Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and find out about: 1) instilling religious character education values in Baitul Izza mosque teenagers, 2) strategies for instilling religious character education values in Baitul Izza mosque teenagers, 3) methods of instilling religious character education values in Baitul mosque teenagers Izza. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research used is phenomenology. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data display/data presentation and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, the technique for checking the validity of the researcher's data uses: triangulation and member check. The results of this research show that: 1) instilling religious character education values in Baitul Izza mosque teenagers are a) honest values, b) trustworthy values, c) patient values, d) sincere values, e) polite values, f) responsible values answer, g) tolerance value. 2) strategy for instilling religious character education values in Baitul Izza mosque teenagers is a) strategy for choosing the right time, b) strategy for speaking according to what is being done, c) strategy for taming the heart, d) strategy for preparing facilities and infrastructure. 3) the method of instilling religious character education values in Baitul Izza mosque teenagers is a) the personal approach method, b) the lecture method, c) the example method, d) the habituation method, e) the Advice method.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of prosocial behavior on the psychological well-being of students. The research was conducted on 60 active students at University X. The measuring tool used in this research used a prosocial behavior scale which refers to aspects of prosocial behavior and psychological well-being. Data analysis uses simple linear regression analysis. Regression coefficients, significance values will be evaluated to understand the extent to which prosocial behavior variables influence psychological well-being variables. The research analysis results show a p-value of >.001, which is smaller than the alpha value of 0,05, indicating a significant influence of prosocial behavior on psychological well-being. The R Square result indicates that the prosocial behavior variable influences the psychological well-being variable by 20,7%. And there is no significant difference between males and females in levels of prosocial behavior and psychological well-being.

Abstract

This research aims to produce ecobrick-based letter recognition media for grade 1 in elementary school that is valid, practical and effective. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) research. The development of this learning media was designed using the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The test subjects used in this research were 14 grade 1 students at SD Negeri 8 Sorong City. The results of this research show that: 1) Based on validity test data from material expert validators, language experts and design experts, the ecobrick- based letter recognition media for grade 1 elementary school shows a valid category so it is suitable for use. 2) Based on practicality test data from the results of the student response questionnaire, this ecobrick-based letter recognition media obtained an average score of 79 so it can be categorized as practical. 3) Based on the effectiveness test data from the results between the pre-test and post-test using the n-gain test, this ecobrick-based letter recognition media is very effective to use, this can be seen from the average score obtained being 0.74 so it can be categorized as high. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that ecobrick-based letter recognition media is valid and suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Discussion of the issue of moral education is the same as discussion of the aims of education, because several expert opinions say that the aim of education is moral education. Some experts say that morals do not need to be formed, because morals are instincts that humans are born with. Morals are the result of education, training, coaching and hard and serious struggle. As in the opinion of Ibn Miskawaih, Ibn Sina, and Imam al-Ghazali. In reality, in society, moral education efforts to shape children's character through various educational institutions with various methods continue to be developed so that moral education can adapt to children's talents, interests and development and is relevant to current technological developments.

Abstract

Social studies learning is a science that must be taught to students at the elementary school level. This science is considered very important to learn so that they have a more mature readiness when they go into the field and have a direct role in society. To achieve good results, of course, it needs to be supported by a good learning process as well. To realise this, it is not easy, of course, requires a different learning model, in accordance with the objectives to be achieved. To choose a model of social studies learning in SD / MI must pay attention to a variety of things, among others, related to the emphasis on direct social values, and the learning model applied must be interesting, creative, innovative and in accordance with the situation and conditions that exist at the time of the learning process. A learning model is a plan or a pattern used as a guide in planning classroom learning or learning in tutorials. The learning model refers to the learning approach that will be used, including teaching objectives, stages in learning activities, learning environment, and classroom management. The learning model describes the steps or procedures that need to be taken to create effective, efficient and interesting learning activities. Learning models act as conceptual, management, communication tools, to analyse, design and create a good learning process. In general, learning models are unique and different in the steps and procedures used. However, learning models have the same principles in an effort to design a quality learning programme. Learning model refers to the learning approach that will be used, including teaching objectives, stages of learning activities, learning environment, and classroom management. This means that with these learning models teachers can help students to get or acquire information, ideas, skills, ways of thinking, and expressing their own ideas. In addition, they also teach them how to learn. Finally, each model requires a different management system and learning environment. Each approach assigns different roles to students, to the physical space, and to the social system of the classroom. One of the models used in social studies learning is the social learning model, because the social learning model is one of the models that emphasises relationships with the community or other people.

