Abstract

Islamic family law is a critical branch of Islamic jurisprudence that closely relates to the social life of Muslim communities. It encompasses matters such as marriage, divorce, spousal rights and obligations, guardianship, inheritance, and child custody. As social and cultural dynamics evolve, there is an urgent need for a methodological response to ensure that Islamic family law remains relevant and beneficial. This article explores the dynamics of Islamic family law between textual norms and social contexts. Using a normative-legal and sociological approach, this study examines the application of Islamic family law in Indonesia within the framework of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, highlighting contemporary issues such as child marriage, polygamy, unilateral divorce, and women's rights. The findings suggest that strengthening the role of religious court judges, enhancing public education, and reinterpreting Islamic law through a gender-justice lens are key to reforming Islamic family law in an era of change.

Abstract

Character education is at the heart of the Islamic education system, emphasizing not only academic intelligence but also the development of the moral and ethical character of students (santri). Islamic education aims to cultivate a generation that embodies knowledge and noble character. Pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) play a strategic role in enlightening and empowering communities by providing education in religious knowledge alongside essential life skills. These institutions can inspire environmental education, teaching students to love and care for their surroundings. This research assesses the impact of a waste laboratory program in reinforcing the values of Islamic education at Pondok Pesantren Kebon Jambu, focusing on various aspects such as behavioral changes among students, increased awareness of waste management, and contributions to the surrounding environment. A qualitative approach is employed to explore individual experiences and perspectives within the social and cultural context of the pesantren. Through a case study methodology, at Pondok Pesantren Kebon Jambu, this program has successfully educated students about the importance of recycling and waste reduction, while also creating economic benefits through composting organic waste. With commitment and enthusiasm, we can achieve education that prioritizes not only knowledge but also strong character and concern for the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) on student character at IRA Medan Junior High School. The method used was quantitative descriptive correlation, with a sample of 35 students selected through purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire that measured the variables of Islamic Religious Education (X) and student character (Y). Before use, the research instruments were tested for validity and reliability, where the results showed that all items were valid and had a high level of reliability (Cronbach's Alpha > 0.7). Data analysis was conducted using normality test, R Square test, and T test to determine the significant relationship between the two variables. The results showed that PAI had a positive and significant influence on students' character, especially in the aspects of morality, discipline, responsibility, and social care. Therefore, the optimisation of Islamic Religious Education in the learning process, as well as support from schools, families, and communities, is needed to form a generation with noble character and high integrity

Abstract

Industrial Revolution 4.0 has brought fundamental changes in human resource management (HRM) in international companies. This research aims to analyze the impact of digital technology on HRM practices, identify the main challenges in implementing digital transformation, and formulate effective adaptation strategies. By using systematic literature review and content analysis methods, this research integrates various sources of scientific literature and case studies from global companies such as Microsoft, Unilever, DBS Bank, and Siemens. The research results show that the adoption of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics, and Cloud Computing improves operational efficiency, recruitment quality, and employee retention. However, challenges such as the digital competency gap, high turnover, and the need for more dynamic performance evaluation remain critical issues. Effective strategies include investing in reskilling and upskilling, implementing work flexibility, and strengthening employer branding. This study emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach that combines technology, strategy and the human touch to face change in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines how the concept of Tarbiyah education from the perspective of M. Yusuf Qardhawi affects today's world. Tarbiyah education, which emphasizes character building and moral principles, has great potential to be applied in modern education that is faced with many challenges, such as technological advancement and globalization. This research investigates Qardhawi's thoughts on holistic and integrative education. It also investigates how these principles can be applied in today's school curriculum. The research shows that Qardhawi's concept of education is not only relevant, but also essential for forming an intelligent and morally strong generation. In addition, the research found challenges and opportunities in the implementation of Tarbiyah education, and also provided suggestions on how Islamic values can be incorporated into contemporary education. Consequently, this study is expected to contribute to the development of an educational system that is more in line with the demands of the times and strong moral principles.

