Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of social media, social interaction, collaboration, and promotion on the continuity of written works and writers' income on the KBM App platform. Using a correlational quantitative method, data was collected through an online survey involving 100 KBM App writers selected using the Slovin sampling technique from a total population of 114,902 writers. Analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicated that promotion and collaborative promotion significantly influenced social media usage, ultimately having a positive impact on writers' income. Additionally, social interaction directly affected the continuity of written works, although it did not significantly contribute to increased social media engagement. These findings highlighted the crucial role of digital marketing strategies in improving the financial well-being of writers on digital platforms.

Abstract

The increase in the number of elderly people creates various challenges in every aspect of life. The increase in the number of elderly people is also accompanied by a reduction in the birth rate and an increase in life expectancy in Indonesia, causing changes in the population structure. Per capita expenditure is used to see the condition of the economy. This study aims to analyze the effect of population aging, life expectancy and expenditure on economic growth in 34 Indonesian provinces from 2018 to 2023. This research is a quantitative research using panel data regression analysis method. Based on the results of the model specification test, the Fixed Effect Model is the best model used in this study.  The results showed that the population aging variable had a positive but insignificant effect on economic growth in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the life expectancy variable and the per capita expenditure variable have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income potential of rubber farming in financing higher education at Jambi University. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, with data collection techniques including primary data and questionnaires distributed directly to rubber farmers. The sample consists of 51 farmers. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, which aims to provide a detailed overview of the research object. This analysis includes calculations of the mean (M), median (Me), mode (Mo), and standard deviation (SD). Additionally, frequency distribution analysis is applied to identify data distribution patterns by grouping data into specific interval classes. The research findings indicate that the income potential (PP) of rubber farming is 1.07%, showing that PP > 1. Similarly, the income potential (PP) of non-rubber farming is 1.31%, also showing PP > 1. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning that the income allocated for education is greater than the required costs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of students’ perceptions and interests on their motivation to pursue a teaching career through the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG). A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. The population of this study consisted of final-year students from the Economics Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Semarang, with a total sample of 200 students selected through purposive sampling based on criteria of understanding PPG and expressing interest in becoming teachers. The research instrument was a closed-ended questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale, which was tested for validity and reliability. Construct validity was examined through exploratory factor analysis (EFA), while reliability was measured using Cronbach’s Alpha with a threshold of α ≥ 0.70. Data analysis was conducted in two stages: descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that both students’ perceptions and interests have a positive and significant effect on their motivation to participate in the PPG and pursue a teaching career. These findings provide practical implications for the development of promotional strategies and educational policies to strengthen teacher professionalism in higher education institutions.

Abstract

Various developments in accounting computer applications can simplify the process of managing accounting information quickly and accurately. Unfortunately, there are still limitations in available learning resources. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine students' perceptions and needs regarding the development of Android-based multimedia Kodular as a supplement to accounting computer learning at SMK N 8 Palembang. The sample of this study was 68 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire to obtain data on student perceptions and needs. Based on the study, the results of student perceptions of accounting computer learning that has been implemented at the school are based on aspects of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, response to use, social influence, and computer self efficacyhas a positive perception from students. Furthermore, 94.1% of students require creative and innovative learning resources to support computer accounting learning in schools, one of which is Kodular, an Android-based multimedia application that complements computer accounting learning in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for developing local culture-based economic learning media in South Sumatra using the Genially digital platform to improve the financial literacy of high school students. This quantitative descriptive study involved economics teachers and high school students at Srijaya Negara High School as respondents through a Likert scale questionnaire covering four aspects: learning media needs, local culture integration, financial literacy, and readiness for Genially. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with average score calculations. The results showed a very high need (score of 4.4 for teachers) and 4.3 (high) for students) for interactive learning media that integrates the local cultural context into economic learning. The integration of local culture, such as family gatherings, the habit of saving gold, songket, and land in South Sumatran society, was considered effective as a bridge for contextualizing abstract economic concepts through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. Although familiarity with Genially was still low, interest in adoption was very high (4.60), and the need for assistance reached a score of 4.75. This study recommends the development of Genially-based digital media that integrates ethnopedagogy as an innovative solution to improve contextual financial literacy, accompanied by a structured and sustainable teacher capacity building program.

