Abstract

The problem of malnutrition in early childhood is a global challenge that has a serious impact on children's physical, cognitive and social development. This research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to analyze the relationship between a balanced diet, nutritional status and children's intelligence. The research results show that high-quality nutritional intake, such as protein, healthy fats, complex carbohydrates, and micronutrients (iron, iodine, and omega-3), plays an important role in supporting children's brain development and cognitive function. Interventions based on nutrition education, teacher training and community programs have been proven effective in preventing malnutrition and supporting optimal child growth and development. Integrated education for parents and teachers, strengthening micronutrient-rich nutrition programs, and regular monitoring of nutritional status are important steps to prevent malnutrition. Implementing technology-based approaches such as precision nutrition can also provide more personalized solutions in meeting children's nutritional needs. This research emphasizes the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration in overcoming child malnutrition to support their intelligence potential in the future.

Abstract

In early childhood, the accident rate is quite high. Efforts that can be made to overcome this are by providing health education knowledge in the form of training to parents about First Aid for Child Accidents. The aim of this activity is to provide knowledge to participants so they can provide first aid for child accidents. This program provides training with lectures and discussions as well as direct practice. The participants were 6 Talia Insan Mulia family planning teachers and 50 members of the Talia Insan Mulia Family Planning Association committee. Knowledge scores were measured before and after training. The average pre test score is 65.17 while the average post test score is 92.34. From this value, there is an increase in the average value of 27.17. In conclusion, there was an increase in first aid knowledge and skills in accidents after training.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges and opportunities in providing optimal nutrition for children in the modern era, characterized by changing dietary patterns, urbanization, and technological advancements. Nutrition is crucial in supporting children's physical growth, cognitive development, and long-term health. The research employs a qualitative approach through systematic literature reviews of recent studies on child nutrition. Findings indicate that digital technologies, such as nutrition tracking apps, significantly enhance nutritional literacy and practices. A holistic approach that integrates local traditions, nutrition education, and digital technology offers sustainable solutions to combat malnutrition. This study recommends adopting digital technologies and evidence-based nutritional education to promote optimal child growth. Its contribution lies in providing a practical guide that integrates multidisciplinary approaches to simplify optimal nutrition delivery for parents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the role of balanced nutrition in preventing stunting among children aged 4-6 years, focusing on the steps taken by schools to prevent stunting in children aged 4-6 years at TK Al Hikmah Ketapang Banyuwangi. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive statistics. The subjects of the study are children aged 4-6 years at TK Al Hikmah Ketapang Banyuwangi. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were conducted directly by observing the activities of providing supplementary food at TK Al Hikmah Ketapang Banyuwangi. Interviews were conducted with the principal and one parent. Documentation involved collecting photos or other documents that support this research. The data analysis technique used data triangulation, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the "Rabu Sehat Bermutu" program and the provision of supplementary food at TK Al Hikmah Ketapang Banyuwangi are effective steps in preventing stunting and supporting children's growth and development. This program also raises parental awareness of the importance of balanced nutrition, fosters healthy eating habits, and contributes to the development of a healthy and high-quality generation

Abstract

The traditional clothing of the Minahasa Tribe in North Sulawesi Province is an important symbol in preserving local culture. This study aims to explore the meaning and function of traditional clothing in the social and cultural context of the Minahasa community. The method used is qualitative with interview techniques and literature studies, which allows researchers to understand in depth how traditional clothing reflects the cultural identity and values of the community. One of the traditional clothes of the Minahasa Tribe is Kawasaran. The Kawasaran traditional clothing of the Minahasa tribe not only functions as traditional clothing, but is also a cultural heritage that is full of historical meaning, noble values, and identity that describes the Minahasa community. This clothing is not only a body cover but also describes spiritual values, position in society, and the spirit of love for the homeland that is passed down from previous generations.