Abstract

As Ibn Sina is an important figure in the history of Islamic thought and science, his philosophy is highly relevant to the issues facing the 21st century to build a sustainable civilization. Ibn Sina's works, especially in the fields of epistemology, ethics, and science, provide perspectives that can be applied to address contemporary issues such as the health crisis, climate change, and social injustice. Ibn Sina's philosophy focuses on the concepts of balance and harmony, which can help us understand how important integration between technological advancement and environmental preservation is. In addition, the holistic approach he offers to understanding nature and humans can help in making policies that are more just and sustainable. Ibn Sina's philosophy of the pursuit of knowledge and the development of human potential is crucial to education as it helps the next generation become more sensitive to the world's problems and take responsibility for their future. Therefore, applying the principles of Ibn Sina's philosophy can help build a civilization in the 21st century that is stable, balanced and just. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach that combines contextual, philosophical, and historical reviews. Data were collected from secondary literature related to sustainable development as well as Ibn Sina's most important works, such as Kitab Al-Shifa and Canon of Medicine. This study shows that Ibn Sina's ideas on epistemology, environmental ethics, and holistic education are useful for solving the world's current problems. In Ibn Sina's philosophy, the concept of balance between humans, nature and God can be used as a philosophical foundation to build harmony between material and spiritual progress. This study found that Ibn Sina's philosophy is instrumental in building a more humane, ethical and inclusive sustainable development paradigm. The conclusion is that these findings can serve as a reference for policy officials and academics to incorporate ethical values and spirituality into global development strategies.

Abstract

This paper intends to analyze the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education and Ethics subjects for grade 5 elementary school students. This curriculum is designed to provide a learning space that focuses on developing students' character and competencies holistically. This research uses the literature review method, including analysis of various literature, curriculum documents, and relevant studies related to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in these subjects. The results of the analysis show that Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes project-based learning, strengthening the values of Pancasila students, and thematic and contextual learning approaches. However, its implementation faces several challenges, such as teacher readiness, availability of supporting facilities, and adaptation of teaching materials. Therefore, this study recommends increased efforts by educators and policymakers to ensure a more inclusive and adaptive implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in accordance with educational goals

Abstract

Reading interest is a person's passion or interest in being able to interpret media words with the aim of obtaining the information needed. This research is motivated by the utilization of the reading corner in instilling students' interest in reading in class 4 SDK Nuabosi. The purpose of this study is an effort to maintain a culture of literacy by utilizing the reading corner in instilling interest in reading among 4th grade students of SDK Nuabosi. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. Based on The results showed that the utilization of the reading corner plays an important role in fostering interest in reading. The utilization of the reading corner in fostering students' interest in reading at SDK Nuabosi is carried out in several ways, namely the reading corner is designed as good as possible, the books are neatly arranged, there are story books or textbooks

Abstract

The process of fostering religious values in shaping children's personalities can start from the time the child is born until he becomes an adult. When children are born they are introduced to the kalimah thoyyibah, then after they grow and develop into children, the first thing that must be instilled is religious values related to faith, so that children believe in the existence of Allah and can know Allah with certainty (ma' rifatullah). At the same time, children are also guided about moral values, such as how to speak well, dress well, socialize well, and so on. Good qualities are also instilled in children, such as the values of honesty, justice, simple living, patience and so on. This article uses a library research method. The purpose of this article is to describe the role of Islamic religious education in forming the character of early childhood. The research results show that Islamic religious education plays a role as the main foundation in forming the personality of early childhood. With the right approach, religious values can guide children to become individuals who are moral, have strong character, and are able to live life with good principles.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the differential reinforcement of alternative behavior method in reducing aggressive behavior in first-grade students with intellectual disabilities at SLB Bina Insani Purwakarta. This research employs a quantitative approach using the Single Subject Research (SSR) experimental method with an A – B – A design, consisting of a baseline phase 1 (A1) of 8 sessions, an intervention phase (B) of 16 sessions, and a baseline phase 2 (A2) of 8 sessions, each session lasting 30 minutes. The subject of this research is one student with intellectual disabilities in first grade at SLB Bina Insani Purwakarta. The targeted behavior in this study is to reduce aggressive hitting behavior in the subject. Data collection was conducted through observation and documentation methods. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive statistics presented in tables and graphs. Based on the results of the study, the use of the differential reinforcement of alternative behavior method can reduce aggressive hitting behavior in children with intellectual disabilities. The rate obtained during the baseline phase 1 (A1) was 0.23 times/minute, during the intervention phase (B) it was 0.10 times/minute, and during the baseline phase 2 (A2) it was 0.06 times/minute. Based on this data, it can be concluded that the use of the differential reinforcement of alternative behavior method can reduce aggressive behavior in children with intellectual disabilities at SLB Bina Insani Purwakarta.
