The development of digital technology has reshaped the way generation Z constructs and expresses their religious identity. This study aims to explore the psychological dynamics behind the process of negotiating faith that occurs in the digital context among generation Z. Using a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with a number of informants aged 18–23 years, this study highlights how social media, information algorithms, and online communities influence individuals' understanding, practice, and spiritual meaning. The results show that generation Z tends to experience ambivalence in their religiosity on the one hand, open to pluralism, but on the other hand also exposed to religious polarization. The process of negotiating faith occurs through a complex internal dialogue between traditional values and digital narratives that are often contradictory. These findings contribute to the understanding of the psychology of religiosity in the digital landscape and the importance of the role of digital spiritual literacy in forming a healthy and reflective religious identity.

This study aims to describe the ability to conclude exposition texts based on main ideas and factual elements in class VIII students of MTs Mamiyai Medan in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The population in this study were all class VIII students of MTs Mamiyai Medan with a total of 141 students. The research sample was 35 students. The method used was quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the ability of class VIII students of MTs Mamiyai Medan in concluding exposition texts is included in the good category with an average score of 73.4. The main idea aspect of 80% is in the good category, the factual element aspect of 68.5% of students is in the fairly good category, the linguistic aspect of 54.2% of students is in the fairly good category, the understanding aspect of 60% of students is in the fairly good category. Of all the aspects assessed, the ability to conclude exposition texts based on main ideas and factual elements in class VIII students of MTs Mamiyai Medan in the 2024/2025 academic year is good.

The decline in learning motivation among elementary school students is a significant concern in education. Many students feel bored and disengaged with conventional teaching methods. This study aims to examine the effect of gamification media on students' learning motivation. The research used a classroom action research method with two cycles, involving observation and motivation questionnaires. The results showed a significant increase in learning motivation scores after the application of gamification-based media such as interactive quizzes and point systems. The use of gamification effectively increased students' active participation, enthusiasm, and focus during learning activities. Gamified learning environments also promote a more dynamic and interactive atmosphere, encouraging curiosity and sustained attention, wcich are crucial in early education. These findings indicate that gamification media can serve as an effective learning strategy to enhance student motivation. Moreover, gamification tools are capable of accommodating various learning styles-visual, auditory, and kinesthetic-making the classroom experience more inclusive. The results are expected to be a reference for teachers in developing more engaging and enjoyable learning experiences in elementary classrooms. In this way, the integration of game-based elements has the potential to transform traditional instruction into a more student-centered and motivating process.

Advances in digital technology have transformed various aspects of life, including the world of education. One rapidly developing innovation is ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence-based application capable of providing interactive answers to user questions. This article aims to analyse how the use of ChatGPT can influence student learning interest in the context of educational technology use. This study examines three main variables: ChatGPT as a digital learning medium, students' learning interest, and the integration of technology in learning. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this article presents a literature review and previous research findings that support the importance of technology adaptation in enhancing student engagement.

This study aims to determine the improvement in mental health from the impact of bullying by using individual services through a client-centred approach on seventh-grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah 07 Medan in the 2025/2026 academic year. Issues observed at the school indicate that many students struggle with self-control, such as frequently arriving late to school, inability to self-regulate, and being victims of bullying—both physical and psychological—leading to students becoming withdrawn and lacking self-confidence. The Client-Centred approach is employed to assist students in determining how to cope with reality and develop their personalities holistically, enabling them to resolve issues independently. This study employs observation and interview methods with four seventh-grade students collaborating with guidance and counselling teachers. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and decision-making. The results of the study showed an improvement in students' mental health after receiving individual counselling services using the Client-Centred Approach. This study is expected to provide input to schools and guidance and counselling teachers in handling bullying cases and improving students' mental health in the school environment.

