Abstract

The drug problem in Indonesia is still something that is urgent and complex. In the last decade this problem has become widespread. This is proven by the significant increase in the number of drug abusers or addicts, along with the increasing disclosure of drug crime cases with increasingly diverse patterns and increasingly massive syndicate networks. Indonesian society, and even the world community in general, is currently facing a very worrying situation due to the widespread use of various types of illegal drugs. This concern is increasingly sharpened due to the rampant illicit trafficking of narcotics which has spread to all levels of society, including among the younger generation. This will greatly influence the life of the nation and state in the future. The behavior of some teenagers who have clearly ignored the values, norms and laws that apply in society is one of the causes of widespread drug use among the younger generation. In everyday life in society, there are still many teenagers who still abuse drugs.

Abstract

One effort to increase agricultural yields from cassava or cassava ingredients is to process them into various kinds of preparations, one of which is cassava chips. There are many MSMEs that produce cassava chips as a business, this can result in an increase in the selling value of the cassava or cassava plants. . In order for the value of sales of cassava chips to increase, it is necessary to improve the quality of the cassava chip products. The increase in cassava chips can result in increased satisfaction from consumers who buy the cassava chips product. This can ultimately have an impact in terms of increasing sales of cassava chips. Increasing sales of cassava chips can provide benefits for MSMEs and can increase the selling power of cassava sendırı or cassava chips.

Abstract

The National Police of the Republic of Indonesia is a service organization that has the responsibility to maintain order and peace in the country by enforcing the law and reducing criminal activities. Working as a police officer is closely related to discipline. As state servants, police officers are required to have discipline in carrying out their duties. The police have quite heavy duties and responsibilities, and there are stress triggers due to having to deal with traumatic events that have a physical and mental impact, such as violence, murder, suicide, situations of abuse, and seeing corpses. Police killings and suicides are certainly a serious concern for the police and society. Stress is the body's reaction to changes that require physical, psychological and emotional response, regulation and/or adaptation. Stress can originate from situations, conditions, thoughts, and/or cause frustration, anger, nervousness, and anxiety. Pressure that comes from ourselves and the external environment that is beyond our control or exceeds the limits of our internal ability to handle. Stress usually shows feelings when someone is stuck with a problem that they cannot overcome. Work stress is a person's condition when faced with opportunities/opportunities, obstacles or demands which become a dynamic condition for a person. The trigger factors are work stress, including environmental, organizational and workload. This is inseparable from the fact that police have high work demands, so it is not uncommon for them to desert or take extreme measures, such as committing suicide

Abstract

West Java Province is one of the areas in Indonesia that is often affected by natural disasters, such as floods, landslides, and earthquakes. According to the West Java BPBD, in 2023 there were 970 disaster events in West Java Province, which resulted in 26 deaths and 98,860 people displaced. As a disaster-prone area, information about disasters is needed by the community to monitor disasters that occur. This research aims to develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping the number of natural disasters in West Java Province used to store and display disaster distribution maps. This GIS was developed using HTML, CSS, and Javascript programming languages. The results of this research are in the form of a geographic information system mapping the number of natural disaster events in West Java Province where users can view data in tabulation and graphics.

Abstract

Coconut plantations play an important role in the plantation sector in Indonesia, especially in the Pemalang area. This article analyzes the distribution of coconut plantation production in Pemalang district/city using data on production and area of coconut cultivation based on Pemalang district/city. Production distribution analysis includes statistical methods and geographic mapping to identify coconut production patterns in each administrative region. The results of this analysis provide an overview of the significant differences in coconut production between districts/cities in Pemalang from 2018 to 2020. Apart from that, this analysis also provides an in-depth understanding of the distribution of coconut production in Pemalang District/City and will later become the basis for strategic planning to increase coconut plantation production, improving agricultural practices and improving the welfare of local communities and farmers.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an Arduino-based fan with a motion sensor that can detect the presence of people around it. Fans are often used to provide thermal comfort, but fans often work continuously without considering the presence of people in the room, resulting in wasted energy. In this research, an occupancy sensor is used to detect the presence of a person near the fan, and Arduino controls the fan speed based on this data. Experimental methods are used to test system performance that optimizes energy consumption and provides comfort to users. The research results show that an Arduino-based fan with an occupancy sensor can significantly reduce energy consumption and improve user experience by providing a fan that operates automatically based on demand. This research has the potential to reduce environmental impacts and energy costs while providing a solution for using fans that are more efficient and comfortable.

Abstract

The extreme temperatures that occur in Indonesia mean that we must always maintain room temperature which has an effect on body temperature. A room temperature that is too high will cause the body to release a lot of fluids which can result in dehydration, while a body temperature that is too low can make it difficult for the body to move and make the body stiff. Therefore, in this study the aim is to create an automatic room temperature accompanied by humidity. The room is equipped with an Arduino which functions like a thermometer. In this practicum, it is about temperature and humidity instrumentation using the DH11 sensor. The components used are the DHT11 sensor, Arduino Uno, jumper cables and others. Data taken during the practicum this is 3 pieces of data. This test also produces output, namely DHT 11 and a laptop to display the output results via the Arduino module. Sensor output is displayed in real time. To display the temperature in this Arduino sketch, you can open it in the Arduino IDE application

Abstract

In the rapidly developing digital era, the Internet of Things (IoT) and the popularity of smartphone control applications have opened the door to innovation in the development of automation and device control systems. This research project aims to design and develop a smart lamp that can be operated using an Arduino-based smartphone device. The combination of advances in IoT and rapidly growing demand for remote control solutions makes this project relevant and interesting. These smart lights will allow users to control their home lighting via a smartphone app, creating great flexibility and potential energy savings. In addition, this project will enable the development of skills in the fields of programming, electronics, and design, as well as contributing to the open-source community by sharing the design and source code of this project. This project will outline the development of smart lighting that focuses on energy efficiency and stronger integration with smartphone technology, which has potential impact in daily life and applications in various industrial sectors.

Abstract

This research aims to find out Islamic law regarding the endowment of burial grounds. This type of research is a juridical-empirical approach, used to analyze various statutory regulations related to waqf land while the empirical approach is used to analyze law as patterned community behavior in people's lives. The data analysis method uses an inductive method starting from general to specific. The research results show that changing the function of burial waqf land into private property is not permitted in Islamic law, because the land has been donated so it cannot be taken back or repurposed. In the legislation regarding waqf in Indonesia, objects that have been donated cannot be transferred. For the act of transferring waqf objects, a criminal sanction of imprisonment for a maximum of 3 (three) months and a fine of up to idr. 10,000 (ten thousand rupiah).
