Abstract

The phenomenon of public health problems, especially pulmonary TB in the era of globalization, is not underestimated. Pulmonary Tuberculosis is a chronic bacterial infection disease that is persistent and chronic so that clinical symptoms will only appear if it is severe and requires treatment for a long time. The purpose of this professional scientific paper is to analyze the semi-Fowler's position intervention to reduce shortness of breath in pulmonary TB patients at Harapan Bunda Hospital. The method in this final scientific paper is a case study with a quasi-experimental method. From the results of case analysis in patients, it was found that there was an effect of semi-Fowler's position on decreasing shortness of breath in pulmonary TB patients. The conclusion of this nursing care is that the semi-Fowler's position is very effective because it can reduce the shortness of breath experienced by the client and can make the client feel comfortable. So giving a semi-Fowler's position in pulmonary TB patients can overcome shortness of breath because by using gravity to help expand the lungs and reduce pressure from the abdominal visceral to the diaphragm it can be lifted and the lungs can develop optimally.

Abstract

Street food is currently the prima donna among consumers due to its low price, accessibility, and wide variety of choices. Its distribution covers various places but is most often found in educational facilities, especially elementary schools. Various problems arise from this type of culinary contamination related to hygiene problems, especially Escherichia coli bacteria contamination. The purpose of this study was to identify E. coli contamination in snacks from street vendors (PKL) at the Baqa Village Elementary School, Samarinda City. This research uses a descriptive study design. The sample in this study consisted of 10 food and beverage samples taken from seven street vendors who were selected using a purposive sampling method and spread across all elementary schools in Baqa Village, Samarinda City. From the results of examining E. coli using the most probable number (MPN) method, it was found that the fried pentola sample from SDN 002 Samarinda Seberang exceeded the threshold value of 3.6 APM/gr, while the durian ice sample from SDN 007 Samarinda Seberang also exceeded the threshold value of 3.6 APM/ml. So it is necessary to increase comprehensive sanitation and hygiene practices for these street vendors.

Abstract

The safe work safety or safety culture model in oil palm plantations is challenging because the workforce, especially field workers, have a lower level of education. This is especially because field workers often come into contact with chemicals, both pesticides and fertilizers, as well as sharp work tools such as machetes, hoes and dodos. Previous research has shown that the risk of work accidents due to OSH is not implemented. However, to fully understand this issue requires a thorough literary awareness. In this study, the application of OSH in palm oil mills will be thoroughly reviewed in the literature. In this study, data and findings from previous studies will be collected, examined and synthesized. Abstract

Background: Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) is a continuous monitoring activity by the laboratory to reduce or prevent errors in examination results using control materials. Homogeneity of the control material is very important because homogeneity shows that the control material is the same. Objective: To find out whether there is a difference in homogeneity between the lyophilized control material and the in-house control material for glucose examination. Research method: The type of research used was a quasi experiment with a simple random sampling technique at the SMC Clinical Laboratory, Telogorejo Hospital, Semarang. Data analysis uses the homogeneity calculation formula. Results: Based on the results of homogeneity calculations, it is known that the Fcount for the lyophilized control material is 0.9538 while the in-house control material is 2.1883, where both are <Ftable (3.02) which means homogeneous. Conclusion: There is no difference in homogeneity between lyophilized control material and in-house control material for glucose examination.

Abstract

The use of blockchain applications in the health sector, in patient data security, promises significant progress in the management and protection of medical information. Database decentralization, which is at the heart of blockchain technology, presents itself as an innovative solution in reducing the risk of cyber attacks and system failures simultaneously, by dividing information into scattered networks. It increases patient information resilience to data loss and identity theft. Another advantage of blockchain is greater transparency and auditability. Any transactions or changes recorded cannot be changed again, ensuring consistent data integrity. This is crucial in a healthcare environment, where errors in patient information can have serious implications for patient care and health outcomes. In addition, the blockchain system allows the use of strong encryption and layered access controls, making patient data much safer from unauthorized access. However, despite the many advantages it offers, there are challenges to overcome in order for this technology to be implemented effectively. Challenges such as system scalability, complex regulatory compliance, and difficulty integrating with existing health information technology systems are major obstacles to blockchain implementation. Concerns about scalability emphasize increased processing time and operating costs as transaction volumes grow. Regulatory compliance often requires extra care and adaptation to strict local regulations relating to personal data and privacy.

Abstract

Medicines are important products in maintaining human health. The need for medicines will continue to increase along with population growth and lifestyle changes. Therefore, pharmacies need to forecast drug sales to ensure adequate drug availability and avoid excess or shortage of stock. This research aims to apply the Exponential Smoothing method in predicting drug sales in pharmacies using RStudio drug sales software which uses historical data on drug sales during a certain period. The results of this research indicate that the Triple Exponential Smoothing method is the best method to use because it has results with an SSE value of 3,508.75, when compared with the Single Exponential Smoothing and Double Exponential Smoothing methods with a value of 10,306.39
