Abstract

Learning methods are a set of methods, efforts, and strategies used by educators so that students can achieve learning goals or master certain competencies formulated in the syllabus. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the right learning method or model for students because the learning method functions as a strategy to achieve the goals of learning activities. It is hoped that teachers can coordinate with what learning methods and models are effective and efficient with Indonesian learning in elementary school. Therefore, the author has tried to research related information, using library or literature research methods through various sources. The goal is for educators to master and understand various kinds of learning methods and models that can be carried out or applied. And from the results of this library research method, it has contributed to finding various learning methods and models that can be applied to Indonesian learning in elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of digital literacy in mathematics learning at SMP Kristen Sendang. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and documentation. The subjects of this study were 1 mathematics teacher and 40 students in grades VII, VIII, and IX. The results of the study indicate that digital literacy has been implemented through the use of technological devices, digital-based learning media, and online learning resources. Teachers play a role in guiding students to utilize technology effectively in understanding mathematical concepts, while students demonstrate the ability to access, analyze, and utilize digital information for learning. However, several challenges such as limited access to technology and variations in students' levels of digital understanding are obstacles that need to be considered. This study concludes that the implementation of digital literacy in mathematics learning has great potential to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process, but requires support from infrastructure and increased digital skills for teachers and students.

Abstract

Naturalistic intelligence plays a crucial role in fostering students’ environmental awareness. However, classroom-based learning often emphasizes theory without providing direct experiences that enhance conceptual understanding. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to examine how outdoor learning is implemented to develop the naturalistic intelligence of fifth-grade students at SDN Pondok Cabe Ilir 01. Various activities such as ecosystem observation, photosynthesis exploration, and art using natural materials were conducted to support contextual and meaningful learning. The findings indicate that direct interaction with nature helps students develop curiosity, environmental sensitivity, and critical thinking. Despite facing challenges such as limited facilities and maintaining student focus during outdoor activities, teachers played an essential role in guiding students and designing balanced learning experiences. These findings align with Palupi (2024), who emphasized the importance of strategic planning in implementing effective outdoor learning models.

Abstract

Counseling guidance plays a crucial role in helping students overcome academic challenges and enhance resilience, particularly in junior high school settings. This study aims to analyze the role of school counselors in fostering student resilience amidst academic pressures at SMP Kartini 2 Batam. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method, with in- depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that school counselors contribute through individual counseling, group counseling, and resilience training, effectively improving students' stress management, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills. However, the implementation of counseling programs faces challenges such as limited time, insufficient understanding among students and parents about the importance of counseling, and a lack of counselors, necessitating further strategies to optimize services

Abstract

This study aims to improve the reading skills of early childhood children through ABACAGA card media in Group B SPS Mekar Karya IV Babakan Baru. Reading ability is a basic skill that plays an important role in children's cognitive development and their readiness to enter further education. Based on initial observations, it was found that many children still have difficulty in recognizing letters, composing words, and reading fluently. The lack of interesting learning methods is also a factor in children's low interest in reading. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were children in group B at SPS Mekar Karya IV Babakan Baru. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the use of ABACAGA cards can significantly improve children's reading skills. At the pre-cycle stage, children's reading skills were still low, but after being given intervention through ABACAGA card media, there was a significant increase in letter recognition, words, and simple reading comprehension. This media has proven effective in attracting children's interest and motivating them to learn to read in a more interactive and enjoyable way. Therefore, this study provides encouragement for educators, especially PAUD teachers, in implementing more innovative learning methods. In addition, this study can also be a reference for further research in the field of early childhood literacy

Abstract

The problem formulation in this study is the influence of the Alphabet Card Media to improve beginning reading skills in Indonesian language subjects at Muriabang GMIT Elementary School. This study uses a pre-experimental quantitative research method with a one-group (pretest-posttest) approach. Data collection techniques are validation and tests. The validation results by the subject matter expert were 85% with a feasible category. In addition, in the assessment format aspect which consists of 5 indicators, the assessment score obtained was 23, from the material content aspect which consists of 7 indicators, the assessment score obtained was 27, while the language assessment aspect consists of 4 indicators, the assessment score obtained was 18. All three aspects were categorised as Very Good. Meanwhile, the media was 80% with a feasible category. In addition, in the appearance aspect of the assessment, which consists of 6 indicators, the score obtained was 25, from the presentation aspect, which consists of 8 indicators, the score obtained was 30, while the security assessment aspect used consists of 2 indicators, the score obtained was 9. All three aspects are categorized as ‘worthy’. The use of the Alphabet Card media has led to an improvement in students' reading skills. This is proven by the Paired Sample t-Test with the results obtained, namely Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000001, which falls into the category of <0.05. The use of Alphabet Card media has a very large influence. This is also seen from the tcount of 6.001> 2.073, which means that the results between the pre-test and post-test classes are very significant.