Abstract

This research was conducted because there was a problem that some of the class V students at Mensemat State Elementary School 02 tended to be inactive, learning was monotonous so that students felt disinterested, bored and sleepy when studying. Students do not like mathematics lessons, because they think that learning mathematics is difficult and scary for students, giving rise to a lazy attitude towards learning. By implementing this cardboard media, students are encouraged to be actively involved and increase understanding and make students enthusiastic in receiving learning material. The aim of this research is to determine the planning, implementation and implications of the fifth grade teacher in using cardboard media. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type of research. The results of the research are planning, preparing a learning implementation plan (RPP), preparing teaching aids or media, paying attention to students' strengths and weaknesses. Implementation, conveying learning objectives, connecting the material that has been studied with the material that will be delivered, utilizing media and learning resources, conveying the steps and tasks that must be completed, asking several questions, drawing conclusions and giving a post-test. And the implications of media can attract students' attention, learning is more interactive, time is more efficient, the learning process can take place anytime and anywhere, and students' positive attitudes towards learning material and the learning process can be improved.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of Aqidah Akhlaq in Grade IV of MI Miftahul Ulum. This research uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II, where each cycle is a series of activities consisting of four stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage and the reflection stage. The data collection techniques used were written tests, interviews, observations and documentation. The subjects of this study were 30 fourth-grade students, consisting of 16 boys and 14 girls. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the process of learning Aqidah Akhlaq by applying the crossword puzzle strategy can help students understand the material easily, making learning more enjoyable and involving students to be more active in the learning process. The students' learning outcomes have improved greatly in each cycle, as seen from the average score for each cycle, which has increased. This can be seen from the comparison of student learning outcomes before the implementation of the crossword puzzle strategy, there are still many students who have not reached the minimum learning standards, as seen from the pre-cycle average score of 58.33. Then after the implementation of the crossword puzzle strategy, student learning outcomes increased, as seen from cycle I with an average of 85.33. Meanwhile, cycle II also increased from the results of cycle I, which was an average of 92.33. So, the results of this study can be concluded that the crossword puzzle strategy can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at Miftahul Ulum Islamic Elementary School in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the role of fiqh teachers in shaping students’ moral character within the context of Islamic education. Fiqh teachers do not merely function as transmitters of Islamic legal knowledge, but also serve as mentors, role models, motivators, and evaluators in the process of internalizing moral values. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method, drawing on books, academic journals, and other relevant sources. The findings indicate that the role of fiqh teachers is highly significant in shaping students’ character, particularly through exemplary behavior (uswah hasanah), habituation of good conduct, provision of advice, and the integration of moral values into the learning process. Furthermore, the success of moral development is influenced by supporting factors such as a religious school environment, parental involvement, and a well-structured curriculum. On the other hand, inhibiting factors include negative influences from social media and a lack of supervision within the family environment. In conclusion, fiqh teachers play a strategic role in developing a generation that is not only intellectually competent but also possesses noble character. Therefore, synergy among teachers, schools, and parents is essential in creating a conducive educational environment for character building.

Abstract

This study examines the use of digital media innovation in improving fiqh learning. Using a qualitative literature review approach, the findings show that digital media such as interactive videos and e-learning platforms enhance students’ understanding and motivation. However, challenges such as limited digital literacy and technology misuse need to be addressed through proper integration with Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the worship practice method in improving students’ learning outcomes in Fiqh learning at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) level. Fiqh learning, which is practical in nature, requires an approach that emphasizes not only cognitive aspects but also psychomotor and affective aspects. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design in the form of a one group pre-test and post-test. The research subjects were eighth-grade students at one MTs. Data were collected through tests, observation, and documentation. The results indicated a significant improvement between pre-test and post-test scores. The N-gain calculation showed a moderate to high improvement category. In addition, students demonstrated increased practical skills, activeness, and self-confidence in performing worship practices. These findings indicate that the worship practice method is effective in improving students’ understanding and practical skills in Fiqh learning.