Abstract

This research is research development that aims to produce a multimedia computer-based learning model is a valid game, practical, and to know the effectiveness of the use of multimedia generatedresults student learning. The model used is the development model of Rowntree which consists of three stages, namely the planning phase, the development phase and the phase of evaluation that have been modified with a formative evaluation Tessmer. To view the validity, researchers using sheets of validation performed on the stage of the assessment of the experts with the results averaged – averaged assessment 78% of media experts with a Good category and averaged – averaged expert assessment material of 92% with Excellent category . To see the practicalities, performed on the stage of test one results through interviews with a percentage of 85% and a small group using a detailed questionnaire sheet with the median results – averages 90% of student responses by category. As for seeing the effectiveness of performed on stage with a test using the test results of the study early (Pre – test) and tests the results of the study end (Posttest). Field Test in this research was conducted in the laboratory of Computer2 SMA Muhammadiyah Palembang with 1 number of students as many as 26 people and percentage complete value enhancement resultsof 53.9% and the total average – average value of the mastery of 88.5% has passing criteria of classical criteria of 85%, so the use of the resulting categories include Multimedia effectively. The results showed that the multimedia computer-based learning model the resulting game was valid, practical and effective on Economic subjects and can be used as an alternative in the learning process

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the influence of learning strategies generate interest with learning strategy questions prepared against the motivation of learning economics class X students in SMA Negeri 7 Palembang. The population in this study are all the students of class X in SMA Negeri 7 Palembang consisting of eight classes, amounting to 309 students. The sample in this study was taken by using Cluster Random Sampling technique, so selected X.1 class as experiment class and X.3 as control class. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and observations, both observations to see the motivation learners learn and observation to see the implementation of learning strategies. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and observations. Data analysis was done by calculating the percentage of scores obtained based on the visible descriptor and t-test with significance level α = 0.05 or 5% to test the hypothesis. Hypothesis test results obtained t count> 24>ttable 3.7 so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the influence of learning strategies generate interest with learning strategy questions prepared against the motivation to learn economy class X students in SMA Negeri 7 Palembang. From these studies, it is suggested that teachers pay more attention to the learning strategies that will be used and make this interest-motivated learning strategy as an alternative in the learning process, so as to improve the motivation of learners.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is the effort of individuals who want to create or run a business or business. In college, there are entrepreneurship lessons that are useful to grow students' interest in entrepreneurship. This research aims to find out the extent of interest of students of economic education, Bhinneka PGRI Tulungagung University in entrepreneurship. This research is quantitative descriptive research. Data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires to students of Economic Education Class of 2019. The research findings showed that of the 10 indicators in analyzing students' interest in entrepreneurship, only two indicators had a low percentage below 50%, namely the belief in being a successful entrepreneur and entrepreneurial ability with a percentage of 26.80% and 47.10%. While the other 8 indicators have a high percentage above 50%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the majority of students of the Economic Education Study Program of Bhinneka PGRI University have a high interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study aims to produce computer-based learning media in the form of Compact Disc (CD) of learning that is valid and practical on economic subjects and know the effectiveness of computer-based learning media on economic subjects in improving student learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were randomly assigned to obtain a class X.6 of 31 students as a product trial class. Techniques of collecting data using tests, interviews, and documentation. The test is used to obtain data in the form of student learning outcomes oneconomic subjects. Interviews were conducted to obtain more detailed and clear data about the practicality of the implementation of computer-based learning, while documentation aims to obtain a picture of the implementation of computer-based learning. The test data was obtained from the test result after post test given by the teacher at the third meeting of the research. Interview data is obtained from interview result at last meeting, while documentation data obtained from validator validation result to all aspects of assessment presented in validation sheet. The test data is interpreted with KKM value ≥ 70. So that students who are declared complete 100% and declared effective. Interview data are analyzed descriptively qualitative in which students can operate the Compact Disc (CD) of learning easily and stated practically. While the documentation data obtained R = 84.83 and pertained valid.
