Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of classical guidance services to increase students' self-confidence at MAN 2 Bukittinggi. The subjects in this research were students from MAN 2 Bukittinggi who had low levels of self- confidence. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The quantitative approach is systematic scientific research into parts and phenomena and their relationships. The type of research used in this research is experimentation. The research design used in this research is a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test pro-test model. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. The questionnaire contains statements regarding student self- confidence. The results of the research are, the results of the Wilcoxon test calculation which obtained a significant result of 0.000. Based on applicable regulations, it is known that the Wilcoxon sig test. P-value 0.000 < 0.05 according to these results it can be said that the use of classical guidance services to increase students' self-confidence was successful. It can be concluded that classical guidance services can increase students' self-confidence at MAN 2 Bukittinggi

Abstract

Education as an effort to improve the quality of human life, both physical and spiritual, individual and social, must be based on a planned system and followed by the implementation of an appropriate and correct curriculum. This is intended to achieve the desired educational goals and is in line with current developments. Therefore, the success of the educational process is very dependent on the curriculum used, although this does not deny the importance of the role of other educational aspects.Considering that the role of the curriculum in an education system is so vital, every educational institution must be able to implement and systematize a form of curriculum that is considered capable of leading to ideal educational conditions. Abstract

Islamic religious education is education that teaches the values of goodness which then its implementation is applied in life. Islamic education itself has an important role in the history of the development of the Indonesian nation, especially in terms of the historical dimension where Islamic education has been a formal education for centuries known as pesantren. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship, the role of Islamic education in the national education system because to make a person who is balanced from an intellectual perspective, religious education is needed, namely Islamic education in order to achieve the goals of national education. The method used in this research uses qualitative research methods with the type of library research. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that Islamic education in the national education system is Islamic education occupying a position as a formal, non-formal, informal, and religious institution. The importance of the Islamic education system that must be obtained by the Indonesian people makes Indonesia itself make regulations by organizing educational institutions based on Islamic religious education which is based on the Qur'an and Sunnah. This research uses a research method based on history, searching for books related to the material that has been given. Based on books that contain the understanding that in the Islamic education system in Indonesia. The conclusion of the discussion of the Islamic education system in Indonesia explains the definition of the Islamic education system, the components that must exist in the Islamic education system, and the discussion of the Islamic education system in Indonesia

Abstract

This article delves into the essence of human beings in Islam by referencing Quranic verses that depict the spiritual, intellectual, and social dimensions of humanity. This essence encompasses the role of humans as stewards on Earth, the innate nature (fitrah) recognizing the oneness of Allah, and the trials and responsibilities that come with free will. The implications of the essence of humanity on Islamic education are underscored through Quranic verses, such as education as character formation (Al-Baqarah 2:197), nurturing the fitrah (Ar-Rum 30:30), and the responsibility as stewards (Al-Baqarah 2:205). Islamic education goes beyond the transmission of religious knowledge; it involves instilling moral values, faith, and piety to shape a generation of noble character. By understanding the essence of humanity in Islam, education is directed towards creating individuals who are not only intellectually astute but also responsible stewards capable of fulfilling their role in maintaining balance on Earth. This article asserts that Islamic education plays a vital role in producing a generation that positively contributes to society and the environment, in accordance with the holistic teachings of Islam.

Abstract

This literature study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of cooperative learning models in improving students' understanding of Social Studies (IPS) concepts in Junior High Schools (SMP). Cooperative learning methods that involve students working together in small groups are often considered to be able to improve student engagement and understanding compared to traditional learning methods that are more frontal and individualistic. This study reviews a number of relevant literatures, including journals, articles, and empirical studies that focus on the use of cooperative learning models in IPS education. The results of the study indicate that cooperative learning models, such as Jigsaw, Think-Pair-Share, and Group Investigation, can significantly improve the understanding of IPS concepts. These models support the exchange of ideas, in-depth discussions, and better reflection among students, which are important factors in the IPS learning process. In addition, cooperative learning also creates a more supportive and interactive learning environment, which can provide better opportunities for students to understand abstract and complex concepts in IPS. However, the study also identified several challenges, such as the need for more time in preparation and implementation, and the need for adequate teacher training to implement this learning model effectively. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that schools at the junior high school level consider integrating cooperative learning models into their social studies curriculum to enhance effective student understanding and build important social skills as part of the learning process.

Abstract

This study examines and describes library management innovation through the Instagrammable reading corner program at MTsN 7 Banyuwangi. Researchers think that in every educational institution or agency there must be weaknesses or phenomena that need to be overcome, at MTsN 7 Banyuwangi the researchers found symptoms (obstacles) that could be examined, namely library management innovation through literacy in instagrammable reading corners. There is a problem regarding the lack of interest in reading students at MTsN 7 Banyuwangi which greatly affects the knowledge of students which is very sad. For this reason, researchers want to see more about library management that is used in the MTs Negeri 7 Banyuwangi library.The purpose of this study is to describe: 1) How is the implementation of library management in the MTsN 7 Banyuwangi library, 2) Knowing library management innovations, 3) Implementing a reading corner to increase student literacy. In this study the method used is descriptive qualitative method, which collects data through interviews, observation and documentation. In this research, we can find out the library management used to improve the reading literacy of MTsN 7 Banyuwangi students by using data analysis: 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, 3) drawing conclusions and SWOT analysis.The results of the study show that 1) the implementation of library management at MTsN 7 Banyuwangi has operated in accordance with the POAC, 2) innovations in this library have succeeded in implementing the reading corner program, 3) after implementing this program students' interest in reading at MTsN 7 Banyuwangi has increased, and the program said to have been successful.

Abstract

Educational facilities and infrastructure are important resources in supporting the achievement of educational goals. The availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure needs to be supported by appropriate management of educational facilities and infrastructure. This article aims to describe and analyze the management of educational facilities and infrastructure. What this article uses in writing is library research. Data collection through various sources from books, articles or journals, and the results of previous research. Educational facilities and infrastructure are needed to support the teaching and learning process directly and indirectly. in the management of educational facilities and infrastructure, it is hoped that it can provide adequate educational facilities and infrastructure in both state and private schools.

Abstract

Education is an important thing in Indonesia. Education can have an impact on the sustainable lives of students both in terms of character and social emotions. Apart from that, education can also help a student find his or her identity. This research aims to find out how suitable Ki Hajar Dewantara's thoughts are when applied in the world of education at all levels, both formal and non-formal, in Indonesia. The method used is Preferred Reporting Items For Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) which is taken from national journals and international journals. Searching for literature sources in this article via Google Scholar in 2013-2023. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the aim of Ki Hajar Dewantara's education, which was also instituted at Taman Siswa, was to produce ideal humans for the nation who were physically and spiritually healthy and had intellectual, emotional and intelligent abilities. all of which have been implemented in Indonesia and are still used as a reference for the teaching and learning process at all levels of formal and non-formal education. Ki Hajar Dewantara also through his opinion tries to emphasize the implementation of character education which must instill understanding, feel something learned and then implement it in real behavior which is now being implemented in Indonesia through continuously updated curricula

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of driving teachers in realizing Freedom of Learning and educational transformation in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature methods. The research results show that driving teachers play a crucial role in realizing the vision of Merdeka Belajar through innovative teaching practices, responsive and relevant curriculum development, and the creation of a learning environment that is conducive for students to develop. Driving teachers become agents of change who encourage students to become more independent, creative and critical. They also facilitate project-based learning, collaborative learning, and the effective use of educational technology.
