Abstract

تناولت الدراسة عن إبراز ملامح القصة القرآنية في بناء شخصية الفتاة المسلمة معتمدا على قصة مريم -عليها السلام-، لتكون قدوة ومثالا ومنهجا في حياتهنّ. وذلك لإصلاح أوضاع المجتمع الفاسدة وإظهار المقاصد القرآنية والقيم العليا التي ترتقي بها الأمم. سعت الباحثة بمناقشة واكتشاف انحراف الفتاة المسلمة اليوم وبيان ملامح المنهج القرآني من قصة مريم لمعالجته. ونظرا لطبيعة الموضوع أن الباحثة استخدمت المنهج الاستقرائي والوصفي التحليلي في استنباط المنهج القرآني لحل القضية. وقد توصلت الباحثة إلى نتائج مهمة من خلال البحث وهي قوة توحيد مريم -عليها السلام- في عبادته الله واحتفظت عفّتها واستعاذت بالله لما أتتها البشر السوي وهو جبريل والرضى بقضاء الله لما اختارها الله بالحمل بدون أن يمسسها بشر. وقد يقص القرآن قصة مريم في عبادتها وصفاتها المحمودة لأن تحاكي الفتاة المسلمة في بناء شخصية الفتاة المسلمة الأمثل.

Abstract

The process of memorizing the Al-Qur'an generally takes a long time, but at Madrasatul Qur'an the Mambaul Falah Islamic Boarding School Tambilung Tambak Bawean Gresik has a quarantine program in the process of memorizing the Qur'an quickly. This quarantine program is very interesting, because students are motivated to memorize quickly. The focus of this research is how the Al-Qur'an Memorization Quarantine Program students can memorize the Al-Quran in a relatively short time. Through field research and using qualitative methods, descriptive, and data sources using observation and interviews, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, and the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results of this study are that the quarantine program for memorizing the Al-Qur'an is very effective because students are focused only on memorizing the Al-Qur'an and are guided continuously by ustadz with core programs and companions or supports.

Abstract

Social media is an inseparable part of today’s global society. It becomes a very effective instrument in shaping a dynamic society. The convenience it offers makes people more responsible for complete information. There, people find many things and learn in many ways as well. Its presence facilitates all forms of social interaction in the virtual world. However, on the one hand, this convenience turned out to be an anomaly, including the rampant phenomenon of cyberbullying, which is like a form of virtual world crime, even if only in verbal form, such as bullying, body shaming, toxic people, cancel culture, hate-speech, and fake-news. In the Qur’an, this phenomenon’s characteristics have existed and been discussed. However, in responding to this phenomenon, few still present religion (the Qur’an) as a solution perspective. By applying qualitative-descriptive methods and thematic approaches, this study tries to present relevant verses with asbab al-nuzul, which will later be able to find solutions to the cyberbullying phenomenon so that awareness and ethics in social media can be created. In the end, this study concludes that to build human awareness of social media ethics so that cyberbullying does not occur, the Qur’an states the importance of tabayun and qaulan sadida

Abstract

Similar to the language of the Qur'an, the terminology will imply pleasure before ideological submission. This study explores several hypotheses regarding the pleasure-related aspects of the Qur'anic text, particularly in the context of the oral Qur'an. It is because achieving an aesthetic experience through the mouth is one way. Some of these issues have been addressed by the concepts of work and text (teks), as well as Roland Barthes' aesthetics of textual pleasure (The Pleasure of the Text). The use of Barthes concepts is made to carry on semiotics' work in the study of how to read the Qur'an and incorporate the Barthesian text theory into the same study. In comparison to the findings of this qualitative research, the Qur'an as an authoritative holy book is a work that has absolute and complete truth and completeness, which does not allow any textual changes. Muslims who reject this idea are also rejecting their faith in Almighty Allah. Since the Qur'an is so full of meaning, which is limitless and can never be fully understood, it is also a text. In light of this, the Qur'an will give its readers ample room to create new texts (read: tafsir). This is consistent with the principle, ah likulli zaman wa makn, that the Qur'an will always be relevant to the world and its events. The Qur'an, which is mostly read by Muslims, will also make its readers happy at the same time.

Abstract

Islam is a religion that glorifies women, by looking the importance of women's role in life. Islam is also a universal religion so that it does not only regulate the relationship of a servant with his God but also with fellow human beings. The command to wear the hijab is not limited to the obedience of a servant, but by wearing the hijab, she protects herself and those around her from the bad things that might happen. By wearing the hijab, someone is indirectly encouraged to pay attention to and improve their behavior, because the hijab serves as their identity as a Muslim woman and is a form of obedience to Allah's commands, so that their behavior will be noticed by others, maybe even emulated. However, there is a problem where many Muslim women who already wear the hijab do not understand the meaning, the purpose and the wisdom behind the mandatory on the hijab so that the hijab is worn only because it is requirement, or even a trend. Then those who reject the hijab use the excuse that what is more important is improving morals, not covering the aurat with the hijab. So this study aims to provide an explanation of the hijab, its meaning, its purpose and its wisdom behind its stipulations, as well as provide solutions so that Muslim women can slowly improve themselves after committing to wearing the hijab. The method used in this study is qualitative, with a descriptive-analytical presentation. After studying the verses that make it mandatory to wear the hijab, it can be seen that the hijab has a meaning “to cover”, and aims to protect Muslim women from disturbances, and encourage Muslim women to maintain their behavior because hijab is also an Islamic identity and the obedience of a Muslim woman. So there should be no conflict between the noble character and obedience to cover the aurat.

