Abstract

This study aims to obtain complete, detailed, accurate, and in-depth information about the impact of the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum on cognitive learning outcomes of students in Science and Social Studies subjects in the 4th grade at SD Negeri 20 Makrampai for the 2024-2025 academic year. The research is quantitative, using a survey research method. The study population consists of 27 4th-grade students at SD Negeri 20 Makrampai. Data were collected through a questionnaire consisting of 21 statements and a multiple-choice test consisting of 20 questions. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The research findings indicate that: 1) The implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum is in very good condition, with a percentage of 83.2%; 2) Cognitive learning outcomes of students in Science and Social Studies subjects in the 4th grade are in good condition, with a percentage of 80.92%; 3) There is no significant influence between the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum and cognitive learning outcomes of students in Science and Social Studies subjects in the 4th grade at SD Negeri 20 Makrampai. This is because the sig value obtained is 0.310, which is greater than the significance level of  0.05. However, the relationship between the two variables is positive, meaning that the better the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum, the higher the cognitive learning outcomes of students in Science and Social Studies. The R Square value obtained is 4.1%, indicating that the contribution of the Independent Learning Curriculum to cognitive learning outcomes in Science and Social Studies is 4.1%, while the remaining 95.9% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal about: 1). Teachers' learning planning strategies in increasing the learning interest of hyperactive children in the IIC SDS IT Shultoniyah Sambas class for the 2022-2023 Academic Year? 2). Strategies for implementing teacher learning in increasing the learning interest of hyperactive children in the IIC SDS IT Shultoniyah Sambas class for the 2022-2023 Academic Year? 3). Teacher learning evaluation strategies in increasing the learning interest of hyperactive children in the IIC SDS IT Shultoniyah Sambas class for the 2022-2023 Academic Year?. This research technique uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. The results of the study show that: 1. Teachers' learning planning strategies in increasing the learning interest of hyperactive children in the IIC SDS IT Shultoniyah Sambas class for the 2022-2023 Academic Year, namely, students are always directed to do the 5M, namely observing, asking, trying, concluding and communicating so that the learning process will be easy to do, especially for hyperactive children. 2. Strategies for implementing teacher learning in increasing the learning interest of hyperactive children in the IIC SDS IT Shultoniyah Sambas class for the 2022- 2023 Academic Year, namely, using cooperative learning methods with a scientific approach so that students who are identified as hyperactive are smooth in accepting the learning process provided by the teacher. Teachers also use ice breaking when it is not conducive in class. Usually teachers do singing and playing games. 3. Teacher learning evaluation strategies in increasing the learning interest of hyperactive children in the IIC SDS IT Shultoniyah Sambas class for the 2022- 2023 Academic Year, namely, how to provide KKM standards that are different from normal children. If equalized, it will make it difficult to achieve the learning outcomes of hyperactive children.

Abstract

Eco-agriculture plays a vital role in supporting global food security through approaches that maintain ecological balance and long-term sustainability. By implementing agricultural practices such as the use of organic fertilisers, crop rotation and natural pest control, soil quality and natural resources are maintained and enhanced, which in turn increases agricultural productivity. In addition, eco-agriculture contributes to the well- being of farmers and rural communities by diversifying farming practices that increase income and access to resources. Collaboration among stakeholders, including governments, research institutions, the private sector and communities, is essential to foster the adoption of innovative technologies and supportive policies, thereby creating a more efficient and equitable food system. Eco-agriculture offers a potential solution to achieve agricultural sector sustainability and global food security.

Abstract

This research presents a literature review on budget efficiency in political campaigns, particularly in the context of electoral campaigns. The research aims to identify elements and best practices that can improve political campaign budget efficiency. The literature reviewed shows that careful planning, technology utilisation, community engagement and transparency practices play an important role in effective budget management. Strategic planning enables appropriate resource allocation, while technology provides cost-effective solutions to reach voters. In addition, collaboration with various stakeholders and the use of volunteers can significantly reduce expenditure. Transparency and accountability in budget management are also key factors that can increase public trust in candidates and political parties. This research concludes that budget efficiency in political campaigns is not only related to cost savings, but also an indicator of prudent and ethical management, which ultimately contributes to the success of the campaign and increases public trust.

