Abstract

This study is aimed at finding out (1)  the effect of STAD and Jigsaw cooperatives learning toward economics learning achievement; (2) the effect of high and low motivations toward economics learning achievement; (3) the interaction between motivation and teaching learning, STAD and Jigsaw types toward economics learning achievement.              This study was quantitative research by using experiment method. The population of the study was all students of tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Keruak Lombok Timur, in the academic year 2012/2013, the sample was determined by using cluster random sampling and got 2 classes. The teaching learning model in the first experimental class used STAD of XB consisting of 36 students while in the second experimental class used Jigsaw of XF consisting of 35 students.             The techniques of collecting data were test for economics achievement, questionnaires for students? motivation, and documentation. To analyze the hypothesis, the researcher used two-way analysis of variance with a 2x2 factorial design and the significant level was 5%.  The prerequisite test of normality and homogeneity were analyzed by using SPSS 17 software.               From the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) there is effect of STAD and Jigsaw cooperatives learning toward economics learning achievement; (2) there is effect of high and low motivations toward economics learning achievement; (3) there is no interaction between motivation and teaching learning types STAD and Jigsaw toward economics learning achievement.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Student Teams Achievement Divisions, Jigsaw, Motivation, Economics Achievement.

Abstract

Multicultural-based education is a tiered educational process that is able to become a binder and a bridge that accommodates differences in social, ethnic, gender and religious status in multicultural societies in order to create intelligent, wise and polite personalities in dealing with diversity problems. The multicultural education paradigm is very useful for building social harmony among the diversity of ethnicity, race, religion, culture and needs among us. Considering the complexity of plurality and multiculturalism in Indonesia in terms of socio-cultural and geographical conditions that are so diverse and broad, special strategies are needed to solve these problems through various fields; social, economic, cultural and educational. In this regard, multicultural-based education has actually been integrated in the 2013 curriculum. This is reflected in being integrated in the education curriculum and learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana hubungan karakteristik dosen dengan kepuasan mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar di program studi manajemen pendidikan islam STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok NTB. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriftif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan atau menjelaskan peristiwa yang berlangsung saat penelitian berlangsung tanpa memperhatikan sebelum dan sesudahnya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 233 mahasiswa dengan jumlah sampel penelitian yaitu 110 mahasiswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Analisis dilakukan terhadap 110 sampel yang telah terpilih dengan menggunkan ramdom proposif sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Secara parsial variabel karakteristik dosen bepengaruh nyata (signifikan) terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa STIT Palapa Nusantara program studi manajemen pendidikan islam, hal ini dibuktikan dalam pernyataan probabilitas tingkat kesalahan sebesar 0,000 berarti secara paarsial (sendiri) variabel karakteristik dosen signifikan terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa STIT Palapa Nusantara Program Studi Manajmen Pendidikan Islam sudah mendekati kesempurnaan karena kecil sekali dipengaruhi diluar model yang diajukan yaitu sebesar 9,9%. Koefisien adjusted R2 (Adj R Square) sebesar 0,866, ini merupakan korelasi dari R2 sehingga gambarannya mendekati populasi. Kemudian Berdasarkan uji t dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel Karakteristik Dosen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Mahasiswa STIT Palapa Nusantara Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, dengan demikian hipotesisnya diterima.