Abstract

Deviation in Qur'anic interpretation is exceedingly perilous, and one of the things that harms Muslims' faith is the advent of Ad-Dakhil in Qur'anic interpretation. Israiliyah's narrations, particularly those that focus on historical accounts, are a frequent source of Ad-Dakhil's influence. The underlying truths about the people's history in the past are rediscovered in this inquiry using a qualitative methodology or library research. Muslims may also be misled about their faith due to misconceptions about the Israiliyat account in the Qur'an. As a result, they tend to accept and believe in teachings or stories that contain Khuraad and deviations.

Abstract

In terms of discourse, it is known that hoaxes are one of the main problems in the creation of intolerance and acts of violence in the paradigm of religious people. In the Indonesian contest, it is realized that the problem of intolerance is based on an individual's lack of knowledge of beliefs outside their beliefs, thus influencing violent behavior and restrictions on religious expression in the life of religious communities. This can be proven through SETARA Institute data which states that from 2018-2020, cases of religious intolerance and violence in Indonesia have increased; to 202, 327, and 422. An increase in cases necessitates mutual suspicion and hostility which has implications for the decline in the value of unity and thus threatens the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. This paper is a review of the literature on Muhammad Husain Thabathabai's thoughts regarding the interpretation of hoax verses which are studied through his main work, entitled "Tafsīr al-Mīzān". By using an analytical descriptive approach. The results of this paper, that to overcome the spread of hoaxes, Muhammad Husain Thabathabai through "Tafsīr Mīzān" explains 4 terms of hoax in the Koran, including; ifkun, Iftirā, kidzb, and buhtān to describe the dangers of hoaxes in human life. Furthermore, Muhammad Husain Thabatahabi offers 3 ways to avoid hoaxes to build religious harmony during the Covid-19 pandemic, including; critical thinking, introspection, and staying away from assumptions or prejudice.

Abstract

This paper aims to shed light on some of the financial and ethical purposes of Surah Al-Nisa. This Surah had a significant role in transforming the convictions of the pre-Islamic society after many of them became Muslim in not being exposed to the financial transactions of the vulnerable group in the Islamic society through economic and administrative empowerment for them. These verses also come in response to difficult circumstances faced by vulnerable women, orphans, and children and the robbery of their financial rights. This research uses the inductive method to observe the financial verses in Surah Al-Nisa. Then relies on the analytical approach to study and discuss these verses in their moral purposes in Surah Al-Nisa. One of the research's most important findings is that Surah Al-Nisa contains many economic and ethical goals. The first is achieving complete support for the weak in the Muslim community. The first category of these vulnerable people is the orphans; by changing the convictions of parents and guardians and waiving arrogant social restrictions. Furthermore, these verses contain some plans and rehabilitation courses that afflict orphans and the vulnerable to show full awareness to carry out their own interests. In addition, these verses teach how to manage their affairs to obtain independence in financial transactions and not to exercise injustice against them and infringement on their Finance rights and consume it.

Abstract

Tafsir al-Azhar is a well-known work of Indonesian exegete, Hamka. This study examines one of Hamka’s magnum opus exegetical works. The emphasis is on his discussion of economic matters, particularly capitalism, usury, and corruption, particularly in the selected text. This study employs a qualitative approach, analyzing chosen documents. This study revealed that Hamka’s techniques are unique due to to Indonesia's socio-cultural characteristics. Hamka employed the al-Ijtimā‘ī method in his writing, as do other exegetes. This method aimed to comprehend the Quran by carefully examining its terms and expanding their meanings beautifully and engagingly anguage within the context of the existing cultural system.

Abstract

In contrast to the previous centuries of the XX century, the century of young people with the spirit of coming out of stagnant thinking has indirectly stimulated the attention of scholars in studying interpretations and compiling works of interpretation with various methods, patterns and styles. Tafsir al-Azhar is one of the largest interpretations compiled by Hamka, Hajj Muhammad Karim Amrullah. This article attempts to critically examine whether there is an influence of time and place in the preparation of the Tafsir al-Azhar. For this reason, historical methods and critical analysis will be used to show the figure of Hamka and his interaction with the socio-culture of the Minang people in particular and Indonesia in general. At the same time, it is used to analyze the Tafsir al-Azhar with regard to the influence of the time and place in the work. The result is that Hamka in explaining the verses of the Qur'an sometimes takes wisdom from the customs of a society that signify the place and explain also from the period of development of political turmoil after Indonesian independence and the renewal of the thoughts of Islamic figures that signify time, furthermore,the place and time have exerted influence in compiling the Indonesian interpretation work "Tafsir al-Azhar."
