Abstract

This study aims to examine the construction of Christian theology within the context of local culture as an effort to strengthen the faith and practice of the church in Indonesia. In a pluralistic social reality, the church is challenged to reinterpret the Christian faith to remain relevant to the dynamics of culture and the lives of its people. Through a contextual theological approach, this study highlights the importance of dialogue between God's revelation and local cultural values ​​imbued within society. Christian theology is understood as the foundation that strengthens the church's identity and spirituality, while local culture serves as the space in which faith takes root, grows, and bears fruit. The process of integrating the two produces a theology that is not only orthodox in its teachings but also orthopraxic in its concrete actions within society

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the integration of Christian theology and local cultural values ​​in the formation of transformative church leadership in Indonesia. This integration is crucial because the church lives and serves in diverse cultural contexts, so effective leadership needs to be rooted in Christian faith while being relevant to the social realities of society. Through a descriptive qualitative approach with a review of theological and cultural literature, this study found that local cultural values ​​such as mutual cooperation, deliberation, moral responsibility, and solidarity align with the leadership principles taught by Christ, namely love, service, and sacrifice. Contextualizing theology through local cultural values ​​does not mean changing the substance of the Gospel, but rather presenting it in a relevant and communicative manner for the congregation. Furthermore, this study demonstrates that transformative church leadership born from the synthesis of theology and culture has the potential to build an inclusive, adaptive, and transformative church.

Abstract

In the competitive hospitality industry, financial efficiency is crucial for operational sustainability and stability. This study aims to analyse the implementation of system integration between the Accounts Payable (AP), Receiving, Store, and Purchasing departments in improving financial efficiency at Mercure Ibis Samarinda Hotel. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies of employees in the hotel's four main departments. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the integration of interdepartmental systems has successfully increased work efficiency by up to 50%, strengthened internal control, and improved the accuracy and transparency of financial reports. In addition, the integrated system also facilitates the audit process, speeds up managerial decision-making, and reduces the risk of administrative errors. This study concludes that the integration of the AP, Receiving, Store, and Purchasing systems has a positive impact on the financial efficiency and operational effectiveness of hotels. The successful implementation of the system is highly dependent on management support and human resource readiness. Thus, the results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for the hospitality industry in optimising digital technology-based financial management

Abstract

The organizational structure of a school is a formal framework that regulates the division of tasks, authority, and responsibilities among elements within the institution. This structure significantly influences how managerial decision-making is carried out by principals, vice principals, teachers, and administrative staff. This study aims to analyze the relationship between school organizational structure and the effectiveness of managerial decision-making. The method used is a literature study by reviewing relevant references in educational management, organizational structure, and decision-making practices in schools. The results show that a clear, flexible, and participatory organizational structure can improve decision-making effectiveness by ensuring more efficient communication, better coordination, and well-distributed responsibilities. Conversely, rigid and bureaucratic structures may slow down the process and reduce the school’s adaptability to change. The findings highlight the importance of principals in designing an organizational structure that supports collaboration, transparency, and efficiency in managerial decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the potential of tourist destinations, tourist perceptions, and tourism development priorities in the city of Medan. Four main destinations, namely Maimun Palace, Al-Mashun Grand Mosque, Tjong A Fie Mansion, and Rahmat International Wildlife Museum & Gallery, were the focus of the study given their strategic role as icons of urban tourism based on history, religion, and education. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach through field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study show a significant increase in the number of tourist visits in 2024. The social, cultural, and economic potential of the four destinations has been proven to support the sustainable development of the tourism industry. Tourists' perceptions of the quality of the destinations tend to be positive, although several weaknesses were found, particularly in terms of service, cleanliness, vendor management, and professionalism in management. The study concludes that tourism development in Medan requires an integrative strategy involving infrastructure improvements, strengthened digital promotion, community empowerment, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to create highly competitive destinations.