Abstract

Partisipasi pemuda dalam bidang sosial, pendidikan, dan kebudayaan menjadi aspek penting dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang harmonis dan berdaya saing tinggi. Namun, tantangan globalisasi dan modernisasi sering kali menyebabkan pergeseran nilai dan berkurangnya keterlibatan pemuda dalam pelestarian budaya serta kegiatan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi inovatif Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) dalam meningkatkan partisipasi pemuda di bidang sosial, pendidikan, dan kebudayaan di Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Partisipasi pemuda yang rendah dalam kegiatan sosial, pendidikan nonformal, dan pelestarian budaya menjadi latar belakang penting yang melandasi penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk mengeksplorasi strategi HMI dalam pemberdayaan pemuda. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap pengurus HMI, anggota aktif, tokoh masyarakat, serta pemuda lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa HMI menerapkan strategi inovatif melalui program pelatihan kepemimpinan, kampanye literasi, pelestarian budaya lokal, dan kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak. Strategi tersebut terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterlibatan pemuda meskipun dihadapkan pada beberapa tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan perubahan gaya hidup generasi muda.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia demands teachers to possess strong pedagogic competence characterized by student-centered instruction, adaptive planning, and integration of character values. This study aims to analyze the pedagogic competence of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, focusing on nine competence indicators: understanding student characteristics, lesson planning, learning implementation, assessment design, utilization of media and technology, classroom management, contextual learning integration, reflective teaching, and character and Pancasila Profile development. This research employed a mixed descriptive approach, combining rubric-based assessment, documentation analysis, classroom observation, and teacher self-reflection questionnaires. Three PAI teachers at RA Al Hikmah NW Batu Rimpang were evaluated by school leaders using a standardized rubric and further interviewed to explore challenges and pedagogical practices. The results show that PAI teachers demonstrate a high level of pedagogic competence with an overall score of 3.28. Teachers excel in lesson planning and character development, particularly in integrating Islamic values with the Pancasila Student Profile through contextual, ethical, and collaborative learning activities. However, the findings also reveal that teachers have not fully maximized reflective teaching and digital pedagogical competence due to insufficient training and limited use of interactive learning platforms. These limitations affect digital assessment practices and weaken data-driven instructional improvement. The study implies the need for structured mentoring in reflective teaching and professional development focused on digital pedagogy. This research recommends strengthened institutional support, technological resources, and longitudinal monitoring to optimize PAI teacher competence in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach with modeling on the mastery of accounting concepts in class XII MA MA NW Keruak. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research method that provides treatment to the experimental group, considering that the data in this study do not exist properly, it is necessary to carry out an experiment or treatment to bring up the data. The population in this study were all students of class XII MA NW Keruak with a total sample of 54 students consisting of 2 classes where the experimental class was class XIIa, totaling 29 students, class XIIa. As for the control class, there were 26 students in class XIIb. Data collection techniques using questionnaires/tests, observation and documentation. The results showed that the ability to understand accounting concepts using the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach was higher than mastering accounting concepts without using the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach with modeling as seen from the average score obtained by students. In this study, the results of the analysis showed that the experimental group achieved a higher average score than the control group. This shows that the use of the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach has a positive and significant effect on the mastery of accounting concepts in class XII MA NW Keruak with the rejection rate limit being below or smaller than the t count or 6.28> 2.08 which means shows that there is a significant influence on the mastery of accounting concepts by using a contextual teaching and learning approach.

Abstract

Purpose: This study explores how faith-based environmental stewardship practices in rural Muslim communities in Lombok, Indonesia, function as an embedded system of informal environmental education. Despite growing scholarly interest in community-based and indigenous approaches to environmental learning, the pedagogical dimensions of Islamic ecological practices in non-Western rural settings remain underexplored. Methodology: Drawing on an ethnographic approach, this study employed participant observation, in-depth semi-structured interviews, and documentary analysis across three rural villages in Lombok over an eight-month period. Thematic analysis guided the interpretation of data from thirty-two community members, including religious leaders, farmers, youth, and women. Results: Four interlocking themes emerged: (1) the mosque and Islamic religious gatherings as ecological classrooms; (2) ritualized environmental practices as lived curriculum; (3) intergenerational transmission of faith-based ecological knowledge through community elders and religious figures; and (4) Islamic faith as an intrinsic motivational framework for pro-environmental agency that transcends fear-based or economic incentive approaches. Conclusions: The findings suggest that faith-based environmental stewardship constitutes a sophisticated, culturally embedded pedagogical system capable of sustaining ecological values across generations. These practices challenge the dominance of formal, school-centred models in environmental education research and offer transferable lessons for place-based, community-anchored environmental education policy and practice globally.
