Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between seniority and verbal abuse among teenage gamers who play in group settings. Using a quantitative correlational approach, data were collected from 61 respondents through purposive sampling. A Likert-scale questionnaire was employed to measure both seniority and verbal abuse. The results of Pearson’s correlation analysis indicated a significance level of 0.772 (p > 0.05) with a correlation coefficient of -0.038, suggesting no significant relationship between seniority and verbal abuse among the participants. This research provides insights into the dynamics of hierarchy and communication patterns within gaming communities.

Abstract

Based on the educational informatization paradigm of modern education theory, big data analysis and artificial intelligence of the new engineering system, colleges and universities have formed a student-centered, ability oriented, continuous iteration of qualification evaluation and curriculum quality. This research is based on collaborative filtering algorithm. The main purpose of the project is to provide a platform for students and parents to find the college education that best suits their needs. This will be achieved by considering all factors, such as price, location, facilities, courses provided and other functions, in order to establish a good recommendation system. We have developed most products, but we still need some funds to complete successfully. Our goal is $50000, which will help us create an MVP (minimum viable product) version of the application so that we can get feedback.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges and strategies of implementing nature education through school-based programs in Jiangsu Province kindergartens. Interviews with teachers from five kindergartens revealed experiences of integrating natural resources into daily teaching. Results showed that nature education, though valued for promoting holistic child development, faces challenges like insufficient theoretical guidance, weak teamwork, and inconsistent parental support. Public kindergartens benefited from community support and resource integration, while private ones struggled with systematic planning. The study recommends enhancing teacher training, reinforcing collaboration, improving curriculum assessment, increasing parental involvement, and incorporating forest education concepts to boost nature-based learning. This study provides valuable insights through a comprehensive analysis of nature education in China at the local level, and provides strong support for the improvement of nature education practice by improving the quality of early childhood education through a multidisciplinary perspective.

Abstract

How Preschool Teachers feel about the National Preschool Standard Curriculum in Malaysia. This study takes a closer look at how two preschool teachers in the Klang Valley feel about the National Preschool Standard Curriculum (NPSC). We interviewed them to understand their experiences, challenges, and suggestions for improvement. While they appreciate the NPSC's focus on play and a well-rounded education, they also highlighted some difficulties. These include a lack of resources, large class sizes, and limited training opportunities. They also pointed out a gap between the curriculum's ideals and what's happening in the classroom. By understanding their perspectives, we hope to improve the implementation of the NPSC and enhance the learning experience for young children in Malaysia. They recommended improved training programs, higher resource allocation, and a stronger emphasis on matching assessment methodologies with the NPSC's developmental goals. These findings highlight the importance of increased teacher assistance in maximizing the curriculum's influence on early childhood education in Malaysia. The study provides valuable views on the continuing discourse on NPSC.

Abstract

This article explores the evolution of Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, from early mainframe systems to the current integration of AI-powered tools. While CAI has improved language learning through multimedia and interactive platforms, challenges remain in effectively integrating cultural context and language complexities like tones and characters. The article discusses how AI-driven systems offer personalized learning experiences, real-time feedback, and the potential to enhance both language proficiency and intercultural understanding. It concludes by highlighting the role of intelligent education in the global spread of Chinese language and the need for further research to optimize CAI technologies for better learning outcomes.

Abstract

The research investigates how Malaysian kindergarten teachers apply the Montessori activity-based learning approach. Using qualitative methods, researchers interviewed three female educators between 30-35 years old, who had taught for 1-4 years. Results indicated that teachers viewed the Montessori approach favourably, noting its positive impact on children's growth across various domains including practical skills, sensory development, mathematical understanding, linguistic abilities, and cultural awareness. The study also identified several obstacles, including limited parent understanding, varying student requirements, and inadequate professional development opportunities. A significant challenge emerged from parents' expectations and misunderstandings, with some expressing concern about reduced focus on conventional academic exercises, particularly writing tasks. The research emphasizes several requirements: ongoing teacher education and programs to inform parents. The study suggests implementing more comprehensive professional development, adopting varied assessment strategies, and organizing parent education sessions to enhance understanding of Montessori principles.
