Abstract

Education plays an important role in human life and continues to experience rapid changes. In elementary schools, learning often emphasizes memorization rather than deep understanding, so that students have difficulty applying knowledge in everyday life. Social Sciences (IPS) as a relevant subject requires a real-life context to improve learning effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the use of the environment as a source of learning IPS for elementary school students. The method used is Literature Review, with data collection from various sources such as journals and articles from 2020 to 2025. The results of the study show that utilizing the surrounding environment can increase student interaction and make learning more concrete, although many teachers have not linked IPS to the environment. This study is expected to provide new insights for educators in optimizing the IPS learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

Reading ability is one of the abilities that must be developed at an early age. Language skills enable humans to be able to communicate with each other, whether it is communicating thoughts, feelings or attitudes. The aim of this research is to describe the influence of letter card media on the beginning reading ability of class I at SD Negeri 42 Sorong City for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is quantitative research using experimental methods. The research design used in this research is one group pretest posttest design. This research will be carried out in Class I classes at SD Negeri 42 Sorong City. This research will be carried out on March 4-8 2024. The population of this research is all Class I students of SD Negeri 42 Sorong City, totaling 20 students. The sample used in this research was class I students with a sample size of 20 students. Based on the problem formulation proposed in this thesis and the research data and analysis, it can be concluded that the initial reading ability of the posttest using letter card media in class I is higher than the pretest without using letter card media. Based on the results of calculations using SPSS 21, the pretest results had a mean of 70, while the posttest results had a mean of 78.16 and ???????????????????????? = 1.724 while ????ℎ ???????????????????? = 4.375. So that ????ℎ???????????????????? >???????????????????????? and the significance value is 0.00 < 0.05. So H0 is rejected so it can be concluded that there is an influence of letter card media on the beginning reading ability of Class I of SD Negeri 42 Sorong City for the 2023/2024 academic year

Abstract

Higher education is not only a means of knowledge transformation but also a dynamizer of society. Islamic religious universities spread from Banda Aceh to Jayapura as well as a means of community development. Various forms of programs carried out in order to show a more technical form of Islamic moderation. Scientific development includes the opening of varied majors that give students the flexibility to learn science technically. This paper shows that Islamic religious universities also develop programs that do not focus on universities. However, at the same time, there are challenges that need to be overcome so that the development of Islamic religious higher education is not only in public institutions but also in the private sector.

Abstract

Bullying is a problem that is widespread in the surrounding environment, both in schools and in the community. In the educational context, communication ethics has an important role in preventing bullying. Communication ethics can help and regulate how to communicate between individuals. Bullying is something we are no stranger to hearing because we often encounter it either in person or on social media. This is done for personal satisfaction and lack of sympathy for others. In this research, the aim was to reduce the occurrence of bullying in the school environment which was carried out in elementary schools, with the research subjects being grade 5 students at Al-Azhar 13 Rawamangun Islamic Elementary School. This research uses interactive infographic learning media which shows that the use of interactive infographics based on Islamic communication ethics can reduce bullying and increase students' understanding of good communication ethics. It is hoped that this research can provide awareness and prevent bullying

Abstract

Evaluation research is a research method used to assess the effectiveness, efficiency and impact of a particular programme, policy or intervention. Quantitative research in evaluation research focuses on the collection and analysis of numerical data to provide objective results on programme success. The research process includes setting evaluation objectives, developing hypotheses, research design, collecting data, analysing statistics and interpreting results. Commonly used data collection methods include surveys, tests, structured observations and secondary data. Abstract

Christian education in the family is the primary foundation for the formation of a child's faith and character. The family serves as the first environment where children learn the values ​​of the Christian faith through relationships, role models, and daily practices. However, the realities of modern life, such as busy parents, the influence of digital technology, and the weakening of role models, present serious challenges to faith education at home. This study aims to examine the role of the Christian family as a space for the formation of Christ-like character based on the theological foundations of the Bible. The study used a qualitative approach with a literature review method through analysis of the Bible, and relevant scientific articles. The results indicate that faith education in the family, carried out consciously, consistently, and relationally through parental example, plays a significant role in shaping children's character, reflecting love, obedience, humility, and self-control. Therefore, strengthening the role of parents and synergy between the family, the church, and Christian education are necessary to support the ongoing development of children's faith and character

