assessments carried out by assessing the performance of teachers whether in accordance with what is expected by the school or not. Suggestions from this study, among others, (1) The principal, should further enhance its role optimally and objectively by involving all the components and resources that exist in the school; (2) The PAI teachers should improve their competence and performance; (3) Disdik and MORA is expected to further enhance attention and assistance to schools in its territory; (4) The parents, should contribute to the school program and also support her son in collaboration with the school.

Abstract

Children's education in the digital age requires close cooperation between parents and teachers to ensure children's success and development. Good cooperation between parents and teachers plays an important role in providing holistic education and supporting children's development in the fast-changing digital era. The study discusses the role of parents and teachers in supporting children's education in the digital era and strategies to improve cooperation between them. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study. The result of this study is the role of parents and teachers in children's education in the digital era, parents have an important role in monitoring their children's digital activities, encouraging positive and responsible use of technology and providing emotional support and motivation in children's learning. Teacher's role: Integrate technology in the learning process to improve children's digital skills, act as a facilitator in teaching children about the wise use of technology and communicate openly with parents about the development and challenges in children's education in the digital era. Strategies to improve parent-teacher cooperation include open communication, establishing effective communication channels  between  parents  and  teachers  through  regular  meetings,  online communication or specialized education apps and encouraging active participation of parents in school activities related to technology and learning in the digital era.

Abstract

This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method to enhance the independence of children in PAUD KB Mawar. CAR is a reflective approach involving action participants, designed to improve rational capabilities in performing tasks and deepen understanding of the actions taken. It is conducted in four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subject is PAUD KB Mawar, with the object being the independence of 3-4-year-old children, totaling 10 children. Research instruments consist of observation and documentation instruments used to measure natural and social phenomena observed during CAR implementation. The findings indicate that learning at PAUD KB Mawar provides significant opportunities for educators to develop children's values, attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Before this research, daily activities felt monotonous, prompting educators to develop children's independence through habituation methods. Active teacher involvement plays a crucial role in observing and guiding children during habituation. CAR analysis reveals a significant improvement in children's independence. Initially, most children were unable to perform tasks such as tidying up toys, putting on shoes, and others. However, through well-executed habituation methods, children were able to achieve criteria for very good development in several aspects of independence. Supporting factors include the role of educators as role models, conducive environments, and continuous positive habituation. On the other hand, inhibiting factors involve parents' behaviors of overly pampering their children and being reluctant to leave them at school. This can delay the formation of children's independence From the research and observation results, it is concluded that habituation methods can eflectively enhance children's independence at PAUD KB Mawar. Despite inhibiting factors, consistent eflorts in providing positive habituation can overcome these obstacles.
