Abstract

The Village Financial System (SISKEUDES) is a crucial instrument for achieving transparent and accountable village financial management. This research is motivated by the need to strengthen the village head's oversight function regarding the implementation of SISKEUDES as a form of good village governance. The research problem formulation includes the supervisory strategies implemented by the village head and the factors influencing them. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that the village head's oversight strategy is integrative through a participatory approach, direct involvement, public transparency, and internal coordination. Supporting and inhibiting factors include human resource capacity, infrastructure, the role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD), and the level of community participation. In conclusion, the effectiveness of oversight is highly dependent on the synergy between village leadership, apparatus capacity, and institutional social support.

Abstract

Public services are a key component of village governance, geared toward meeting the needs and interests of the community. The village head plays a crucial role in establishing policies and implementing public services at the village level. This study aims to describe and analyze the role of the village head in improving public services in Selebung Ketangga Village, Keruak District. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection methods including interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that the Selebung Ketangga Village Head plays an active role in improving public services by acting as a motivator, facilitator, and mobilizer. As a motivator, the Village Head encourages active community participation in village government and development activities. In his role as a facilitator, the Village Head facilitates community access to administrative and social services and fosters good communication between the village government and residents. As a mobilizer, the Village Head mobilizes local resources, including youth and the Youth Organization (Karang Taruna), to contribute to village development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy and development of community salt management in increasing sales results and product quality in Pemongkong Village, Jerowaru District, East Lombok Regency. This village is known as one of the centers of community salt production on Lombok Island, but still faces various problems related to business management, marketing, and product quality improvement. These problems have an impact on the low competitiveness and selling value of local salt in the market. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through field observations, in-depth interviews with salt farmers, salt business group managers, and village officials, as well as other supporting documentation. Data analysis techniques used an interactive model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the marketing strategy implemented by the salt farming community in Pemongkong Village is still conventional, namely through direct sales to middlemen without adequate packaging and branding. However, there are efforts to develop management, such as the implementation of a geomembrane pond system, training for salt business groups (KUB), and improving production quality. The main obstacles faced include limited market access, low marketing literacy, and limited infrastructure support.

Abstract

The agricultural sector plays a vital role in the national economy, yet its productivity still faces various challenges. One major obstacle is the suboptimal utilization of human resources (HR) in this sector. This study aims to analyze how optimizing the use of human resources can improve the efficiency of agricultural production in Rensing Village, West Sakra District, East Lombok Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that farming experience, length of education, age, and participation in extension have a significant role in the productivity and efficiency of farming businesses. Farmers who have long experience are better able to overcome technical problems in the field. However, the low level of education and lack of participation in counseling are obstacles in the adoption of new technologies. In addition, the dominance of elderly farmers is also a challenge in modern agricultural management. Therefore, improving the quality of farmer human resources through education, farmer regeneration, and extension intensification is needed to create a more efficient and sustainable agriculture.