Abstract

Food security in Gaza has become a growing issue exacerbated by prolonged conflict, leading to extreme hunger, malnutrition, and stunting among children. This study aims to analyze the impact of the food security crisis in Gaza and international responses, with a particular focus on Indonesia's role in humanitarian assistance. Based on ten reviewed studies, it is found that severe food insecurity in Gaza is caused by the destruction of food infrastructure and the negative impact of war on the local economy. Several countries, including Indonesia, have actively contributed humanitarian aid; however, logistical and political challenges hinder effective distribution. Therefore, an integrated approach is needed to improve food security in Gaza through diplomacy, direct aid, and sustainable development.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) Teachers' efforts to increase the learning interest of grade III students at SDN 04 Tanjung Putat. (2) Supporting and inhibiting factors for teachers' efforts to increase the learning interest of grade III students at SDN 04 Tanjung Putat. (3) Implications of teachers' efforts to increase the learning interest of grade III students at SDN 04 Tanjung Putat. This study is descriptive qualitative and the data collection techniques for this study are interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show: (1) Teachers' efforts to increase the learning interest of grade III students at SDN 04 Tanjung Putat are by using various learning methods, providing learning media, providing reinforcement (praise or prizes) to students, taking an emotional approach to students, and carrying out activities that please students such as singing before carrying out the learning process to build a pleasant atmosphere. (2) Supporting and inhibiting factors for teachers' efforts to increase the learning interest of grade III students at SDN 04 Tanjung Putat consist of two factors: the first is internal factors originating from within the students, including student health and psychological factors such as student intelligence. secondly external factors, namely factors originating from outside the students such as the family environment, community environment and facilities available at school. (3) The implications of teacher efforts in increasing the learning interest of class III students at SDN 04 Tanjung Putat are the presence of a response or interest in learning. Students who are interested in following lessons will pay attention to the material presented by the teacher, actively ask or answer questions from the teacher, do not delay doing assignments, and when students are involved in learning, students will feel happy.

Abstract

This study explores the nature of children and their psychological dimensions through the perspectives of Islam and contemporary psychology. In the Islamic view, children are seen as a trust from God, with rights and responsibilities that must be fulfilled by parents and society. Children are regarded as sacred beings and require nurturing to develop their fitrah. From the perspective of contemporary psychology, children are treated as individuals who develop through various stages of cognitive, social and emotional development. Contemporary psychology emphasises the importance of environmental stimulation and interpersonal relationships in shaping a child's personality and psychological well-being. An integration between these two perspectives reveals that both emphasise the importance of fulfilling children's basic needs to reach their full potential. The Islamic perspective adds a spiritual dimension that provides a moral and ethical foundation in child development, while the contemporary psychology approach offers empirical tools and methods to understand and address developmental challenges. The study concludes that a holistic approach that combines moral and spiritual values with modern scientific knowledge can provide a comprehensive framework to support children's optimal development in various dimensions of their lives.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal about: 1) Planning a contextual approach to learning mathematics in grade IV on approximation materials at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam Sambas for the 2024-2025 Academic Year; 2) Implementation of a contextual approach to grade IV mathematics learning on approximation materials at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam Sambas for the 2024-2025 Academic Year; 3) The results of the implementation of a contextual approach to grade IV mathematics learning on approximation materials at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam Sambas for the 2024- 2025 Academic Year. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of phenomenological research. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that; 1) Planning a contextual approach to learning mathematics in grade IV on approximation materials at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam Sambas for the 2024-2025 Academic Year, namely, at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam Sambas, the development of approximation teaching materials using a contextual approach has succeeded in increasing students' interest, but faces challenges in ensuring varied understanding and time constraints. 2) The implementation of a contextual approach to grade IV mathematics learning on approximation material at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam Sambas for the 2024- 2025 Academic Year, namely, teachers design approximation learning with a contextual approach that relates mathematical concepts to daily life, but challenges arise in students' varied understanding and time constraints. To increase engagement, group discussions, practical assignments, and props adapted to students' abilities are used, and evaluations are carried out through practice, observation, and reflection. 3) The results of the implementation of the contextual approach to grade IV mathematics learning on approximation material at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam Sambas for the 2024- 2025 Academic Year, namely, The contextual approach at SDS Tarbiyatul Islam Sambas is effective in increasing the understanding of the concept of approximation, problem-solving skills, motivation, student involvement, and collaborative skills, with evaluation results showing a positive increase.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe: 1) Teachers' time discipline in teaching at MIS Muhammadiyah Semantir in the 2023-2024 Academic Year; 2) What are the obstacles for the principal in disciplining teaching time at MIS Muhammadiyah Semantir in the 2023-2024 Academic Year; 3) Efforts by the principal in overcoming obstacles to disciplining teaching time at MIS Muhammadiyah Semantir in the 2023-2024 Academic Year. This study uses a qualitative approach and a qualitative descriptive research type. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. (1) Teachers' time discipline in teaching at MIS Muhammadiyah Semantir in the 2023-2024 Academic Year are as follows: first, teachers feel bored in teaching, second, lack of teacher assertiveness in obeying regulations, third, lack of responsibility in teaching. (2) The obstacles faced by the head of the madrasah in disciplining teaching time at MIS Muhammadiyah in the Academic Year are as follows: first, the head of the madrasah has not provided a policy on time discipline, second, lack of attention to teacher attendance when coming to the madrasah, third, lack of awareness in disciplining time. (3) The forms of efforts by the head of the madrasah in overcoming obstacles to teaching time discipline at MIS Muhammadiyah Semantir are as follows: first, the head of the madrasah gives verbal warnings to teachers who are late, second, provides coaching and monitoring during meetings.
