Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of Pancasila in maintaining national integration in Indonesia, as well as to identify social challenges that potentially threaten national unity. The main issues include the persistence of intolerance, social inequality, and the negative influences of globalization and digital media which weaken the value of unity. These issues demand an in-depth review of the effectiveness of Pancasila as a filter and unifying agent in this disruptive era. The research method employs a qualitative approach with literature study as the primary data source. The analysis was conducted by examining literature on the implementation of Pancasila's values in societal life and educational practices in Indonesia. The analytical focus was placed on identifying the mechanisms that make the principles of Pancasila relevant in responding to horizontal conflicts. The results indicate that Pancasila plays a crucial role as an ideological foundation capable of uniting diversity through its core values. Pancasila serves as a guideline in building national character and directing public policies to be oriented towards the interests of all people. Strengthening the internalization of Pancasila's values through character education and inclusive policies is the main strategy for preventing national disintegration. Therefore, systematic and continuous efforts are needed to implement the values of Pancasila by emphasizing cross-cultural dialogue and the enforcement of just laws, so that national integration can be maintained amidst the challenges of the modern era. This study recommends the reactivation of national forums as a means to consolidate the values of the state's foundation.

Abstract

This research aims to comprehensively analyze the concept of a citizen, the position of citizens within the state governance system, the mechanisms for determining citizenship, and the status of Indonesian Citizens (WNI) based on the national legal framework. The issues examined include how the definition of a citizen is formulated in citizenship theory and the constitution, how the constitutional position of Indonesian Citizens is regulated in the 1945 Constitution, and how the mechanisms for acquiring, losing, and restoring citizenship are established through Law No. 12 of 2006 and its implementing regulations. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach through a literature study, utilizing data sources such as constitutional documents, citizenship laws, Constitutional Court rulings, national and international academic literature, and previous relevant research. The results indicate that Indonesia's citizenship system is constitutional, legal, and oriented towards protecting citizens through systematic and adaptive regulations concerning rights, obligations, and citizenship administration procedures. The findings also reveal that contemporary issues such as limited dual citizenship, mixed marriages, global migration, and the existence of the Indonesian diaspora demand enhanced citizenship literacy and regulatory refinements to be more responsive to modern socio-political changes. Overall, this research provides theoretical and practical contributions to strengthening citizenship education, fostering national character, and developing more inclusive and equitable public policies regarding the status, protection, and participation of citizens within the Indonesian constitutional system.

Abstract

This article examines God's consistency in the dynamics of covenant change by examining the concepts of berit in the Hebrew tradition and diatheke in the context of the New Testament. Through a theological exegetical approach that combines historical, linguistic, and narrative analysis, this study demonstrates that changes in the form, purpose, and expression of the covenant do not signal a change in God's character, but rather affirm His faithfulness in salvation history. Berit presents the relational foundation between God and people, where God's initiative and commitment are central. Meanwhile, the development of diatheke in Christ demonstrates the ultimate fulfillment of God's promise, paving the way for a new covenant that is universal, transformational, and rooted in grace. This article also highlights theological implications for contemporary believers, including understandings of faith identity, ethical life, and the ecclesiastical responsibility as a covenant community. Overall, this study confirms that God's consistency is fundamental to the reinterpretation of the covenant in the contemporary context, while also providing direction for a relevant and responsible life of faith.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between digital discipleship and mental health in the faith formation of Christian teenagers in virtual worlds. Employing a qualitative library‑research design, it integrates practical theology, adolescent psychology, and digital media studies within the framework of discipleship theology and shalom. The findings indicate that digital discipleship practices such as hybrid worship, online small groups, and mentoring through social media provide wide access to biblical teaching and communal support, yet simultaneously emerge amid high levels of anxiety, loneliness, and performative spirituality. The virtual world is therefore understood as an ambivalent locus theologicus: a space of faith formation and a potential source of mental‑health risks. The article proposes conceptual categories such as healing digital liturgies, faith communities as counter‑communities to algorithmic culture, and digital Sabbath as a Christian discipleship discipline, and outlines practical implications for youth discipleship curricula and pastoral care.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the use of affixation in the compositions written by sixth-grade students of SD Negeri 4 Beraban, Kediri, Tabanan. The most dominant types of affixation observed include prefixes, suffixes, circumfixes, and combined affixes. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection method used is the observational method (simak), with the basic technique of tapping (sadap), followed by advanced techniques, namely non-participatory observation (simak bebas libat cakap) and recording. The results of this study indicate that, in the students’ compositions, the most frequently occurring prefixes are {me(N)-}, {di-}, {ter-}, {se-}, and {ber-}. In addition, the most dominant suffix identified is {-an}. One circumfix that appears most frequently is {ke-/-an}. Lastly, the most commonly found combined affix is {per-/-an}. Several factors contribute to the occurrence of these types of affixation. These include the thematic focus of the compositions, which predominantly revolve around holidays; the fact that most of the compositions are narrative in nature; and the students’ prior exposure to affixation instruction from the fourth through the sixth grade. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the students are capable of using affixes appropriately in terms of form, function, and meaning, as well as applying them effectively in their written compositions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the relationship between parent–child attachment and children’s social interaction in the city of Bandung, placing both within a psychosocial framework. The study employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design. The study sample comprised 120 children aged 10–12 years living with their parents or primary carers, selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted via questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The parent–child attachment instrument was adapted from the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA), whilst the child social interaction instrument was developed based on indicators of communication, cooperation, empathy, participation, and self-adjustment. Reliability test results showed that the parent–child attachment instrument had a Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of 0.884 and the child social interaction instrument of 0.861. Data analysis was conducted descriptively, followed by normality tests, linearity tests, Pearson’s correlation, and simple linear regression. The research results indicate that parent–child attachment falls into the high category with an average score of 78.6 or 81.9%, whilst children’s social interaction also falls into the high category with an average score of 67.4 or 79.3%. The Pearson correlation test revealed a positive and significant relationship between parent–child attachment and children’s social interaction, with a correlation coefficient of 0.612 and a significance level of 0.000. The results of the simple linear regression indicated that parent–child attachment contributed 37.4% to children’s social interaction. From a psychosocial perspective, these findings confirm that the quality of emotional relationships within the family not only influences children’s psychological well-being but also shapes their social functioning in relation to peers and the surrounding environment. This study recommends strengthening the roles of the family, school, and helping professionals in supporting children’s social development more effectively through integrated interventions combining psychological and social aspects.

Abstract

This paper examines the theological significance of the promise of blessing in Genesis 12:1-9 and its implications for the calling of the Church today. This study uses a historical-critical approach, demonstrating that God's call to Abram was a divine initiative that led to complete obedience. The promise of blessing was not only personal but universal, making Abram a channel of blessing for the entire nation. In the historical context of the Ancient Near East, this call was revolutionary because it led Abram to abandon his social, economic, and religious systems. The results of this study that God's blessing always has a purpose. The result of this study show that the promise of blessing in Genesis 12:1-9 is purposeful and universal, and is the theological basis for the Church’s calling as a channel of blessing today.
