This research was conducted to increase students interest in studying economics in class X.3 through a project based learning model at SMA Negeri 5 Palembang. This research is a classroom action research carried out in three cycles. The type of data used is descriptive quantitative data. The subjects of this study were 38 students in class X.3. Based on the results of the study, in cycle I to cycle III it was 16.87% from the initial average in cycle I of 69.41% which had a moderate interest in learning category to 86.28% in cycle III which had a very high learning interest category. The application of the project based learning learning model is able to increase the interest in studying economics for class X.3 students of SMA Negeri 5 Palembang. Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Flipped Learning learning model on student learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research type. Data collection techniques in this study were using tests, questionnaires, and documentation. While the data analysis technique was the t-test. The results of the study showed that there were differences in student learning outcomes before and after the Flipped Learning learning model was implemented, this can be seen from the t_count value of 11.768 and the sig. value. The results obtained were 0.000 or 0.000 <0.05, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The results of the student response questionnaire were 91%, which means that the results are included in the very good category. Researchers recommend that schools, especially teachers, prepare a summary of the material in the form of a printout that can be directly distributed to students if there is a power outage. With this alternative, learning activities can continue even though there are technical constraints.

Abstract

Income inequality remains a complex challenge in developing countries, including Indonesia. While it cannot be eliminated, it can be reduced to socially acceptable levels to maintain harmony in the system. This study analyzes the effect of the Human Development Index (HDI), poverty, economic growth, Regional Original Revenue (PAD), and Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) on income inequality in Indonesia during 2000-2021. Using the panel data regression analysis technique with the Fixed Effects Model, the results show that economic growth and NTP significantly negatively affect inequality, helping to reduce it. In contrast, HDI and poverty increase inequality, while PAD has no significant effect. The intercept indicates that East Java, Central Java, and West Java have lower inequality, mainly due to the presence of growth centers and industries. This study suggests the development of new economic centers in poor regions as an effective strategy to reduce inequality in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the validity of the book creator-assisted e-module and to assess its effectiveness in enhancing students' learning motivation. This research was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) for the 2021 economics education cohort, which consisted of 65 individuals as the research sample. Data was obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The research results show that the material validation is 86.88% and the media validation is 96%, categorized as suitable for use after revisions. The results from the questionnaire data indicate a significant effect on increasing learning motivation, where the t-test results show thitung ≥ ttabel, meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Additionally, there was an increase of 18.51% from the pre-test to the post-test, and the N-Gain result was 76.23%, categorized as effective. It can be concluded that the e-module assisted by Book Creator is suitable for implementation in learning activities based on the validation of materials and media. It is effective in enhancing students' learning motivation in the ICT practical course.

Abstract

An important indicator of a country's success in achieving sustainable development goals is its economic growth rate. Monetary policy significantly influences growth by controlling interest rates, the money supply, foreign exchange reserves, and currency exchange rates. From 2004 to 2023, this study investigated the relationship between monetary policy and economic growth in the ASEAN-5 countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand) using panel data regression with a Fixed Effect Model approach. The findings show that economic growth is positively and significantly affected by interest rates, the money supply, foreign exchange reserves, and currency exchange rates. These findings emphasize the need for cooperation among the ASEAN-5 countries and the necessity of sound monetary policies to maintain development and economic stability.