Abstract

It might be difficult to benefit from learning since peopleoccasionally forget the lessons they have learned. Due to several reasons that convey the perception that students are not benefiting from their studies, they are unable to recognize the value of knowledge. According to Q.S. Al-Mujadilah verse 11, this essay explores how to acquire noble dignity through knowledge. Islam, which strongly appreciates and praises knowledge, would have a profound impact on people who study and have that information. People can easily live their life if they have knowledge. All of the data used in this paper was gathered through library research, including books, articles, other discourse materials that connected to the study's issue. The findingsof this study allow us to draw the conclusion that knowledge and study are really admirable attributes. Allah says that people who have faith and wisdom will beelevated in rank in Q.S. Al-Mujadilah verse 11. Therefore,knowledge is another means of achieving noble dignity. When someone seeks knowledge sincerely, with Allah's desire, and passionately Faith is the main goal of life, andknowledge is the means to achieving it, thus they both must work together to reach lofty dignity.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain the impact of the STEAM learning model on the learning interests of fifth-grade students in the science subject of SD Inpres 14 Sorong Regency. The research design is experimental, employing a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample size for this study was 10 students. The data were collected through observation, the administration of learning interest questionnaires, and the examination of relevant documentation. The data analysis techniques included a validity test, a reliability test, a normality test, and a hypothesis test. The results of the reliability test Cronbach's Alpha of the pretest instrument was 0.794 and exceeded the alpha value of 0.794 > 0.6. Thus, the questionnaire instrument is said to be reliable because it has met the requirements. The normality test of the pretest learning outcomes of grade V students has a significance of 0.879 > 0.05 while the post-test has a significance of 0.209 > 0.05. The hypothesis test obtained ????ℎ????????????????????of 12,150 with dk = n – 1 (10-1 = 9) obtained ????????????????????????  2.262 sig results (2-tailed) of 0.000. Based on the results, the value of 0.000 is less than 0.05 where 0.000 < 0.05. The results of this test indicate that the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected. It can thus be concluded that the STEAM learning model has significance on students' interest in learning science subjects in class V of SD Inpres 14 Sorong Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain the impact of Picture Card Media on the foundational reading abilities of Class II students at SD Negeri 21 Sorong Regency. This study employs a pre-experimental design. The study sample consisted of 14 students. The data collection instruments employed were performance tests and observations. The data analysis techniques comprise validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, and hypothesis testing. The reliability test results yielded a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.853, indicating a high level of reliability. The results of the Shapiro-Wilk normality test on the pretest data yielded a significance value of 0.379, which is greater than 0.05, while the posttest data yielded a significance value of 0.865, which is also greater than 0.05. The hypothesis test yielded a ????ℎ???????????????????? of 21.522 with dk = n-1 (14-1 = 13), resulting in a 2,160 sig 2 (tailed) value of 0.000. The results yielded a value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, the sig value is accepted and rejected, indicating that there is an influence of the use of picture-word card media on the initial reading ability of class II students at SD Negeri 21 Sorong Regency

Abstract

This study aims to describe the influence of differentiated learning in the project-based learning model on the critical thinking abilities of the fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Sumberagung. This research method employs a quasi-experimental approach. The population of this study consists of all 30 students of the fourth grade at SDN 2 Sumberagung . The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. Therefore, the sample consists of 30 students. Data collection techniques involve using a test, that is, test questions becoming the research instrument. The hypothesis analysis requirements consist of tests for data normality and homogeneity, and the data analysis technique employs the t- test. The results of the normality test show that the post-test scores for both the control class and the experimental class are normally distributed, with a significance value of 0.097 > 0.05 for the experiment class and 0.148 > 0.05 for the control class. Meanwhile, the homogeneity test results show that the probability value of 0.703 > 0.05 indicates that both groups have homogeneous variances. Furthermore, the results of the average difference test between the post-test scores of the control class and the experimental class indicate that the average post-test critical thinking abilities of students in the experiment class are higher than that of the control class, namely 78.87 > 65.40. The independent t-test result is also significant, with 0.001 < 0.005. Accordingly, in conclusion, differentiated learning in the project-based learning model influences the critical thinking abilities of the fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Sumberagung

Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive learning media that is effective in increasing students' understanding of religious diversity in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at the high school level. Using research and development (R&D) methods with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) model, this research produced a word search-based educational game called "Word of Wonder" (WOW). This game is designed to actively and interactively involve students in the learning process, so it is expected to improve the quality of PAI learning and encourage students to better understand and internalize religious values. The results of the trial show that this interactive learning media is effective in increasing student engagement and understanding of PAI material. The development of this learning media is expected to be an innovative alternative in the PAI teaching method in high schools.