This research is entitled "Strategies of Resistance to the Domination of State Power in the Novel Laut Bercerita: A Subaltern Study," which aims to describe the forms of power domination and resistance strategies against the state represented in Leila S Chudori's novel Laut Bercerita. The domination of state power in this novel is depicted through various forms of physical oppression and violence, control and arbitrariness, and mental influence experienced by activist characters. Meanwhile, the resistance strategies carried out by the characters in the novel, such as Biru Laut and his friends, include opening the representation space for subaltern voices, open acts of resistance, and strengthening collective identity and political ideology. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with the type of library research. This refers to a research approach that produces descriptive data in the form of written data as a result of observing an object, namely a novel. The results show that the novel Laut Bercerita strongly represents the conflict between the dominating state power and the struggle of subaltern groups in seizing their existential and political space.

This research is entitled Representation of Oppression of the Main Character in the Novel Janji by Tere Liye: A Social Class Study. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of oppression and resistance of the main character in the novel Janji by Tere Liye with the study of Social Class. The problems raised regarding oppression include physical oppression, psychological oppression, and trade monopoly. Resistance includes self-sacrifice, fighting against social stigma, and struggling against inner conflicts associated with social class studies. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using a research approach that emphasizes the description of words or sentences to describe the phenomenon under study. This type of research is included in Library Research. Library research is a research method that uses literature sources, namely novels. The results showed that in the novel Janji by Tere Liye reflects social reality in the form of representation of oppression carried out by the upper class to the lower class and the resistance carried out by the lower class as a form of protection from oppression.

This study aims to examine the construction of gender and forms of resistance by female characters in the novel Terusir by Hamka using a feminist approach. The research addresses how gender construction is portrayed and how female characters resist gender injustice within a patriarchal cultural context. The method used is qualitative with a library research design. The primary data source is the novel Terusir, while secondary data includes feminist theories, particularly Kate Millett‟s theory, along with relevant literature. Data collection was carried out through literature study by reading, noting, classifying, and analyzing key excerpts. The results show that the character Mariah experiences various forms of gender construction that place her in a subordinate position, such as submission to male authority and social stigma. However, Mariah is portrayed as a figure capable of resistance through perseverance, independence, and rejection of patriarchal norms. The novel serves as a form of social criticism against gender inequality institutionalized within patriarchal culture.

This study aims to analyze the struggle of female characters in facing patriarchal domination in the novel Suluh Rindu by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The problem raised in this study is how patriarchal domination affects the lives of female characters, especially Syifa, and the form of struggle carried out to fight against existing gender inequality. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research design. Data were collected through reading and note-taking techniques on the text of the novel Suluh Rindu, which were then analyzed using feminist theory, especially the perspective of Simone de Beauvoir. The results of the study show that Syifa experiences pressure from family and society that requires women to fulfill traditional roles, such as getting married and becoming a mother. However, Syifa chooses to reject the forced matchmaking and focuses on education, and maintains her life principles. This study shows that despite being trapped in a patriarchal system, the female characters in Suluh Rindu struggle to become active subjects who are free to determine their life path. These findings contribute to the study of Indonesian literary feminism and broaden the understanding of women's struggles in a patriarchal society.

This study aims to analyze the character development of the main character in the novel Seporsi Mie Ayam Sebelum Mati by Brian Khrisna. The primary focus of this research is on the psychological journey of the character Ale, who experiences depression and loss of hope throughout the narrative. The method employed is a qualitative approach with library research, relying on text analysis and relevant literary theories to provide a comprehensive understanding of the character's evolution. The findings reveal that Ale undergoes significant transformation from emotional alienation and despair to self-acceptance and positive social interaction. This process reflects the importance of social support and self-awareness in effectively addressing mental health issues. Additionally, this study uncovers how Ale's traumatic experiences and social pressures shape his personality and influence his decisions. Thus, the novel not only depicts an individual's struggle against depression but also conveys a profound moral message about the importance of self-acceptance and social interaction in facing life's challenges. This research is expected to make a meaningful contribution to the understanding of mental health issues within the context of contemporary Indonesian literature.