Abstract

The internal safety training at Hotel Mercure and Ibis Samarinda aims to enhance the technical skills, work discipline, and knowledge of employees particularly the security team in handling fire emergencies. The training employed an evaluative method with a descriptive quantitative approach, consisting of three main stages: situation analysis and program design, training implementation, and result evaluation. The program was conducted through realistic fire simulations using Fire Extinguishers (APAR), hydrants, and fire balls. Participants were trained in several scenarios, including fire extinguishing, victim evacuation, and first aid, emphasizing teamwork and coordination. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in participants’ technical skills, particularly in mastering firefighting tools and maintaining effective coordination during simulations. Furthermore, work discipline also improved, as reflected in participants’ punctuality, adherence to procedures, and individual responsibility. This training not only strengthened employee preparedness in dealing with fire hazards but also contributed to building a sustainable safety culture within the hotel environment.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has changed marketing patterns and communication strategies for companies in various sectors, including the heavy equipment industry. This community service activity aims to analyse and optimise the use of social media as an effective communication and promotional tool at PT Hayyu Pratama Dealer, an official distributor of heavy equipment brands including Power Plus, Sunward, Liugong, Shacman, and UD Trucks. Through a participatory descriptive approach, this activity explores the company's digital communication practices, particularly the use of the TikTok platform as a promotional medium. The results of the activity show that social media is capable of increasing customer awareness and engagement, but still faces challenges in converting viewers into potential buyers (leads). The recommendations provided include increasing case study-based educational content, optimising B2B communication strategies, and digital marketing training for the company's internal team

Abstract

This study analyses the manual financial management system implemented at PT Hayyu Pratama Dealer and its impact on the company's operational efficiency. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods through direct interviews with financial staff and documentation related to the company's financial administration processes. The results show that transaction recording is still done manually using Microsoft Excel, which requires high accuracy and considerable time. The verification process is carried out in layers to ensure accuracy, but on the other hand, it slows down the administrative process. The biggest challenges faced are the risk of input errors, incomplete transaction evidence from vendors, and increased workload when transaction volumes are high. This study recommends the use of a digital financial system to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting speed. Overall, financial digitalisation is considered a strategic step to improve the company's operational effectiveness and competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of mining law regulations in environmental compliance enforcement in Indonesia through a systematic literature review. Although Indonesia has a relatively comprehensive regulatory framework covering licensing, EIA, reclamation, and post-mining, studies have shown that the effectiveness of these rules has not been fully reflected in practice. Inconsistency in implementation, weak supervisory capacity, and overlapping authority between levels of government are the main factors that hinder the success of environmental compliance enforcement. In addition, the compliance of mining companies is affected by a combination of regulatory and non-regulatory factors, including market pressures, international standards, and community participation. The results of the thematic analysis show that the issue of implementation is more dominant than the issue of regulatory substance. This research emphasizes the need to strengthen institutional capacity, harmonize regional central governance, and use of supervision technology as a strategic effort to increase the effectiveness of regulations and realize sustainable mining governance.

Abstract

This research uses quantitative. This type of research is associative. The population in this study amounted to 72. With a sample of 30 children. for the validity test, 10 children were taken. Data collection tools using indirect communication techniques, observation and validity and reliability tests. The results were tested by testing the validity and reliability as a prerequisite test. The data analysis technique was calculated using IBM SPSS Statistics Ver.24. The 1st and 2nd sub-problems were answered using a simple regression test while the 3rd sub-problem was answered using the one-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. Based on the results of the SPSS analysis, the sig value in the Annova table is 0.900 70.05 meaning that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. It means that there is no significant influence between television shows on children's morals. The relationship between variable television shows (X) on variable children's morals (Y). shown by the model summary table with an R of: 0.24 or 2.4% are in the "Very low" category. Whether the combination of the X variable against the Y variable can be seen in the R Square value in the Summary table, which is 0.001 or 0.1%, while 99.9% is influenced by other factors. The regression equation is Y = 45.405-0.035 X. This means that if the value is 0, the child's morals are 45.405, but if the value of television shows increases by one, the children's morals will decrease by 0.035 every one unit. So based on the regression equation television shows have a negative effect on children's morals.