Abstract

Christian religious education in the family is very important in building children's faith, with parents as the primary educators of their children. In implementing PAK, besides church and school, the home becomes the main place for children to get to know Christ. In addition to teaching, the habits built in the family can make children's faith grow, such as worshiping together. Families who remain connected to God are empowered to live joyfully and without fear because they believe that God is Immanuel with them. Parental role modeling is very important in Christian education because children easily imitate what they see rather than what they hear. Parents must not be negligent in teaching and educating their children. Parents must continue to learn and strive to instill Christ-like character in their children through consistent daily activities at home. In this way, children's faith will grow and they will be able to live their lives according to God's Word, responding to and dealing with every dynamic of life by holding fast to God's Word. Character traits such as love, patience, honesty, diligence, and fear of God are what must be taught to children so that in their social relationships, wherever children are and interact, they reflect the character of Christ, and this becomes a sign that the parenting style and education of the parents determine the attitude of the child

Abstract

This study examines the authority of religious registers in the speech of Kyai and Santri in the Assalafiy Al-Ikhlas Islamic boarding school environment as a sociolinguistic phenomenon that reflects hierarchical social relations. The research focuses on how registers are used in religious interactions, the forms of registers that emerge, the types of registers used, and the functions of language contained in the speech of Kyai and the responses of Santri. This study aims to explain the meaning of registers, identify forms of religious registers, classify types of registers into closed registers and open registers, and analyse the functions of registers in the context of pesantren communication. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of listening and recording the Kyai's speech obtained through interviews with Santri. The data were analysed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and meaning extraction. The results of the study show that religious registers in the Kyai's speech cover the areas of sharia, manners, morals, religious knowledge, and mental development. The registers used are dominated by open registers and have the main functions of conveying religious teachings, character building, reinforcing authority, and maintaining social relations between the Kyai and the Santri

Abstract

Christian Religious Education (CHE) in the family context plays a crucial role as the foundation for the formation of children's faith, character, and spirituality. The family is the first space where Christian values ​​are introduced and lived out. However, the rapid advancement of digital technology presents new challenges for parents in carrying out their responsibilities as faith educators. This article aims to critically examine the role of parents in family Christian Religious Education in the digital era, while also identifying various challenges and relevant strategies for fostering children's faith. This research uses a qualitative approach through a literature review method, analyzing theological literature, Christian education, and scientific journal articles related to family CHE and the development of digital technology. The results of the study indicate that parents play a strategic role as role models of faith, spiritual guides, and wise supervisors of children's use of digital technology. Challenges faced include the influence of digital content that is inconsistent with Christian values, the decline in the quality of family relationships and interactions, and limited spiritual digital literacy among parents. Therefore, efforts are needed to strengthen contextual Christian religious education in families through the responsible use of technology, fostering family worship practices, and fostering sustainable communication of faith in daily life

Abstract

Violence against children is a serious problem with long-term impacts on children's mental, emotional, and social health. Children who are victims of violence are at risk of experiencing psychological trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and obstacles to development and social functioning. This article aims to examine and analyze mental health recovery strategies for children who are victims of violence through a trauma-based approach and comprehensive environmental support. The method used is a literature review by examining various research results and scientific studies relevant to the mental health recovery of children who are victims of violence. The results of the study indicate that effective recovery requires a holistic approach that includes psychological interventions, family support, social support, and cross-sector collaboration such as child protection agencies, health workers, and law enforcement officials. The trauma healing approach has been proven to reduce psychological distress, increase feelings of security, and help children recover their self-confidence and social functioning. Furthermore, a supportive, safe, and child-friendly environment is an important factor in accelerating the recovery process. The conclusion of this study confirms that mental health recovery for children who are victims of violence cannot be carried out partially, but must be sustainable, integrated, and oriented towards the child's best interests to prevent the long-term impact of trauma and break the cycle of violence
