Abstract

Lower Back Pain (LBP) e.c Herniated Nucleus Pulposus (HNP) is pain in the lower back that is localized or radicular because the nucleus pulposus is compressed by work factors and protrudes from the intervertebral disc, causing pain in the spine. In the long term, this causes immobilization, increases pain, decreases muscle strength, decreases LGS, and decreases functional performance. physiotherapy management in cases of LBP e.c HNP using Transcutaneal Electrical Stimulation (TENS) and Lumbar Stabilization. The method used a case study conducted at the Husada Asih YPAC Malang Clinic on 14-24. December 2022 with 4 meetings. The TENS dose used is symmetrical waves, frequency 20 Hz, pulse 330 ms and duration 20 minutes, with the aim of reducing pain. Lumbar stabilization exercise aims to increase joint range of motion, increase muscle strength, and improve functional performance. The conclusion of this case study is that physical therapy management of LBP e.c HNP cases using TENS techniques and lumbar stabilization reduces pain, increases joint range of motion, but does not increase muscle strength. and increases functional activity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide nursing care for children with pneumonia based on Florence Nightiangel's theory. This research method is a case study with a nursing care approach based on Florence Nightiangel's theory. Data collection was done by interview, observation, physical examination and documentation study. The instrument used is an assessment format based on Florence Nightiangel nursing theory. The results of the assessment were found to be shortness of breath, coughing and difficult sputum removal, mild chest wall retraction on the subcosta, pulmonary sound sounded rochi, tachypnea breathing pattern, respiratory frequency 38x/min, there were infiltrates in both lung fields, environmental conditions of the house opposite the farm, house windows and ventilation are rarely opened so it is difficult to get fresh air and lighting from sunlight. There are two nursing problems, namely ineffective airway clearance, and ineffective family health management. The interventions carried out are based on SLKI and SIKI. After three days of nursing care, it was concluded that the top two nursing problems were partially solved. It is expected that nurses are able to provide and improve the quality of service in providing nursing care based on the Florence Nightiangel approach.

Abstract

Stunting is the main problem faced by the Indonesian government as well as being the main focus in improving the nutrition of the nation's children. The problem of stunted children (stunting) is a result of the lack of nutritional intake status of mothers and children. The nutritional status and health of the mother during pre-pregnancy, during pregnancy, and during breastfeeding since the first 1000 days of life (HPK) are very critical period. Thus, chronic malnutrition in 1000 HPK will have an impact on physical growth disorders, one of which is stunting. The problem of stunting is inseparable from community nutrition problems that are associated with an increased risk of death, illness, and both motor and mental problems, so that it has an impact on uncompetitive work quality which results in low levels of income and community welfare. Therefore, the Indonesian government is committed to the prevention and reduction of stunting prevalence. Cikahuripan Village, to be precise in Pameungpeuk Hamlet, is one of the hamlets that has stunting cases in children. Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) as a health service in the hamlet has an important role in reducing the prevalence of stunting. By using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) technique and the qualitative method of direct interviews, it was found that optimizing the role of cadres is important for the modality of community empowerment, especially in the health and nutrition sector.