Abstract

In general, people think that LPTQ only teaches how to read the Qur'an, but actually LPTQ also provides Islamic education learning. In addition, the lack of Islamic religious education learning in public schools makes students have to get additional Islamic religious education learning. The majority of Islamic religious education learning in public schools is only one meeting a week so it is very unlikely that students will be able to understand more about Islamic religious education learning. The research focus in this study are: 1) How is the Role of Tahfiz Education Institution in Improving Islamic Religious Education at Muamalah Qur'an Tahfiz Education Institution, Sempadian Village, Tekarang District in 2021 -2022? 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors at the Muamlah Qur'an Tahfiz Education Institute (LPTQ) Sempadian Village, Tekarang District 2021 -2022? The research approach used by researchers is a qualitative approach. The purpose of research with this qualitative approach is to produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people who can be observed. This type of research is field research, which is research conducted by collecting data and information directly in the field (research area). Based on the results of the study found that: First, LPTQ Muamlah, shows that there are several PAI materials taught in LPTQ Muamlah. Some of these materials include reading the Qur'an, faith, worship, morals, fiqh and Islamic history. Based on the six learning materials, it shows that LPTQ Muamalah teaches about PAI materials. Second, the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving PAI learning in LPTQ have supporting and inhibiting factors. It can be seen from several supporting and inhibiting factors. So it is clear that in LPTQ Muamalah the role of tahfiz educational institutions has supporting and inhibiting factors.

Abstract

This type of research is Quantitative Research. This research aims to find out: (1) Letter Card Media applied by researchers to students; (2) Students' initial reading ability in all subjects. This research was carried out from 5 August to 14 September 2024, at SD Negeri 7 Aitinyo, Maybrat Regency. The method used in the research was the letter card method, namely looking at the form of relationship between the variables studied. The variables studied were letter card media and the beginning reading ability of second grade elementary school students. The research subjects were class II students at SD Negeri 7 Aitinyo, Maybrat Regency. The instrument used to obtain data was a questionnaire. Data processing from the questionnaire was carried out by analyzing product moment correlations according to the variables studied in the research, namely, parenting pattern variables (X) and students' initial reading ability (Y). The results of research using product moment correlation show that the calculated "r" value is -0.029, while the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence on the use of letter card media and the initial reading ability of class II students at SD Negeri 7 Aitinyo, Maybrat Regency

Abstract

This study aimas to find out how the results of syllable and learning media affect the intial reading ability og grade I studentes of SD Inpres 16 sorong regerency. This type of research is quantitative research and uses the one group Pre-test Post-test design. The population of this study is all student in grade I of SD Inpres 16 Sorong Regerency for the 2024 academic year. The sampel used was 38 students. The sampling technique is a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique uses observation sheets and performance tests (pretest and posttest). The resulst of the study showed that the value of the intial reading ability of pretest students before using syllable car media was 0.856 and after the treatment of intial reading ability of the posttest was 0,882 and was in the very good category. From these results, there awas a significant difference in the ability to read beginning before and after using the syllable card media

Abstract

Making a decision is taking action after considering and analyzing the problem. Having the ability to make decisions is an action that needs to be trained, especially for biology teacher students so that they can solve problems by choosing important steps in understanding difficult decision situations. The purpose of this study was to analyze the decision-making ability of Biology Education students at Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a survey study method and a random sample approach. The results of the study indicate that overall the profile of decision-making skills possessed by students is in the high category based on the 9 decision-making ability profiles presented, including the ability to understand future dangers associated with actions. This study is believed to be a stepping stone to improving decision-making skills and creativity that can produce more than just making new choices. Furthermore, further research is needed to deepen the indicators of the decision- making ability profile in students.
